영양성분표시를 위한 우리나라 가공식품의 1인 1회분량 산정 연구 (Defining one Serving Size of Korean Processed Food for Nutrition Labeling)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the one serving size of Korean Processed Food. Defining the one serving size is very important for nutrition labeling and foodservice operation, because the one serving size is used to set up a proper portion by each foodservice operation. The basic data of 200 items were collected through three methods. Searching many cookbooks, exploring the commercial and noncommercial foodservices -6 industrial foodservices, 100 nationwide elementary school foodservice recipes analysis, and 3 hospital foodservice systems as the samples - moreover, experimental cooking and sensory evaluation by trained panels were conducted to assess quantity preference of selected food items. All data were rearranged through food type, that is, main dish, side dish, dessert and health food. One serving sizes of processed foods showed wide variety according to the different menus that include selected food items. Therefore, means and ranges of serving size by three research methods were presented item by item. The results obtained were: 1. The Korean Processed Foods were dried and sugar adding and soused foods, and many of them used the natual processing methods. 2. There were wide varieties in the classification of main dishes, but many of them were cereals, noodles, and sugar products. One serving size of noodles were around $50{\sim}100\;g$, cereals were $20{\sim}40\;g$, which means the one serving size can be differenciated by the food usage. 3. According to the Food classification of side dishes, many of them were as following; natural dried foods, processed fish products, salted or sugar added foods, seasoned foods and sugar products. Moreover the Types of cooking in side dishes were almost culinary vegetables, teas, health foods and condiments, and soused fish products. 4. About desserts, they were almost teas and sugars, and the Types of cooking were teas, health foods and seasonings. 5. We can conclude that almost Korean Processed foods used the drying and soused processing methods for long-time preservation, but it can make the higher content of any special elements, such as sodium or carbohydrates.

합성수지제 및 유리제 식품용 기구의 라벨 표시사항에 대한 소비자 활용도 및 인식도 분석 (Analysis on Consumer Use and Perception on Labeling of Cooking Utensils Made of Plastic and Glass)

  • This study examined consumer perception and use on labeling of cooking utensils made of plastic and glass to get information about improving the labeling. The data were collected from 505 adults in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Incheon, and Gwangju. The data were analyzed by SPSS Windows V.14.0. Frequencies, t tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Duncan's multiple range tests were carried out. Many respondents checked off 'precautions in use' more than any other notice when they purchased the cooking utensils made of plastic and glass. Respondents were dissatisfied with the letter size and intelligibility of foreign language on the labeling. Most respondents preferred 'tag' for most cooking utensils made of plastic and glass. In addition, on necessity of precautions for each category of plastic cooking utensils, frying pans, plastic baskets, plastic water buckets, plastic seasoning bottles, the frying pan showed the highest need for 'do not place close to the fire'. Plastic cups and plastic containers showed the highest in 'whether utensils could be used in the microwave oven and accompanying precautions', and plastic cutting board showed the highest in 'matters relating to washing before use.' In the case of cooking utensils made of glass, 'precaution on shock' was the highest for glass cups and mugs and 'whether utensils could be used in the microwave oven and accompanying precautions' was the highest for glass pans, dishes and containers.

이중 면역금입자 표지법을 이용한 인삼 배유세포내 Vicilin과 Legumin의 합성시기 및 수송방식 (Determination of the Synthetic Time and the Transport Pattern of Vicilin and Legumin in Ginseng Endosperm Cell Using Double Immunogold Labeling)

  • Vicilin and legumin, the storage Proteins of seed, were Purified from ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) endosperm cells. They were immunized in rabbits, and antibodies were raised respectively. Using these two antibodies, double immunogold labeling of vicilin and legumin was carried out to determine the gap of synthetic time and the transport pattern of vicilin and legumin in the ginseng endosperm cells. Vicilin and legumin were synthesized at the same time at early embryo developmental stage. They were secreted from the Golgi bodies and accumulated into the small vacuoles. As the endosperm cells developed, vicilin and legumin localized in the small vacuoles were gradually transported toward the large central vacuole where they were stored. Protein bodies were derived from the vacuoles filled with proteins and distributed in the endosperm cells of mature red seed. Protein bodies were various in size from 1 to 8 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in which vicilin and legumin were mixed each other. The number of small particles labeled on the vicilin was greater than that of large particles labeled on the legumin in the protein bodies indicating that the amount of vicilin is higher than that of legumin in the protein bodies.

  • 현재 항만의 컨테이너 양하 및 적하 과정에서 획득되는 컨테이너 영상은 크기 및 위치가 정형화되어 있지 않고, Yard Tractor의 정차 차선과 컨테이너의 크기 등의 외부 환경 변화로 인해 인식에 적합한 영상을 획득하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 Top-Hat Transform을 이용하여 실시간 영상으로부터 문자의 영역을 추정하고, 카메라의 PAN/TILT/ZOOM 기능을 이용한 시선이동을 통해 문자인식에 적합한 영상을 획득한다. 획득된 컨테이너 영상으로부터 Top-Hat Transform 및 Histogram Projection을 이용하여 식별자 영역을 추출하고 이진화한 뒤, Labeling 된 결과를 토대로 배경과 문자영역을 구분하고 개별 문자들을 추출한다. 이후 오류역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 추출된 개별 문자들을 인식한다. 실제 부두에 설치하여 제안된 컨테이너 식별자 영상 획득 및 인식 방법이 우수함을 확인하였다.

Preparation of iron oxide nanoparticle combined with radioisotope for molecular imaging

  • Molecular imaging refers to detect the biochemical process in living organisms at the cellular and molecular levels and to quantify them. Due to several advantages of nanomaterials, various molecular images using nanomaterials are being tried. Attempts have been made to combine nanoparticles, known as micro- or nanosized nanomaterials, with radioactive isotopes for molecular imaging probe. The radiolabeled nanoparticles will expend the molecular imaging due to nanoparticle's size-dependent nature. In particular, iron oxide nanoparticles can be used for magnetic resonance imaging, can be adjusted in size, easily functionalized, and biocompatible, making it a very good platform for molecular imaging. In addition, iron oxide nanoparticles may be the best example for a new approach to molecular imaging techniques. In this paper, we introduce various methods for preparation of iron oxide nanoparticle combined with radioisotope starting from various synthesis methods of iron oxide nanoparticles to utilize iron oxide nanoparticles as a platform for molecular imaging through radioactive labeling.

한국어 의미역 결정을 위한 Korean PropBank 확장 및 도메인 적응 기술 적용 (Extending Korean PropBank for Korean Semantic Role Labeling and Applying Domain Adaptation Technique)

  • 한국어 의미역 결정(Semantic Role Labeling)은 주로 기계학습에 의해 이루어지며 많은 말뭉치 자원을 필요로 한다. 그러나 한국어 의미역 결정 시스템에 사용되는 Korean PropBank는 의미역이 부착된 용언과 용언 격틀이 PropBank에 비해 각각 1/5, 1/2 수준에 불과하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국어 의미역 결정 시스템을 위해 의미역이 부착된 용언과 용언 격틀을 확장하여 Korean PropBank를 확장 시키고자 한다. 대부분의 의미역 결정 시스템은 학습 도메인에 의존적이기 때문에 적용 도메인 변경에 따른 성능 하락이 나타날 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 학습 말뭉치와 적은 양의 새로운 학습 말뭉치를 활용하여 새로운 도메인에 대해 의미역 결정 시스템의 성능 하락을 최소화 할 수 있는 도메인 적응 기술을 Structural SVM(S-SVM)과 Deep Neural Network(DNN) 기반 한국어 의미역 결정 시스템에 적용하여 그 실효성을 알아보고자 한다.

면역황금표식법을 이용한 폐흡충의 유약함충 조직내 항원성 부위에 관한 연구 (Antigenic localities in the tissues of the young adult worm of Paragonimus westermani using immunogold labeling method)

  • 폐흡충(Paragonimus westermani)에 감염된 숙주에 대해 항체 생성을 유도하는 물질이 분포하고 있는 부위를 화인하기 위하여 대조군의 IgG와 폐홉충에 감염된 실험 개의 특이 IgG를 폐흡충 유약성충 조직에 반응시키고 면역황금표식법을 이용하여 전자현미경으로 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 대조군의 IgG를 반응시킨 유약성충 표피층은 표피세포에서 분비되는 물질이 포함된 표피 합포체로 구성되어 기저층과 분명하게 구별되었으며 근육층도 잘 발달되어 있었다. 난황세포는 크기가 다양한 분비과립 등을 포함하고 있었으며 특히 조면소포체가 발달되어 있었다. 맹관의 막구조물은 잘 발달되었으며 장상피 합포체도 잘 발달되어 있었다. 한펀, 폐흡충에 감염된 실험동물의 특이 항체로 반응시킨 유약성충 표피충의 표피 합포체와 표피세포의 세포질에 황금입자의 매우 특이적인 표식가 관찰되었고 난황세포에서는 분필과립에 황금 입자가 높은 밀도로 관찰되었다. 그리고 맹관 상피 합포체는 미약하게 황금 표지가 되었고 맹관 막구조물과 맹관 내강에도 특이하게 황금 표지가 관찰되었지만 표피 합포체와 표피세포보다 밀도가 낮게 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 폐홉충에 감염된 실험 개는 폐흡충의 표피 합포체와 표피세포에서 생성된 물질과 난황세포에서 생성된 물질에 의하여 면역항체가 형성되며 일부는 맹관 내용물에 의해 약간의 면역항체가 유도되는 것으로 생각되었다.

  • It is well known that tire/road factors have a large influence on overall tire performance. In this paper, the basic study on the effects of tire/road factors on the pass-by noise performance of tire labeling has been carried out through experimental tests. The tire pass-by noise is affected by road characteristic factors, especially greatly influenced by road friction coefficient, and the next dominant factor is road chipping size. For several authorized pass-by noise test tracks, the pass-by noise correlation test has been done to know the test site effect, which results in 2~3dB(A) variation of pass-by noise level. Finally, it is shown that the winter tire is differently influenced by the pass-by noise test track characteristics, as compared to all-season tire and summer tire.

  • Semi Supervised Learning 은 일부의 data 에는 labeling 을 하고 나머지 data 에는 labeling 을 안한채로 학습을 진행하는 방법이다. Object Detection 은 이미지에서 여러개의 객체들의 대한 위치를 여러개의 바운딩 박스로 지정해서 찾는 Computer Vision task 이다. 당연하게도, model training 단계에서 사용되는 data set 의 크기가 크고 객체가 많을 수록 일반적으로 model 의 성능이 좋아 질 것이다. 하지만 실험 환경에 따라 data set 을 잘 확보하지 못하던가, 실험 장치가 데이터 셋을 감당하지 못하는 등의 문제가 발생 할 수 있다. 그렇기에 본 논문에서는 semi supervised learning based object detection model 을 알아보고 data set 의 크기를 조절해가며 modle 을 training 시킨 뒤 data set 의 크기에 따라 성능이 어떻게 변화하는 지를 알아 볼 것이다.

  • Synaptic vesicles, which are endogenous to neurotransmitters, are involved in exocytosis by active potentials and release neurotransmitters. Synaptic vesicles used in neurotransmitter release are reused via endocytosis to maintain a pool of synaptic vesicles. Synaptic vesicles show different types of exo- and endocytosis depending on animal species, type of nerve cell, and electrical activity. To accurately understand the dynamics of synaptic vesicles, direct observation of synaptic vesicles is required; however, it was difficult to observe synaptic vesicles of size 40-50 nm in living neurons. The exo-and endocytosis of synaptic vesicles was confirmed by labeling the vesicles with a fluorescent agent and measuring the changes in fluorescence intensity. To date, various methods of labeling synaptic vesicles have been proposed, and each method has its own characteristics, strength, and drawbacks. In this study, we introduce methods that can measure presynaptic activity and describe the characteristics of each technique.
