집중권 방식 단상유도기의 출력 및 소음 특성 개선 (Improvement of Output Characteristics and Acoustic Noise Characteristics for Single Phase Induction Motor with Concentrated Winding)

  • In general the distributed winding method is applied for induction motor in order to have the sinusoidal flux distribution. Recently the concentrated winding method is the interested technique so as to lower the material cost portion of copper coil. In the concentrated winding induction motor the harmonic flux and the torque deterioration by it would be occurred. To restrain ill effect of harmonic flux distribution by concentrated winding, the skew of rotor conduction bar is very important design variable. This study is focused on the optimal design of rotor bar's skew and winding turns for concentrated winding induction motor. In this study, the control method of harmonic parasitic torque in concentrated winding induction motor is proposed and validated its practicality through the experiment. As a result of this study, large skew angle which was not conventional in distributed winding was favorable in the concentrated winding induction motor. The concentrated winding induction motor which is designed per the proposed method of this study can be manufactured more cost effectively than conventional distributed winding.

다양한 기하학적 형상을 갖는 층간 분리된 복합신소재 적층구조의 동적 불안정성 (Dynamic Instability of Delaminated Composite Structures with Various Geometrical Shapes)

  • The dynamic instability analysis of delaminated composite structures subjected to in-plane pulsating forces is carried out based on the higher order shell theory of Sanders. In the finite element (FE) formulation, the seven degrees of freedom per each node are used with transformations in order to fit the displacement continuity conditions at the delamination region. The boundaries of the instability regions are determined using the method proposed by Bolotin. The numerical results obtained for skew plates and shells are in good agreement with those reported by other investigators. The new results for delaminated skew plate and shell structures in this study mainly show the effect of the interactions between the radius-length ratio and other various parameters, for example, skew angles, delamination size, the fiber angle of layer and location of delamination in the layer direction. The effect of the magnitude of the periodic in-plane load on the instability regions is also investigated.

  • 본 논문은 스캔한 문서 및 전자 문서 등과 같은 문서 이미지에서의 기울기를 검출하는 기법을 제안하고 있다. 제안한 알고리즘은 처리 속도 향상을 위해 일정 비율로 축소된 이미지를 사용한다. 하지만 여전히 문서 전체를 대상으로 기울기를 검출하는 것은 많은 계산량을 요구하므로 대상영역(ROI)을 선택한다. 대상 영역은 모폴로지 연산을 통해 문자열을 하나의 긴 component로 연결하고 Labeling 과정을 통해 선택된다. 그리고 원본 이미지에서 문자의 baseline을 바탕으로 대상 영역에서 기울기를 검출한다. 실험결과를 통하여, 제안한 방법은 표나 그래프가 포함된 여러 종류의 문서 이미지에서 빠르고 정확한 기울기 값을 검출함을 확인할 수 있다.

  • An intelligent polishing robot automation system is developed. Automatic Tool Change System(A.T.C.), Tool Posture Angle Control, and Robot Program for Polishing Application are developed and integrated into a robotic system that consists of a robot, pneumatic finding tool, and finding abrasives (papers and special films). A.T.C. is specifically designed to exchange whole grinding tool set for complete unmanned operation. Tool Posture Angle Control is developed to give a certain skew angle rather than right angle to tools on the surface for best finishing results. A.T.C. and Tool Posture Angle Control is controlled by a PC and the robot controller. Also, there have been some considerations on enhancing the performance of the system. Some elastic material is inserted between the grinding pad and the holder for better grinding contact. The robot path data is generated automatically from the NC data of previous machining process.

  • 2관절 유연한 로봇 팔는 관절 축을 회전할 때 진동이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 유연한 로봇팔의 진동 동력학은 bernoulli-Euler의 beam이론과 라그란지 방정식을 이용하여 구하였고, $\dot{D}$-2C가 skew symmetric이다는 사실을 사용하여 계산량을 줄이는 단순한 구조의 새로운 제어기를 제안한다. Lyapunov 안정도 이론은 관절을 조절하기 위한 안정한 확정적인 비선형 제어기를 성취하기 위하여 적용된다.

고주파자속을 고려한 단순상유도전동기의 해석 (Analysis of Single-phase Induction Motor Having Space Harmonics in Its Magnetic Field)

  • In this paper, the characteristics of a single phase induction motor which is considered the space harmonic flux by the double revolving field theory is analysed. As the rotor resistance for the fundamental flux is separated from the resistance for the rotor bar and end-ring, and the rotor leakage reactnace is separated from the skew leakage reactance and the other, so the circuit constants for the space harmonic flux is expressed by the circuit constants for the fundamentals. As the ratio of the circuit constants for the magnetizing reactance is used, the generalized equivalent circuit is made up. the characteristic equation which is able to analysis the subdivided characteristics by the above circuit is induced. The ratio of the circuit constants and the skew angle being changed, the variations of the torque-speed characteristics for the fundamentals and harmonics is examined by this equation.

Numerical Investigation on Permanent-Magnet Eddy Current Loss and Harmonic Iron Loss for PM Skewed IPMSM

  • This paper presents the characteristics of PM eddy current loss and harmonic iron loss for PM step-skewed Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) with concentrated windings and multi-layered PM under the running condition of maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) and flux-weakening control. In particular, PM eddy current loss and harmonic iron loss in IPMSM have been numerically computed with three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis (3D FEA), whereby IPMSM with concentrated windings and multi-layered PM has been designed to identify the optimized skew angle contributing to the reduced PM eddy current loss and torque ripples, while maintaining the required average torque. Furthermore, numerical investigation on PM eddy current loss and iron loss at MTPA and flux-weakening control has been carried-out in terms of PM step-skew.

인산을 적용한 Ultra Definition 디스플레이 패널의 패턴 형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Pattern Formation of Ultra Definition Display Panel Applying Phosphoric Acid)

  • Phosphoric acid was used as etching agent instead of conventional peroxide - based chemicals for forming pattern of ultra definition display. Etchant was synthesized by mixing etching agent, oxidation agent, buffer solution, and additive into solvent, deionized water. Thicknesses of copper, main metal of ultra definition display, for etching, were 10,000 and $30,000{{\AA}}$. Etch stop of good low skew for proper pattern formation has been occurred at the content ratio of phosphoric acid 60 - 64%, nitric acid 4 - 5%, additive(potassium acetate) 1 - 3%. Buffer solution(acetic acid) decreased the metal contact angle $63.07^{\circ}$ to $42.49^{\circ}$ for benefiting pattern formation. Content variations on four components (phosphoric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, potassium acetic acid) of the etchant with storage time were within 3 wt% after 24 hrs of etching work.

  • Experimentally, the aligned direction of AFLCs in electro-optic cells having both the substrates rubbed along the same direction is skewed by a few degrees from the rebbing direction. To explain why, we proposed "Torsional Rigid Body Model" and interpreted their skewing angle as the action of short pitch with the large shear stress. That is, the azimuthal an anchoring strength (about 35 dyn/cm) in the cell is much larger than the maximum shear stress (about 10$^{-6}$ dyn/cm) for the original pitch and so forbids the optic axis to skew. On the side hand, the strength is smaller than the maximum shear stress (about 42 dyn/cm) for short pitch and then allows the optic axis to skew.

Bi-axial and shear buckling of laminated composite rhombic hypar shells

  • The bi-axial and shear buckling behavior of laminated hypar shells having rhombic planforms are studied for various boundary conditions using the present mathematical model. In the present mathematical model, the variation of transverse shear stresses is represented by a second-order function across the thickness and the cross curvature effect in hypar shells is also included via strain relations. The transverse shear stresses free condition at the shell top and bottom surfaces are also satisfied. In this mathematical model having a realistic second-order distribution of transverse shear strains across the thickness of the shell requires unknown parameters only at the reference plane. For generality in the present analysis, nine nodes curved isoparametric element is used. So far, there exists no solution for the bi-axial and shear buckling problem of laminated composite rhombic (skew) hypar shells. As no result is available for the present problem, the present model is compared with suitable published results (experimental, FEM, analytical and 3D elasticity) and then it is extended to analyze bi-axial and shear buckling of laminated composite rhombic hypar shells. A C0 finite element (FE) coding in FORTRAN is developed to generate many new results for different boundary conditions, skew angles, lamination schemes, etc. It is seen that the dimensionless buckling load of rhombic hypar increases with an increase in c/a ratio (curvature). Between symmetric and anti-symmetric laminations, the symmetric laminates have a relatively higher value of dimensionless buckling load. The dimensionless buckling load of the hypar shell increases with an increase in skew angle.
