본 연구에서는 객체 지향 소스 코드의 검색과 재사용을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 의미망을 구축하였다. 이를 위하여 각 노드 간 객체지향 상속의 개념을 표현할 수 있도록 의미망의 초기 관련값을 시소러스로 구축하였다. 또한, 의미망의 노드와 간선을 활성화시키고 활성값을 전파 시키기 위해 사용되는 spreading activation 방법의 단점을 보완하여 spreading activation의 성능은 최대한 유지하면서 검색 속도를 향상 시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

To effectively deal with video data, a semantic-based retrieval scheme that allows for processing diverse user queries and saving them on the database is required. In this regard, this paper proposes a semantic-based video retrieval system that allows the user to search diverse meanings of video data for electrical safetyrelated educational purposes by means of automatic annotation processing. If the user inputs a keyword to search video data for electrical safety-related educational purposes, the mobile agent of the proposed system extracts the features of the video data that are afterwards learned in a continuous manner, and detailed information on electrical safety education is saved on the database. The proposed system is designed to enhance video data retrieval efficiency for electrical safety-related educational purposes.

The information available on the Internet has become widely used, primarily due to the ability of Web based E-Commerce and M-Commerce Retrieval Engines to find useful information for users. However, present day Commerce Retrieval Engines are far from perfect because they return results based on simple user keyword matches without any regard for the concepts in which the user is interested. In this thesis, we design and evaluate a Recommender system for web context aware based information retrieval using user profiles. Also, we designed personalization framework in ubiquitous environment based both e-commerce and m-commerce and presented the interaction of user profile including User XQuery pattern in semantic web.

본 논문에는 일반문서를 대상으로 하여 그 문사를 하이퍼텍스트(hypertext)로 자동변환하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 자동변환의 과정은 대상 문서에서 키워드(keyword)의 인식, 문서를 노드(node) 단위로 분리, 키워드로부터 노드로의 링크(ink) 생성의 3 단계로 이루어 진다. 기존의 연구에서는 문서에서 노드를 분리하는데 구문적 유사도만을 이용하는데, 본 논문에서는 양질의 하이퍼텍스트를 생성하기 위하여 구문적 유사도(syntactic similarity)뿐만 아니라 의미적 유사도(semantic similarity)를 사용한다. 구문적 유사도는 tf*idf와 벡터 곱(vector product)을 이용하고, 의미적 유사도는 시소러스(thesaurus)와 부분부합(partial match)을 이용하여 계산되어 진다. 또 링크 생성시 잘못된 링크의 생성을 막기 위하여 시소러스를 이용하여 시소러스에 존재하는 용어에 한해서 링크를 생성한다.

최근 멀티미디어 정보 시스템의 발전으로 저차원적 내용 기반 이미지 색인$\cdot$검색 방법에서 의미론적 개념기반 색인$\cdot$검색에 대한 연구로 바뀌어져가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 주석기반 이미지 검색에서 개념적 이질성을 극복하기 위해 온톨로지 이론의 적용에 대하여 분석하며, 또한 개념적 이질성 극복방안에 따른 온톨로지 적용 시 발생하는 문제점을 해결하고자 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 시각데이터에서 개념적 이질성을 극복하기 위해 새로운 도메인 온톨로지를 도입하고 온톨로지 적용 시 문제점들을 해결한다. 실험 결과, 기존의 대형 온톨로지의 하나인 WordNet을 사용한 것보다 단어들 간의 의미적 거리가 상당히 가까워짐에 따라 개념적 이질성을 극복할 수 있었다. 또한 도메인 온톨로지를 적용하여 주석기반 이미지 검색 시 대형 온톨로지가 가지고 있던 문제점을 해소하여 좀더 의미적 이미지 검색이 가능함을 보이고 있다.

시맨틱 웹은 정보검색과 웹 기반 시스템 분야의 새로운 추세이다. 본 논문은 시맨틱 점과 온톨로지를 이용하여 점 문서의 변경을 자동으로 사용자에게 알려주는 웹 변경 탐지 시스템의 개발에 관한 것이다. 기존의 웹 변경 탐지 시스템은 구문(syntax) 변화 중심의 변경 탐지인 반면 본 시스템은 의미(semantic) 변화 중심의 변경 탐지에 목표를 둔다. 즉 의미에 변화가 있는 경우만 찾아 알려주어 사용자에게 유용한 정보를 제공한다. 또한 특정 도메인에 중심이 된 변경 사항을 가정하여 사용자가 목표 사이트를 일일이 지정하지 않아도 변경 탐지가 가능하게 하였다. 이를 위하여 특정 도메인을 가정한(컴퓨터 관련 인물 정보) 온톨로지를 구축하고 점 페이지를 이 온톨로지에 따라 변환한 다음 변경 전 페이지와 변경후 페이지를 비교하는 방법을 사용하였다. 실험 결과는 구문 중심의 변경 탐지에 비해 의미 중심의 변경 탐지가 더 유용함을 보인다.

This paper describes a GIS framework for geo-semantic information retrieval in mobile computing environments. We built geographic ontologies of POI (point of interest) and weather information for use in the combination of semantic, spatial, and temporal functions in a fully integrated database. We also implemented a geo-semantic app for Android-based smartphones that can extract more appropriate POIs in terms of user contexts and geographic ontologies and can visualize the POIs using Google Maps API (application programming interface). The feasibility tests showed our geo-semantic app can provide pertinent POI information according to mobile user contexts such as location, time, schedule, and weather. We can discover a baking CVS (convenience store) in the test of bakery search and can find out a drive-in theater for a not rainy day, which are good examples of the geo-semantic query using semantic, spatial, and temporal functions. As future work, we should need ontology-based inference systems and the LOD (linked open data) of various ontologies for more advanced sharing of geographic knowledge.

Text-based image retrieval is not only cumbersome as it requires the manual input of keywords by the user, but is also limited in the semantic approach of keywords. However, content-based image retrieval enables visual processing by a computer to solve the problems of text retrieval more fundamentally. Vision applications such as extraction and mapping of image characteristics, require the processing of a large amount of data in a mobile environment, rendering efficient power consumption difficult. Hence, an effective image retrieval method on mobile platforms is proposed herein. To provide the visual meaning of keywords to be inserted into images, the efficiency of image retrieval is improved by extracting keywords of exchangeable image file format metadata from images retrieved through a content-based similar image retrieval method and then adding automatic keywords to images captured on mobile devices. Additionally, users can manually add or modify keywords to the image metadata.

시맨틱 웹 기반의 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 특정 도메인 지식에 대한 명시적인 명세화 및 지식의 개념과 개념과의 관계를 정형화하는 온톨로지를 통해서 이루어진다. 그러므로 특정 도메인 지식의 명세화와 정형화를 위해서는 관심 있는 도메인내의 지식을 개념화하는 온톨로지의 생성이 필수적이다. 이 논문에서는 택배 마케팅의 잠재 고객에 대한 정보를 검색하기 위해, 시맨틱 웹 기반의 온톨로지 생성을 위한 구체적인 도메인을 설계하고, 생성된 온톨로지를 이용하는 정보 검색 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 온톨로지를 기반으로 고객의 정보를 수집하는 데이터 검색 로봇을 구현 하였다. 아울러 온톨로지의 생성과 데이터 검색 로봇이 데이터 검색을 정확하게 수행함을 확인 하였다.

본 연구는 인출 연습 범주 내 비 인출 연습 항목의 지각적, 정서적, 의미적 구별성이 인출 유도 망각(retrieval induced forgetting; RIF)에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 실험 1은 인출 유도 망각 실험 패러다임에 적합한 범주와 범주 내 항목을 구성하고, 인출 연습 범주 내 비 인출 연습 항목의 지각적 구별성이 인출 유도 망각에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 6개의 범주와 각 범주 당 6개의 단어들로 이루어진 목록이 사용되었다. 통제조건에서는 지시문을 포함하여 범주명과 범주 내 항목 등 모든 자극이 고딕체의 검은색으로 제시었다. 반면 지각적 구별성 조건에서는 지시문과 범주명, 범주 내 항목의 절반은 검은색 고딕체로 제시되었고, 나머지 범주 내 항목의 절반은 붉은색의 궁서체로 제시되었다. 그 결과 통제집단 뿐만 아니라 지각적 구별성 조건 모두 인출 유도 망각이 관찰되었다. 실험 2는 부적정서의 구별성과 의미적 구별성이 인출 유도 망각에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 부적정서의 구별성은 범주 내 항목의 절반에 부적 형용사를 덧붙이는 방식으로 조작되었다. 의미적 구별성은 범주 내 항목의 절반에 의미적으로 특이한 형용사를 덧붙이는 방식으로 조작되었다. 중성 조건은 모든 범주 내 항목에 중성적인 형용사를 덧붙이는 방식으로 조작되었다. 그 결과 중성 조건에서는 인출유도망각이 발생된 반면 부적정서 구별성 조건과 의미적 구별성 조건 모두 인출 유도 망각이 발생되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 구별성이 범주와 범주 내 항목간의 연합관계 안에서 작용될 때만 인출 유도 망각이 발생되지 않을 가능성을 제안한다.
