This paper discusses the independent seminar as one of the appropriate courses, in particular, for the students who study English literature in the doctoral program. Those who take the Ph.D. program in English literature are considered as future scholars or teachers. In taking the coursework, they not only delve into the knowledge of literature, but also begin to establish broader and deeper senses of research ability. The independent seminar class helps them build such senses through the way in which they experience to the development of the syllabus by themselves. Furthermore, in contrast to a regular class, in which a group of students learn in a classroom, the independent seminar gives each student intensive interactions with his/her professor through the out-of-classroom circumstances, since the seminar is based upon one-on-one study between the student and the professor.

For a long time, traditional culture has been regarded as one of the sources of the inspiration, method and language of Chinese writing. In this article, we studied the medium- and long-term impact of a traditional Chinese culture seminar attended by college students on the output of creative writing. The seminar included traditional Chinese philosophy, history, literature, art, etc. It spanned three years (22 months) and held lectures lasting for approximately two hours once a week. The subjects of the prospective cohort study included 130 first-year college students who participated in the seminar and 130 controls. From September 2016 to June 2018, 72 lectures were held. We measured the creative writing output from the first lecture (September 2016) to December 2021 (64 months in total), including novels, essays, poems, and plays. Two indicators, the total number of words (TNW) and the quality of yield (QY), were evaluated by a 15-member panel. Although the TNW and QY of the participants and their controls were similar before the seminar, we found that the participants have higher TNW and QY than the controls after participating in the seminar. The difference in TNW became significant after month 51 (p<0.05), and the difference in QY became significant after month 46 (p<0.05). After these dates, the differences stabilized. In addition, text analysis indicates that by month 64, traditional cultural elements in the works of the participating group had a higher frequency (p<0.001). The research shows that the traditional culture seminar not only enhanced the yield of college students' creative writing but also improved the quality of their work. The traditional cultural elements enriched the works of the seminar participants.

The college of education should support pre-service teachers to learn knowledge of their major and develop the ability of presenting or teaching the knowledge. The pre-service teachers may have many opportunities of presentations to develop the ability of teaching. Some college of education provide such opportunities in the 'seminar' course. In this study we investigated the pre-service teachers' perceptions on the seminar where they present contents of their major, developed the framework to analyze and evaluated the seminar presentation ability, and explored the change of presentation ability through a case study. Pre-service teachers perceived that from the seminar they could develop the presentation skill and understand the scientific contents more deeply. However they pointed out the difficulty of understanding others' presentations, discussing on the contents and interpreting the English paper. We developed the presentation analysis framework including the evaluation elements, the evaluation items, and the evaluation methods according to the progress of a seminar presentation. Using this framework we evaluated and compared the development of seminar presentation ability of a per-service teacher both quantitatively and qualitatively. We discussed the educational implication of this study such as the suggestion for the effective management of a seminar and the usage of the presentation analysis framework.

In the present, as standards has been considered as a strategic method, the numerous conferences and seminars related to standards have been held. The limitation, however, of time and space and the absence of the associated schedule information prevents people who need information from them horn participating in the all seminars and conferences in which they want to take part. furthermore after having attended there, it is difficult to obtain the well-structured information about the seminar or conference, unless he or she meet the authorities concerned or the person who presided a particular seminar or conference, and in the case of a large-sized seminar, there is the problem that he or she present himself at a place cant participate in the other seminar or conference at the same time. To resolve these problems, we want to implement Virtual Seminar Service System on Web in order to provide moving picture including data related to standards with the public regardless of time and space. This paper describes the related based-technologies to develop web-based virtual seminar service system also including the basic design and the result of implementation.

Furniture should change according to space. Therefore, it is important that the flexibility of the furniture, the functional efficiency, the economical efficiency and the convenience of the furniture of today. These characteristics are also important for seminar tables that are used temporarily by a large number of people. The seminar furniture currently in use has no shielding plate, there are two forms of table and shielding plate folding table. Therefore, in this research, furniture design and product development that can complement the shortcomings of the seminar furniture currently in use were done. Analysis of problems through overseas investigation and domestic market research, design planning and design, and prototyping. We have sought to optimize the volume by applying the characteristics of RTA furniture to develop a lightweight, lightweight, lightweight, easy to install and easy to use shielding plate, and open and closed system. Basically developed two types of shielding board seminar table basic shape and Roll Screen type, we expanded the scope of application such as each color and pattern. In order to reduce the weight, we replaced the parts such as anchor bolts and hinges and the shielding plate with Roll Screen and pursued volume optimization. As a result of this research, it is expected that the system of mechanisms such as packaging standardization and damage prevention for weight reduction and volume optimization will contribute to building competitiveness by domestic office prefabricated furniture industry's original technology.

Currently, with the development of web 2.0 knowledge sharing system became more and more important. In this paper, we proposed and implemented seminar assistant system using database system and knowledge sharing system on public seminar. We recorded speaker's voice and presentation files on our system and user can review past talks on our seminar review systems. Our database system is implemented using MS SQL, and Input/Output Completion Port(IOCP) socket model as our server side network module. Also we used presentation software using Direct Show with MFC and Windows Presentation Foundation(WPF). and our review system is based on WFP programmed with C# language.

This paper is focused on the medical CRM system design for a hospital custom management. CRM systems provides information and seminars to whom are necessity. For this, priority retrieval and similarity retrieval are able to be in the personnel order and the regional. The customer receives the message which sends out from the hospital, The hospital manages the message which reveals a participation intention in the seminar at real-time. The hospital grasps the participation degree of the seminar where the customer will participate and manages the patients who participate to the seminar actively, and when the next seminar will be hold, we designed the system able to provide the service as early as possible.
