  • 소방선 훈련시스템은 실선을 모사하여 제작된 소방선 훈련 시뮬레이터이다. 훈련원은 교관의 제시에 따라 다양한 훈련 시나리오를 수행하며 상황 대처 능력과 운항 및 소방 기술을 습득할 수 있다. 이러한 과정에서 훈련원에 대한 객관적이고 적절한 평가는 필수적이므로 이를 위한 훈련원 평가시스템을 개발하였다.

자동차 사고를 재현한 시뮬레이션 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 요구도 조사 (Survey of the Need for the Development of a Simulated Training Program that Reproduces Automobile Accidents)

  • 본 연구는 119 구급대원 60명과 응급구조학과 교수 9명을 대상으로 조사한 자동차 사고 시뮬레이션 교육 프로그램에 대한 요구도 조사이다. 연구결과 응급처치 항목에서 경추보호대 착용에 대한 시뮬레이션 교육 요구도가 가장 높았고(76.8%), 시나리오 주제 항목에서 머리 손상에 대한 시뮬레이션 교육 요구도가 가장 높았다(75.4%). 구급대원의 근무경력 43개월을 기준으로 두 그룹별 요구도 차이를 확인한 결과 응급처치 항목은 항쇼크바지 사용법과 KED 사용 및 신속 구출에 대한 요구도가 두 그룹에서 유의한 차이를 보였고(p = 0.01, p = 0.05), 시나리오 주제는 얼굴, 복부, 기타 손상에 대한 요구도가 두 그룹에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다(p = 0.05, p = 0.04, p = 0.03). 자동차 사고 시뮬레이션 교육 프로그램에 대한 119 구급대원과 응급구조학과 교수의 요구도도 높게 나타났으므로 이를 기반으로 추후 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발이 필요하다고 평가되었다.

  • 현재 항공기, 자동차 훈련용 시뮬레이터는 지상에 설치된 시뮬레이터에 가상의 상황을 구현하여 교육생에게 다양한 교육훈련 내용을 제공하고 교관은 다른 공간에서 교육훈련에 대한 내용을 모니터링하고 교육훈련에 필요한 내용은 바로 지시하여 교육훈련의 효과를 극대화하고 있다. 하지만 교육생이 실제 항공기나 자동차를 탑승하여 훈련을 진행 할 경우 지상의 교관은 항공기나, 자동차에 대한 내용을 지상에서 모니터링 할 수 없고 교육 종료 후 교육훈련 내용에 대한 평가가 쉽지 않아 교육생에게 양질의 교육이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 항공기, 자동차에 GPS정보와 항공기 또는 자동차의 각종 정보를 실시간으로 수집하여 3D 영상 시뮬레이션을 구현하며 화면에 현재 항공기 또는 자동차의 영상을 3차원으로 구현하여 관제센터에서 교육훈련 상황을 실시간으로 모니터링 및 교육훈련에 활용하고 3D 영상 파일을 저장하여 교육훈련 종료 후 교육생과 교관이 교육훈련 내용에 대하여 평가와 분석을 할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어를 개발하고자 한다.

Goal-based Scenario를 활용한 간호시뮬레이션 수업설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of Nursing Simulation using Goal-based Scenario for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of educational design according to Goal-based Scenario constituent elements such as educational goals, mission, cover story, role, scenario operation, resources, and feedback in simulation training. Methods: The subjects of this study were 130 nursing students in their senior year who enrolled in the simulation exercise I course. They were divided into a total of 10 groups in which less than 20 students were assigned. In order to verify the effectiveness of the simulation training through Goal-based Scenario instructional design, a design of non-equality control group was carried out. Results: The results of this study were as follows: Critical thinking (t=1.81, p=.073) and problem solving ability (t=1.79, p=.076), course satisfaction (t=8.61, p<.001) and academic performance (t=5.48, p=.001) were supported. Conclusion: This study applied a Goal-based Scenario simulation program to present clear objectives for simulating training and to advance learning methods that are appropriate to the current education environment. In addition, this study has significance in presenting an instructional model for various simulated practice education and can be used as useful basic data related to simulated training education.

민방위 화생방 가상훈련 시뮬레이션 시나리오 개발 연구 (A Study on Development of Civil Defense CBR Virtual Training Simulation Scenario)

  • In spite of international efforts to control nuclear weapons and chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) weapons, North Korea obtains and sells CBR weapons illegally. As a result, the worldwide threat of CBR weapons is increasing. Unfortunately, civil defense education and training for CBR weapons have not been adopted for real situations because of the long period of absence of an actual combat. In this study, virtual training scenarios that are applied to the simulation were made in 5 steps to cope with CBR situations. These scenarios are expected to have three effects. First, trainings can be improved with experience and education. Second, the problems and health hazards of CBR weapons and supplies can be solved with CBR virtual training simulation experience. Finally, corresponding effects can be recognized and predicted in real situations through roles and mission procedures of simulation scenario.

시뮬레이션 기반 신생아 응급간호 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 요구도 조사 (Educational Needs in the Development of a Simulation Based Program on Neonatal Emergency Care for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the current status and needs in neonatal emergency training for nursing students in Korea and to obtain preliminary information to develop a simulation based educational program on neonatal emergency care for nursing students. Methods: Structured questionnaires were distributed to five hospitals and ten nursing schools during April and May, 2012. Data were collected from 59 nurses who worked in the nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care Units and 13 nursing educators who had specialized in pediatric nursing. Results: Most nurses (86.4%) reported that they had experienced an emergency situation with newborns. Most nursing educators (84.6%) claimed that more intensive training with newborns is needed for nursing students. In particular, training in neonatal resuscitation (72.2%), respiratory distress (59.7%), and neonatal seizures (18.1%) were highly recommended as simulation based training for nursing students. Conclusion: A significant need for neonatal emergency educational programs was found. More efforts should be made to provide nursing students with knowledge and skills for working with neonates. The findings of this survey will ultimately provide a basis for developing a simulation based educational program on neonatal emergency care for nursing students.

  • Purpose: The study aimed to examine the effects of disaster nursing simulation training on attitudes toward disaster management, disaster preparedness, learning self-efficacy and nursing practice satisfaction in nursing college students. Methods: The study is based on a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 95 nursing students were recruited from a nursing college. Disaster nursing simulation training for fire and earthquake situations were provided for 8 hours in one day. Results: There were significant differences in nursing students' attitudes toward disaster management (t=2.20, p=.030), disaster preparedness (t=7.88, p<.001), learning self-efficacy (t=3.69, p<.001), and nursing practice satisfaction (t=5.28, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on our findings, it is necessary to implement disaster nursing simulation training to improve disaster nursing competency of college students.

Automated Assessment System for Train Simulators

  • Numerous train operating companies provide training by means of driving simulators. A detailed analysis in the course of the rail research project 2TRAIN has shown that the simulation technology, the purposes of training and the overall concept of simulator-based training are rather diverse (Schmitz & Maag, 2008). A joint factor however are weak assessment capabilities and the fact that the simulator training is often not embedded into the overall competence management. This fact hinders an optimal use of the simulators. Therefore, 2TRAIN aims at the development of enhanced training and assessment tools. Taking into account that several simulators are already in use, the focus lays on the extension of existing simulation technology instead of developing entirely new systems. This extension comprises (1) a common data simulation interface (CDSI), (2) a rule-based expert system (ExSys), (3) a virtual instructor (VI), and (4) an _assessment database (AssDB). The foundation of this technical development is an assessment concept (PERMA concept) that is based on performance markers. The first part of the paper presents this assessment concept and a process model for the two major steps of driver performance assessment, i.e. (1) the specification of exercise and assessment and (2) the assessment algorithm and execution of the assessment. The second part describes the rationale and the functionalities of the simulator add-on tools. Finally, recommendations for further technical improvement and appropriate usage are given. based on the results of a pilot study.

운전자와 현장조업자의 협동훈련을 위한 플랜트 훈련시스템 플랫폼 연구 (A Study on Plant Training System Platform for the Collaboration Training between Operator and Field Workers)

  • Operator Training Simulators (OTSs) provide macroscopic training environment for plant operation. They are equipped with simulation systems for the emulation of remote monitoring and controlling operations. OTSs typically provide 2D block diagram-based graphic user interface (GUI) and connect to process simulation tools. However, process modeling for OTSs is a difficult task. Furthermore, conventional OTSs do not provide real plant field information since they are based on 2D human machine interface (HMI). In order to overcome the limitation of OTSs, we propose a new type of plant training system. This system has the capability required for collaborative training between operators and field workers. In addition, the system provides 3D virtual training environment such that field workers feel like they are in real plant site. For this, we designed system architecture and developed essential functions for the system. For the verification of the proposed system design, we implemented a prototype training system and performed experiments of collaborative training between one operator and two field workers with the prototype system.

마일즈 훈련효과 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Miles Training Effect)

  • 군은 군사훈련을 실전적으로 수행하기 위하여 최신 과학기술을 적용한 마일즈 장비를 활용한 훈련체계를 구축하고 있다. 마일즈 훈련체계는 마일즈 장비를 활용하여 야전에서 실기동 훈련을 실시함으로써 전투 인원과 장비의 피해상황을 실제 전장과 동일하게 모사할 수 있도록 하는 체계이다. 이를 통해 훈련병력은 실전과 유사한 체험을 할 수 있으며 특히, 정보, 통신 및 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 등의 첨단 과학기술을 활용하는 통합체계로 구축되어 훈련에 참가하는 용사들의 훈련효과를 극대화 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 육군에서 활용 중인 마일즈 훈련효과를 과학적 기법을 활용하여 분석하였으며 중대급 마일즈를 대상으로 하였다. 특히 훈련효과를 분석하기 위한 효과지표는 관련 문헌조사 및 전문가 의견수렴을 통해 도출하였으며 Swing기법을 적용하여 효과지표별 가중치를 산출하고 훈련 경험자를 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 결합하여 최종 훈련효과를 도출하였다. 연구결과 마일즈 훈련효과는 기존의 마일즈를 활용하지 않는 훈련에 비해 2.6배 효과적이며 분산분석을 통해 신분별로 마일즈 훈련에 대한 만족도는 높으며 그 차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 도출되었다.
