  • Self compacting concrete has the strong point in capability of concrete to be uniformly filled and compacted in every corners of formwork by its self-weight without vibration during placing. However, powder type self compacting concrete has the weak point in the heat of hydration, the drying shrinkage and the elastic property of concrete etc. Recently viscosity agent has been developed in order to overcome these weaknesses. In this study, self compacting concrete is made with viscosity agent based on polysaccharide derivative in order to develope the normal strength self compacting concrete. Slump flow, loss of slump flow and setting time are measured for comparison with normal concrete. Compressive strength, freezing and thawing test and carbonation test are conducted on normal and self compacting concrete using viscosity agent. In the experiment, we acquired good results in fresh and hardened self compacting concrete using viscosity agent based on polysaccharide derivative.

  • This research is the result for studding about the IR Rework station which is using a multi-wave IR-heater for soldering and de-soldering on the substrate such as PCB. This IR repair and reflow system is increasing the temperature on the target area under stable temperature control following setting point melting point of solder and lead free solder using IR-heater. So this system is not giving any therrna1 damage on the target PCB and components even closed components. The soldering and de-soldering quality is evaluated through the actual test.

  • We approximate a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation in a Banach space setting using an inexact two-step Newton-type method. It turn out that under our new idea of recurrent functions, our semilocal analysis provides tighter error bounds than before, and in many interesting cases, weaker sufficient convergence conditions. Applications including the solution of nonlinear Chandrasekhar-type integral equations appearing in radiative transfer and two point boundary value problems are also provided in this study.

  • Motivation models based on the Psychology have contributed to Predict and understand individual behaviors. During the many period, a various type of motivation models have been experimented by the researchers(i.e., need theory that is the first theory in motivation and equity theory, expectancy theory, reinforcement theory, and goal-setting theory centered on cognitive mechanisms). This article's objectives is to analyze motivation models mentioned above in the point of cognitive views (cognitive processes and cognitive mechanisms). Accordingly, the article's structure is consisted of five parts as follows. Part 1. Introduction. Part 2. The theoritical backgrounds of motivation. Part 3. The major theories of motivation. Part 4. The cognitive analysis of motivation theories. Part 5. Conclusion.

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare the basis for a more objective evaluation of oral fluency by analyzing Korean native speaker's utterance. Traditionally, fluency evaluation tended to rely on the evaluators' experience and subjective idea. Therefore, there has been a need of setting the evaluation standard in numeric form that is easily measurable. In this study, I will analyze Korean native speaker's utterance in focus of pause. Total number of 875 pauses were extracted from the 21st Century Sejong Korean spoken corpus, and the elements before and after the pauses were annotated. From the analysis results, the pauses were divided between fluent pauses and influent pauses. If the length of fluent pauses do not exceed reasonable length of pause for native Korean speakers, there was no point reduction. On the other hand, if the influent pauses are made more frequently than the native Korean speakers, then it is subject to point reduction.

  • In this paper, we suggest a combined cost function to find out the optimal operation of an envelope tracking system, and evaluated its performance with Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) waveform, with which envelope tracking coefficients for the peak drain efficiency and the bandwidth of power amplifiers are determined. Based on the classical envelope tracking theory, the operation of the supply modulator, which is a key part of the envelope tracking process, is modeled and analyzed mathematically. Then characteristics of the modulator by setting envelope shaping function as a cubic polynomial and sweeping the coefficients of this function was analyzed. By sweeping the coefficients, efficiency and bandwidth at each condition with 64-QAM signal was used to obtain optimal point of the supply modulator. Compared to the conventional shaping functions, the optimized function showed the bandwidth reduction by 12.7 percent point while the efficiency was maintained.

  • Our purpose in this paper is to introduce the concept of complex valued convex metric spaces and introduce an analogue of the Picard-Ishikawa hybrid iterative scheme, recently proposed by Okeke [24] in this new setting. We approximate (common) fixed points of certain contractive conditions through these two new concepts and obtain several corollaries. We prove that the Picard-Ishikawa hybrid iterative scheme [24] converges faster than all of Mann, Ishikawa and Noor [23] iterative schemes in complex valued convex metric spaces. Also, we give some numerical examples to validate our results.

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce an iterative algorithm for approximating a solution of split equality variational inequality problem for pseudomonotone mappings in the setting of Banach spaces. Under certain conditions, we prove a strong convergence theorem for the iterative scheme produced by the method in real reflexive Banach spaces. The assumption that the mappings are uniformly continuous and sequentially weakly continuous on bounded subsets of Banach spaces are dispensed with. In addition, we present an application of our main results to find solutions of split equality minimum point problems for convex functions in real reflexive Banach spaces. Finally, we provide a numerical example which supports our main result. Our results improve and generalize many of the results in the literature.

  • Presently, along with the advance of high-technology, the precise measurement of linear displacement has become a staple requirement, and consequently the high resolution with submicron order has also been required in precise positioning and carriaging. In this paper, we advance a propose on a new type of laser encoder based on the principle of phase analysis of the moire fringes from superimposed two gratings. The phase angle as an information of displacement can be accurately calculated by detecting the change in brighness at four points of the fringes. The actual application of four point method to the moire fringes is performed thru microcomputer for general purpose, and the measuring procedure is also studied in this research. As an experimental result, in the case of using 20 .mu. m-pitch gratings, it is validated that this method has the resolution of 0.01 .mu. m and the accuracy of .+-. 0.15 .mu. m over the setting range of 100mm.

  • In this paper, we provide certain fixed point results for a generalized 𝛼-nonexpansive mapping, as well as a new iterative algorithm called SRJ-iteration for approximating the fixed point of this class of mappings in the setting of CAT(0) spaces. Furthermore, we establish strong and ∆-convergence theorem for generalized 𝛼-nonexpansive mapping in CAT(0) space. Finally, we present a numerical example to illustrate our main result and then display the efficiency of the proposed algorithm compared to different iterative algorithms in the literature. Our results obtained in this paper improve, extend and unify results of Abbas et al. [10], Thakur et al. [22] and Piri et al. [19].
