  • According to software growth, also software maintenance has been continuously improving. In addition, the existing concept of correct maintenance demands operational management and improvement of service. However, we have various limitation matters to reflect the requirements of service base for maintenance accomplishment. Therefore, we need the study of the service based process for solving such a problem. In this paper, we propose a Service based Software Maintenance Process. Proposed process based on ISO12207 standard for software development and maintenance and compares it with the service based representative standards. In a related works, we study activity of $SM^{MM}$, ITSCMM, ITIL and find out activities to be concerned with and compare it with activity of ISO 12207 and distinguish the maintenance process activity of the service base from maintenance activities. And then, we propose a service management stage. It define four activities and eight artifacts. Finally, we validate the result by comparing the proposed process with a general service operational process.

  • Mobility as a Service is a service conception to achieve the intelligent transportation system. Its aims to improve the travel experience. In one platform, it connects various transportation modes to offer service and users only need to pay in one time for the whole travel. But the single MaaS platform easily faces the problems such as low user traffic, low retention rate and the access to markets of the this service is still unfound. From the perspective of bicycle-sharing, this research makes the MaaS concept into bicycle-sharing to build a better service model. The bicycle-sharing combine with the MaaS concept is innovative in business model, travel model and service architecture. In addition, this research also tests users' expectations for service model. The research shows that MaaS-based bicycle-sharing could offer flexible and convenient travel experience in the aspects of combined transportation, travel, transfer and payment, and it also makes it possible to make travel services according to need, and sustainable transport.

  • The Semantic web service is able to intelligently discover, execute, composite and monitor the Web Service. It constructs the ontology on Web Service and describes the Semantic Markup in the machine-readable form. The currently developing technologies of the Semantic Web Service discovery are DAML-S matchmaker in Carnegie Mellon University, Process Handbook in MIT and etc. In this paper, we propose the ontology language based on Topic Maps that supports the benefits and solves the problems of the Semantic Web Service discovery technologies .

  • There are two standards currently compete for the dominance of IP telephony architecture. Those are H.323 protocol suit by International Telecommunication Union Sector T(ITU-T) and Session Initiation Protocol/Session Description Protocol(SIP/SDP) by International Engineering Task Force(IETF). This paper has been studied a adaption VoIP in home networking, Especially SIP-based call screening service in home gateway. And then this paper has designed SIP-based call screening service in home gateway working protocol, verified them.

A Study on Factors Affecting Chatbot Service Using Intention: Applying Value-based Adoption Model

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate factors affecting Chatbot service acceptance attitude. For wide use of Chatbot service, firms need to find barriers or obstacles for customers, if any, not to use Chatbot service. Research design, data, and methodology - We apply value-based accept model to investigate the quality of Chatbot, to verify the meaning of service value of Chatbot and to find the relationship among variables. To test hypotheses, we conducted survey. We collected 300 questionnaires. SPSS version 2.0 is used. Regression analysis, moderating effect test is conducted. Results - 4 Qualities of Chatbot, Ease of use, Usefulness, Enjoyment, Interaction are affecting acceptance attitude, and 5 service values, only interaction does not affect emotion. Trust, Specialty, Necessity, Social, Emotion moderating Chatbot service to accepting attitude. Regarding moderating effects by personal characteristics and personal tendency, innovation resistance, innovativeness, and social effects are turned to have influence while regulatory focus, construal level does not have moderating force. Also, the auxiliary service like Chatbot service affects customers' evaluation on the main service quality. Conclusions - Service firms adopt Chatbot service for various purposes. The results imply that customers are generally recognize the merits of Chatbot, but there are some barriers such as innovation resistance characteristic especially uncomfortable.

A Hybrid Malfunction Diagnostic System using Rules and Cases (규칙 및 사례기반의 하이브리드 고장진단 시스템)

  • Customer service process is one of the most important processes in today's competitive business environment. Among the various activities of customer service process, equipment malfunction diagnosis activity should be performed fast and accurately. When a customer calls the service center and reports the observed symptoms, he/she describes them in layman's terms. Therefore, the customer-reported symptoms have not been considered helpful information for service representatives. However, in order to perform diagnosis activity fast and accurately, we need to make use of the customer-reported symptoms actively. In this research, we developed three systems called R-EMD (Rule-based Equipment Malfunction Diagnostic system), C-EMD (Case-based Equipment Malfunction Diagnostic system) and R&C-EMD (Rule & Case-based Equipment Malfunction Diagnostic system), each of which diagnoses equipment malfunctions using the customer-reported symptoms. R&C-EMD is a hybrid system that utilizes both rule-based and case-based technologies. The diagnosis rules used in R&C-EMD and R-EMD were not acquired from service manuals or interviews with service representatives. Rater, we extracted them directly from the past diagnosis cases based on symptoms' frequencies. By this way, we were able to overcome the knowledge acquisition bottleneck. Using the real 100 malfunction diagnosis cases, we evaluated the performances of R&C-EMC, R-EMD and C-EMD in terms of speed and accuracy. In diagnosis time, R&C-EMD took longer than R-EMD and shorter than C-EMD. However, R&C-EMC was the best in accuracy.

  • Even though several methodologies for SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) have been proposed, in practical aspects most of them have some problems since they fail to propose specific policies in definition and identification of a service. This paper proposes a service modeling methodology. SOMO(Service Oriented Modeling using Ontology), which draws proper services in the process of defining and identifying services. SOMO defines a service ontology based on service definition and characteristics in SOA. The service drawing process consists of 3 steps : requirement analysis, service identification, and service definition. SOMO is expected to increase the degree of reuse and facilitates the definition and search of services by using service ontology. In addition, it clearly allows the definition and identification of services, satisfying the user requirements.

  • International Roaming is a kind of telecommunication service that enables subscribers use the same mobile number when they go abroad and access other service provider's network. International roaming call is made through three network parts-home (original service provider) network, intermediate network, and local (overseas service provider) network. It is not possible to monitor every section of whole roaming service network because service providers do not provide their network management information to other service providers. The limitation causes harsh problem when a service anomaly arises and operators have to confirm the reason of failure. To solve this problem, we propose a scheme that deduces roaming service status of each overseas service provider using internal network management information. SK telecom implemented a international roaming service management system based on the scheme using performance measurement of signaling points, roaming service nodes, and charging data from existing network management systems.

  • Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) is improving rapidly in IT Environment. Enterprise companies interest in implementation infrastructure based on SOA to adapt quick changes of large and complex distributed environment. SOA is a component model that inter-relates the different functional units of an application, called services, through interfaces and contacts between theses services. In this paper, we studied the concept of the relationship between SOA and standard web service core and therefore, we model the web service based on SOA. We implemented the application and business service architecture using web service that include the XML and SOAP. We confirmed that how the each SOA characters like interoperability, reusability, scalability and flexible business process adapted to web service and present a web service modeling that is maintained the neutrality using loose service coupling through the method of service model process and web service architecture designing methodology based on SOA.

  • The prevalence of diabetes and its related morbidity and mortality are being increased. Despite the advancement of evidence-based pharmacotherapy in the management of diabetes, many patients in our country do not achieve satisfied therapeutic outcomes. Pharmaceutical care service can be defined as a patient-centered clinical service provided by pharmacists to improve therapeutic outcomes and quality of life of patients, by identifying, and preventing or resolving drug-related problems (DRPs). Pharmaceutical care service is interdisciplinary team-based practice, and is provided through collaborative practice agreement (CPA) between one or more physicians and pharmacists. This article describes a model of pharmaceutical care service which can be adopted in our country for patients with diabetes in the ambulatory care settings. With the successful implementation of this service, clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes of patients will be improved. Therefore, by actively implementing pharmaceutical care service, pharmacist should contribute to the promotion of patients' health and to the advancement of health care delivery system.
