The Effect of Product Knowledge and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction

  • Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is one of several activators that drives the economy of Indonesia because SMEs provide jobs, increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and assure the delivery of products and services. However, Indonesian SMEs are not very competitive in the industrial world, and one of the causes is the low quality of products that undermine customer satisfaction. There are several factors presumed as influencing customer satisfaction, which among others include product knowledge, service quality, and competitive advantage. The objective of this research is to reveal the contribution of product knowledge and service quality to customer satisfaction with competitive advantage as the mediation variable. This research used a quantitative approach. The causal relationship across variables was examined with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The sample of this research involved 140 respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire and the items in the questionnaire were processed with a software called SmartPLS version 3.3.2. Results of this research indicate (1) product knowledge and service quality can increase competitive advantage and customer satisfaction in East Java SMEs; (2) competitive advantage can act as a mediator in the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction (3) product knowledge can increase customer satisfaction but the increase is not significant statistically.

Sharing Economy: Effect of Shared Kitchen Service Quality on Experiential Value, Relational Commitment and Long-Term Orientation

  • Purpose: As the shared kitchen sector evolves into a new trend in the restaurant industry, not only operational support but also the physical environment for services is ranked as an important success factors. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to study the effect of shared kitchen service quality on experiential value, relational commitment, and long-term orientation. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, a questionnaire was used to verify the structural relationship between shared kitchen service quality, experiential value, relational commitment, and long-term orientation for tenant companies in shared kitchen companies. The data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Result: Facilities and support for the service quality of the shared kitchen had a positive (+) effect on the experiential value, and the environment did not. In addition, experiential value showed a significant positive (+) effect on relationship commitment and long-term orientation, and relationship commitment showed a significant positive (+) effect on long-term orientation. Conclusions: It was confirmed that the support quality among service quality affects the relationship formation. Thus, attention should be paid to activities to support stable business activities from the perspective of B2B services.

클라우드 서비스를 활용한 디지털무역 사용자의 혁신저항에 관한 연구 (A Study on Innovation Resistance of Digital Trade Based On Cloud Services)

  • Purpose - Digital trade, which started in the early 2000s, is showing a sharp increase due to the recent pandemic. However, despite this proliferation, users' acceptance of innovation is very slow. Cloud services are at the center of digital trade activation. This study aims to contribute to the spread of digital trade through empirical analysis of the resistance factors that hinder the use of cloud service-based digital trade using the innovation resistance theory and the status quo bias theory. Design/Methodology/Approach - In order to achieve the research purpose, this study was conducted with 171 entrepreneurs using cloud service-based digital trade. Structural equation model(SEM) was used through empirical analysis. Findings - As a result of the study, it was found that the complexity of technology, perceived risk, compatibility, and trust in service providers had a significant effect on innovation resistance, and policy trust did not affect innovation resistance. Also, security concerns and institutional trust were analyzed to have a significant effect on the trust of service providers. Research Implications - This study is meaningful to help the rapid diffusion of innovative technologies through empirical analysis of factors that lower the intention to accept cloud service-based digital trade.

  • 주요 선진국들은 서비스산업이 GDP에 차지하는 비중이 70%를 넘어서는 서비스 중심의 경제구조를 갖게 되었다. 일반적인 예견과 달리 서비스경제에서도 사람들의 활동에 의해 배출되는 이산화탄소(carbon dioxide)와 다른 환경오염물질의 배출이 심각한 문제가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지구온난화의 문제점과 녹색성장에 대해서 살펴보고 서비스 산업에서 발생하고 있는 환경문제를 서비스 프로세스 매트릭스를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 또한 환경문제를 해결하기위해 서비스기업에서 사용하고 있는 환경전략과 정보기술의 역할에 대해 살펴보며 세계 1위의 물류회사인 United Parcel Service Inc.의 사례 연구를 통해 환경과 지속가능경영에 대해서 토의한다.

서비스연구의 프레임워크 제안 (A Suggestion on the New Service Research Framework)

  • 서비스의 역사는 오래지만, 서비스연구의 역사는 길지 않다. 서비스기업이 증가하면서 1970년대부터 서비스마케팅 등의 학문이 활성화되었고, 21세기 들어 서비스경제가 본격 도래하면서 서비스사이언스로 확장되었다. 본 연구는 본질적인 차원에서 서비스 관련 연구를 종합적으로 리뷰하고 서비스연구의 프레임워크를 제안한다. 새로운 학제적인 융합학문으로서 서비스학이 정립되고, 이를 통해 서비스산업이 발전되고, 그리고 서비스학이 활성화되는 선순환 구조가 정착될 수 있도록 그 기본 프레임워크를 제시한다. 먼저 서비스연구의 발전 과정을 시간축으로 분석하고, 기존의 서비스 관련 연구 프레임워크를 조사하였다. 아울러 서비스연구의 주요 주제들을 프레임워크의 세부 구성 요소 차원에서 검토하였다. 기존 연구 주제들 및 초안 프레임워크들이 각 시대의 필요성을 반영하고 있지만, 서비스학에 대한 포괄적인 접근은 부족하였으므로, 서비스학의 본질에 중심을 둔 서비스연구 프레임워크를 제시하였다. 즉, 서비스본질 연구, 서비스기능 및 시스템연구, 서비스인 연구, 서비스기업 및 경영연구, 서비스산업 및 경제연구 등 다섯 개의 연구부문으로 구성되는 서비스연구 프레임워크가 제안되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 학제적인 신학문으로서 서비스학의 프레임워크를 정립하고, 서비스산업의 경쟁력을 강화하는데 학계가 기여해야할 주요 분야를 발굴하는데 유용할 것이다. 향후 보다 본질에 충실하면서도, 실용 학문으로서의 서비스학의 발전에 기여하는 후속 연구들이 필요하다.

지역사회서비스 네트워크 모형 개발을 위한 실태조사 - 농촌건강장수마을을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Actual Condition of Community-Oriented Services, Focusing on Senior Well-Being Villages)

  • This study conducted research on the actual state of community-oriented services for elderly rural inhabitants and their desire related to them to develop a local community service network model suitable to the characteristics of rural longevity villages. The research was conducted on 906 elderly people over 65 living in 20 rural longevity villages through questionnaires assessing filming and economy, economic activity, health care, learning and leisure activities as well as asking their wants and needs relative to local community services. As a result, it was found rural elderly people showed a high desire for local community services such as health, transportation and economy activity. In addition, they were mainly cultivating farm products as their economic activity and showed a high demand in the future as well. Most were found to take a walk in the healthcare field and showed a high demand for health examinations, health education, health consulting, hot spring bathing and basking in the woods. Respecting learning, social and leisure activities, they were mostly found to watch TV and do house chores, and showed a high desire for village environment repair, traditional farm music, visiting and tourism. With the above results, it is expected that the desire of rural elderly for such services can be satisfied, and the development of a local community service network model suitable to the characteristic of a local community is recommended.

중국의 농민 소질과 농촌인력자원의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality of Farmers and Characters of Rural Human Resources in China)

  • The objectives of this study were finding out some methods about development of oversea agriculture in Korea. It is a tough task that faces us now. China is a big agricultural country, most agricultural investment country and the nearest located in Korea. So this study researches on the quality of farmers and characters of rural human resources in China. In China, agriculture industry is the basic industry among national economy developments. The majority of populations in China are living in rural region. Agriculture, villages and farmers are main issues in China. From this point, An analysis of Chinese farmers' characters and qualities; general conditions of farmers' knowledge of science and technology, their education level, quality of minds and sprit, and rural public health service situation in China. The result of this study is following; First, Chinese farmers' factors that low education level, big cultural differences between cities and country sides affect the development of China's agriculture as obstruction factors. Second, Practice conditions of farmers' science knowledge and technology are low level, output of higher rural human resources, low quality of minds and sprit and problems of agricultural extension service. It is negative influenced of agriculture and farmers economic development in China. Third, unsociable culture of the peasantry influences Chinese farming in the negative ways. Also, conventional notions of family are getting weaker, it makes connection of the kinship weaken. But, Chinese think that this kind of kinship is the most important thing in their life. Fourth, in the case of situations that the farmer's sanitation and health, low level of the medical service is getting worse than before relatively. And there are a lot of discordances between a planned childbirth policy and personal recognitions. Also, lacking of nourishment makes labor productivity falling tendencies. The medical industry falls short of the standard as compared to the number of farming people. Fifth, in the peasantry's consciousness of the legal system, this causes difficulties to farmers in the market. Shortage of the legal knowledge exerts a bad influence upon rural economy.

지식경제사이버안전센터의 대응활동분석과 개선방안 (Services analysis and improvement of MKE(Ministry of Knowledge Economy) Cyber Security Center)

  • 최근 사이버 테러는 국가와 민간을 넘나들며 그 경계가 제한되지 않고 있으며, 현대전의 양상은 사이버 공격을 활용하여 관련 정보를 유출하고 그 정보를 악의적으로 이용하여 국가 및 기업에 치명적인 피해를 끼치고 있다. 이에 정부는 2008년 7월 25일부터 지식경제부 산하 공공기관의 보안과 사고예방을 위하여 지식경제사이버안전센터를 운영하고 있다. 지식경제사이버안전센터는 보안관제센터로서 사이버공격 정보를 탐지 분석하여 즉시 대응 조치를 수행하고, 수집 탐지한 정보를 국가 사이버안전센터 및 회원기관과 공유한다. 또한 정보공유분석센터(ISAC, Information Sharing & Analysis Center)로서 전자적 제어 관리시스템을 포함한 주요정보통신기반시설에 대한 취약점분석 및 평가를 실시하고, 침해사고대응센터(CERT/CC, Computer Emergency Response Team/Coordination Center)로서 보안사고 예방활동 및 보안사고 대응서비스를 수행하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 나날이 그 역할이 커지고 있는 지식경제사이버안전센터의 설립 목적 및 역할, 수행업무에 대한 서비스를 분석하고 문제점을 파악한 후에 개선 방안을 제시한다.

  • The importance of contents industry is growing up in various industries because of internet and digital economy. Recently, contents industry is challenging to new businesses such as total service industry with digital contents. It is important to classify digital contents to use it in contents industries and information and telecommunication service industries. Previous contents classification frameworks is based on contents quality, business model and application methods. They didn't consider business processes, interfaces of business unit and interactions in contents industries. In this paper, we present core business processes in digital contents industries, a corresponding digital contents classification, and analysis method of digital contents industry.

중국 관료제의 특징과 시사점 - 경찰 공무원제도를 중심으로 (The Vision and It's lesson of the Bureaucracy in China - With Emphasis on the Police Civil Service System)

  • China is an ancient country that has one of the oldest civilizations on earth. Since the end of 1970s, China has made her administrative and economic reform and opening up to the outside world. Now the administrative and economic reforms has scored great success with a series of important accomplishments. China's peculiar political economy largely explained the changing reform initiatives over times. The problems confronting Chinese officials are markedly different from the West despite the fact the China and the West have engaged their efforts in undertaking administrative reforms in the last two decades or so. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bureaucracy, especially the police civil service system in China. Core features of the institution of China's civil servant system is discussed in this study.
