In this paper we study the initial value problem of the non-relativistic Vlasov-Darwin system with generalized variables (VDG). We first prove local existence and uniqueness of a nonnegative classical solution to VDG in three space variables, and establish the blow-up criterion. Then we show that it converges to the well-known Vlasov-Poisson system when the light velocity c tends to infinity in a pointwise sense.

This paper gropes how to connect philosophy of household management(PHM) to real life. PHM is to think and to act for better quality of life, so PHM should contain not only theory but also practice in itself. In that sense, PHM is consist of two parts: one is viewpoints how to deal with home management and the other is practice. This paper presents 5 main viewpoints of PHM. Then, it explains PHM can connect with education of human nature, and ecological value in PHM can connect with practice of life. Also, it proposes a guide for practice.

We consider the problem of estimating the scale and shape parameter of the Weibull distribution based on censored samples. we propose the approximate maximum likelihood estimators (AMLEs) of the scale and shape parameters in the Weibull distribution based on Type-II censored samples. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of mean squared error (MSE).

Recently, the FPD industry has faced the limit in market growth due to lack of new growth engine as a replacement of television. With sluggish market demand deepened by global economic crisis and persistent concern over panel oversupply, growth of the panel market has sharply slowed down, and profitability has been eroded. This also has tremendous effect on related industries including component, material and machine industries, spreading a sense of crisis across the whole FPD industry. Under this circumstance, for the FPD industry to take off once again, all involved in the FPD industry must cooperate and come up with innovative ideas, and identify the driving force to realize turbo-charged growth.

In this paper, we establish new integral inequalities via Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals and Katugampola fractional integrals for the class of functions whose derivatives in absolute value are exponentially convex functions and exponentially s-convex functions in the second sense.

The study is based on Tong Kuk Yuk Tae Chong Mok that Hong, Man-Jong, a writer of the later Cho-Sun dynasty, wrote in the style of chronicle in 1705. Tong kuk Yuk Tae Chong Mok, different from the former history book, described briefly the whole history in the autonomous view from king Tan-Kun to king sun-Jong, the Cho-sun dynasty. There for the author appraises the sense and value of Tong kuk Yuk Tae Chong Mok, by surveying the publishing background, bibliographic analysis, descriptive method, and cited book on Tong kuk Yuk Tae Chong Mok.

This research aims here to develop a certain extended double sampling plan, EDS, which is an extension of ordinary double sampling plan in the sense that the second-stage sampling effort and second-stage critical value are allowed to depend on the point at which the first-stage continuation region is traversed. For purpose of comparison, single sampling plan, optimal ordinary double sampling plan(ODS) and sequential probability ratio test are considered with the same overall error rates, respectively. It is observed that the EDS idea allows less sampling effort than the optimal ODS.

Since the mid 1980s, the concept of logistics has become more important to the enterprises in strategic sense because it had aggrandized itself to more comprehensive and integrative concept. Therefore study on the service organization of the logistics system for customer’s satisfaction from the management’s point has been focused as one of the major subject in order to improve the logistics quality which would ultimately increase the value of logistics service. This study has been focused on what the port logistics functions and the factors of the port logistics quality are those Korean port managers acknowledge as important factor. And examins these port logistics quality levels and the port logistics value (port productivity, service results) obtained by the results of these activities while reviewing the relation of the custom value which the port managers evaluate in order to evaluate and promote the competitiveness of the Korean port. According to the study results the port logistics function which the Pusan Container Terminal managers recognized as important were customer service management the flexibility of the port facilities and curtailment of the original operation cost of the port. It also indicated that the managers recognized the importance of the customer-oriented terminal management as it showed a close relationship with the port quality level.

The purpose of this study is to analyze environment-friendly consumption behaviors and consumption value of adolescent consumers, and to analyze the effects of environmental knowledge, environment and experience, perception of environment, the awareness of consumption and environmental pollution, and consumption value on environment-friendly consumption behaviors of them. The data were collected by 999 adolescent consumers in Jeju Province. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s multiple range test using SPSS 12.0 Program . The results are as follows. Economy had the most cause and effect influence on environment-friendly purchasing behaviors, followed by experience of environmental activities, eco-friendliness, esthetic sense, enjoyment, and awareness of consumption and environmental pollution. Regarding the environmentfriendly consumer behavior, economy is the most influential factor, followed by eco-friendliness, awareness of consumption and environmental pollution, experience of environmental activities, environmental knowledge and monthly average allowance. Eco-friendliness had the most cause and effect influence on environment-friendly disposal behavior, followed by awareness of consumption and environmental pollution, economy and experience of environmental activities.
