  • In this study we presented the plans to activate the Internet Shopping Mall for GWmart under its present situation recording a rapid growth in sales and recognized as a local new distribution channel since its early stage, using the analysis that affects the purchases of consumers. On studying the reliance of a shopping mall, only the shopping mall image and the efficiency in providing information are significant. Regarding the concentration on the shopping site by shoppers, what becomes significant are the efficiency in providing information and the convenience in searching for products, which is one of the important factors in increasing sales, does not affect the reliance of a shopping mall and the concentration on the shopping site by shoppers. Therefore, this finding suggests that it is not easy to access the internet shopping mall when consumers go shopping for certain products. Because of this, it is necessary to change the design and structure of internet shopping mall to focus on the consumers. Moreover, this study showed that the efficiency in providing information to customers and the image of the shopping mall do not affect the consumers' intention to purchase, which means that shopping mall lacks in its information service and the management of its structure. To address this, it is required to advance the User Interface and contents of internet shopping mall.

This study identifies the general information about the use of smartphones, attitudes toward fashion applications, and mobile shopping intentions for smartphone users. Focus group interviews were conducted and 22 interviewees participated. The age of the participants ranged from 21 to 45 years old (55% were females). When examining the motivation to adopt a smartphone, respondents presented the comparable characteristics of early adopters and late adopters according to the time of adoption. Most respondents over the age of 30 showed some troubles to use a smartphone; however, participants in their 20s tended to enjoy exploring the new technology. More than half of respondents were aware of fashion applications, but were dissatisfied with fashion apps and used them infrequently. Respondents pointed out that fashion related apps were not too practical because they were not updated regularly, provided only limited information, and focused on brand promotions. In order to increase the intention to adopt mobile shopping, the price and payment security system needs to be considered. This was an exploratory study to identify the possibility of fashion branded apps as a major distribution channel. The findings of this study provide fundamental information to formulate marketing strategies for fashion businesses that have developed fashion apps.

  • Internet commerce has the potential to propel a company to "break out" of existing strategic constraints and radically alter business processes, strengthen customer and supplier ties, and open up new markets. Therefore, many firms have rushed into internet commerce to conduct business more efficiently, create new business opportunities, and generate business value. Since internet shopping mall not only become a valuable channel for selling goods to customers, but also offer companies an important vehicle for attaining competitive advantages in the new digital economy, the design and content of internet shopping mall must reflect its business goals and customers' needs. However, as little empirical evidence on the effect of internet shopping mall contribution of firm performance exist, the functionality of a firm's internet shopping mall has been decided voluntarily from its business experience. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the marketing functional characteristics of internet shopping mall and its performance. 125 questionnaires from internet shopping malls which sell physical goods direct to an individual end consumer were collected. The results showed that some factors(price, product recognition, reliability enhancement) affect positive effects on the performance of internet shopping mall.

  • The present research developed and empirically examined a theoretical model called a Mobile Channel Extension Model for consumer behavior toward mobile commerce. We proposed three antecedents: compatibility of, subjective norm regarding, and media influence regarding mobile use for communication purposes that influence the attitude toward the subjective norm and media influences of mobile use for shopping. These in turn positively influenced the consume's intention to use mobile devices for shopping. A Structural equation modeling analysis, using the data collected from a national online survey of 524 U. S. multichannel shoppers, confirmed the proposed model. The theoretical implications of these effects were discussed and managerial suggestions were made for both academicians and practitioners.

  • Despite the benefits of online shopping, we easily observe consumer behaviour when making purchases through offline channels. Why do they choose to go offline by taking the effort to go there? As a factor influencing decision-making, this study assumes that distrust of online shopping increases webrooming intentions that online consumers move to offline channels. Consumers check online reviews as well as seller information to increase their purchasing confidence. There are few studies on the effect of negative online reviews on consumers' purchasing decisions. Contrary to the pessimistic results of previous studies, the results of this study explain the mechanism by which consumers who saw negative online reviews feel distrust of online shopping and go to offline stores. It provides implications for understanding the migration phenomenon of online shoppers to offline channels and what strategies should be prepared to retain and attract customers to each channel.
