고등학생의 건강증진행위 정도와 관련요인 (High School Students' Degree Conducting on Health Promoting Behavior and Related Factors)

  • The purpose of the study is to identify the correlation between the degree of conducts on health promoting behaviors and the related factors. 1112 academic high school students were taken for this study by self-administered questionnaire surveys from Nov. 10. 1998 to Dec. 15, 1998 in the city of Taegu. As to female students, the better grades and mother's educational backgrounds they possessed, the higher scores in health promoting behavior were(p〈0.01), the better grades, the higher in self-efficacy(p〈0.01), the better grades and mother's educational backgrounds, the higher self-respect(p〈0.05), and when the family number were 3 to 5 the highest score was. In case of male students, from the above results, economic status, self efficacy, self-respect, and perceived health status are presented as the crucial factors on health promoting behavior meaning the better economic status, self-efficacy, self-respect, and perceived health status, the higher degree of conducting health promoting behavior. It picked mother's educational background, self-efficacy, self-respect, and perceived health status as the essential on female students, it indicating the better mothers' educational background, self efficacy, self respect, and perceived health status, the higher degree of conducting health promoting behavior. On the results of this study, I would like to suggest that we will have to conduct not only health education for health promoting behavior but also promoting programs for self-efficacy and self-respect at the same time in order to enhance the degree of conducting health promoting behavior for high school Students.

대학생의 자기존중감, 학업적 자기효능감, 진로성숙도가 대학생활적응과 학업지속의향에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-Respect, Academic Self-Efficacy, and Career Maturity on Student Adaptation to College and Learning Persistence)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of self-respect, academic self-efficacy, and career maturity on student adaptation to college and learning persistence. For this study, a web survey was conducted on the students who were in college of engineering at D college in Seoul. A total of 702 samples were analyzed for this research. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, all variables (self-respect, academic self-efficacy, career maturity) had positive effects on student adaptation to college significantly. Secondly, self-respect and academic self-efficacy had positive effects on learning persistence except career maturity. Thridly, the mediation analyses revealed that the relations between learning persistence and self-respect, academic self-efficacy, and career maturity were partially mediated by student adaptation to college. Finally, student adaptation to college had also positive effects on learning persistence. The results indicate a need to enhance student adaptation to college and design programs that support learning persistence for university students.

  • The purpose or this study was to investigate the effects of children's internal (age, sex, self-respect) and external (maternal belief, childrearing behavior) variables on self-regulation. The subjects were 2004-and-5-year-olds, their mothers, and teachers. Children's age, sex, and self-respect had m influence on self-regulation; that is 5-year-olds were higher than 4-year-olds for behavioral self-regulation, girls were higher than boys for cognitive and behavioral self-regulation, and the high self-respect group was higher than the low self-respect group for cognitive self-regulation. The psychological controlling and externally directed strategies had a negative influence on children's self-regulation. Maternal affectionate childrearing behavior had an influence on children's self-regulation; that is the high affectionate group had children with higher self-regulation.

SIMPLE APPROACH TO MULTIFRACTAL SPECTRUM OF A SELF-SIMILAR CANTOR SET

  • We study the transformed measures with respect to the real parameters of a self-similar measure on a self-similar Can­tor set to give a simple proof for some result of its multifractal spectrum. A transformed measure with respect to a real parameter of a self-similar measure on a self-similar Cantor set is also a self­similar measure on the self-similar Cantor set and it gives a better information for multifractals than the original self-similar measure. A transformed measure with respect to an optimal parameter deter­mines Hausdorff and packing dimensions of a set of the points which has same local dimension for a self-similar measure. We compute the values of the transformed measures with respect to the real parameters for a set of the points which has same local dimension for a self-similar measure. Finally we investigate the magnitude of the local dimensions of a self-similar measure and give some correlation between the local dimensions.

잠재성장모형을 이용한 청소년의 비공식 낙인이 자아존중감, 불안우울, 공격성에 미치는 영향 분석 (The impact of informal labeling on self-respect, depression/anxiety, and aggression of adolescents using latent growth model)

  • Objective: This study examined the change of informal labeling self-respect, depression/anxiety, and aggression of adolescents over time and relationship between the intercept and the growth of the variables. Method: 4-year longitudinal panel data(n=2,699), Korea Youth Panel Survey (KYPS), were analyzed to verify the influence of informal labeling on self-respect, depression/anxiety, and aggression of adolescents. Through latent growth modeling, temporal change of the variables was examined. Results: Analytic results are as follow. First, the initial status of informal labeling had a negative impact on the initial status of self-respect. The slope of informal labeling also had a negative impact on the slope of self-respect. In contrast, the initial status of informal labeling did not have an significant impact on the slope of self-respect. Second, the initial status of informal labeling had a positive impact on the initial status of aggression. The slope of informal labeling had a negative impact on the slope of aggression. In contrast, the initial status of informal labeling did not have an significant impact on the slope of aggression. Third, the initial status of informal labeling had a positive impact on the initial status of depression/anxiety and a negative impact on the slope of depression/anxiety. The slope of informal labeling had a positive impact on the slope of self-respect. Conclusions: The results suggest the importance of informal labeling on self-respect, depression/anxiety, and aggression of adolescents.

인문계 남녀고등학생의 스트레스 인지, 자아존중감, 스트레스 반응간의 관계 연구 (A Study of the Relationship between Perceived Stress, Self Respect & Stress Response in High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between perceived stress. self respect & stress response of high school students to provide the basic data for nursing intervention programs in order to manage stress in students. The subject of this study was 279 students (male; 179. female; 100) in high school. Seoul. Korea. during the period from July. 2000. The instruments for this study was a stress management scale developed by Park Young Ae(l996), a self respect scale by Coopersmith (1967) and a physical. emotional response scale to stress by Ro, Jae Hak(1991). The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test. Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of analysis were as follows: 1) Total perceived stress between males & females didn't show a significant difference but subgroups of stress, 'parent' & 'friend' showed significant differences. Male students were experienced in 'parent' stress than females and female students were more experienced in 'friend' stress than males. 2) A significant negative correlation was revealed between perceived stress & self respect. 3) A significant positive correlation was revealed between self respect & stress response. The result of this study lead us to the suggestion that for high school students. the development of stress management methods for improving self respect should be expanded.

생활체육관을 이용하는 중년남녀의 건강증진행위, 자아존중감 및 생활만족도와의 관계 (The Relationship among Health Promotion Behaviors, Self-Respect and Life Satisfaction of Middle-aged Men and Women Who use the Life Gym)

  • 본 연구는 생활체육관을 이용하는 중년남녀의 건강증진행위, 자아존중감 및 생활만족도와의 관계를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 생활체육관을 이용하는 중년남녀 208명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 2014년 7월 26부터 9월 10일까지 자료를 수집하였다. SPSS WIN 18을 이용하여 빈도, t-test, ${\chi}^2-test$, ANOVA, Pearson 상관계수로 분석하였다. 연구결과 중년의 건강증진행위정도는 5점 만점에 3.41점으로 나타났으며 남성은 3.31점, 여성은 3.47점으로 여성이 남성에 비해 유의하게 높게 나타났다(t=-2.09, p=.038). 하위영역별로는 자아실현이 가장 높고 신체적 활동이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 자아존중감은 5점 만점에 3.42점으로 나타났으며 남성은 3.39점, 여성은 3.34점으로 나타났다. 생활만족도는 5점 만점에 3.35점으로 나타났으며 남성은 3.34점, 여성은 3.36점으로 나타났다. 중년남녀의 건강증진행위와 자아존중감은 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.427, p<.001), 건강증진행위와 생활만족도는 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.760, p<.001), 자아존중감과 생활만족도도 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.469, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타나 건강증진행위를 잘 할수록 자아존중감 및 생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중년남녀의 자아존중감과 생활만족도를 향상시키기 위해서는 건강증진행위를 증진시킬수 있는 프로그램 개발 및 검증을 제언한다.

치위생과 학생의 성인 애착, 자아존중감 및 사회적 지지가 대인관계 유능성에 미치는 영향 (The effects of dental hygiene students' adult attachment, self-respect, and sociable support on their interpersonal competence)

  • Objectives: This study sought to identify dental hygiene students' adult attachment, interpersonal competence, self-respect, and sociable support, and to identify factors that affect interpersonal competence. Method: A self-administered survey was conducted on 180 students attending dental hygiene schools nationwide from 14 February to 30 May, 2023. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVAs, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple linear regression analys were used, as determined by the SPSS 26.0 program. Results: Dental hygiene students' interpersonal competence measured 3.61 points, adult attachment measured 3.44 points, self-respect measured 3.44 points, and sociable support measured 4.00 points. In terms of general characteristics, significant differences were found in satisfaction with college life and club membership. Interpersonal competence was positively correlated with adult attachment, self-respect, and sociable support. The factor that had the greatest impact on interpersonal competence of dental hygiene students was sociable support, with an explanatory power of 37.3%. Conclusions: In order to improve the sociable support for dental hygiene students, a social activity support network within and outside of school is needed.

노인의 자기효능감이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 - 자아존중감의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (The Effect of the Self-Efficiency of Older People on the Quality of Life - Based on the mediated effect of self-respect -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인의 자기효능감이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자함에 있다. 즉 노인의 자기효능감이 자아존중감에 미치는 영향, 노인의 자기효능감이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향, 그리고 노인의 자아존중감이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 심층적으로 분석하여 특히, 최근 강조되고 있는 자아존중감의 변수를 활용하여 자아존중감이 자기효능감과 삶의 질의 관계에서 매개효과를 검증하여, 노인의 생활체육 참여를 통한 심리적 만족과 삶의 질 향상으로 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 2018년 5월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 5개월간 서울지역의 시·구청에서 진행하는 생활체육프로그램에 참여하거나 공원, 운동장 등 공공운동시설을 이용하는 60세 이상 297명을 연구대상으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생활체육 참여노인의 "자기효능감"은 "자아존중감"에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 생활체육 참여노인의 "자기효능감"은 "삶의 질"에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 생활체육 참여노인의 "자아존중감"은 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 생활체육 참여노인의 "자아존중감"은 자기효능감과 삶의 질 관계에서 매개효과가 발생하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 자아존중감의 매개변수를 활용하여 생활체육에 참여하는 노인의 자기효능감이 삶의 질에 미치는 효과를 규명하였다는데 있다. 이를 통해 노인의 자기효능감, 자아존중감 및 삶의 질의 정도를 파악하고 이들 간의 관계를 분석함으로써 노인의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 노인복지정책을 수립하는데 실증적 기초자료로 제공하고 나아가 관련 기관 및 단체에 반영됨으로써 노인건강증진프로그램 활성화에 기여하였다.

마음성장 프로그램에 참여한 대학생의 참여동기와 자아효능감, 자아존중감 및 지속적 참여의도와의 관계 (Relationship among Participation Motivation, Self-efficacy, Self-respect & Ceaseless Participation Intention of College Students in Mind Growth Program)

  • 본 연구는 마음성장프로그램에 참여한 대학생의 참여동기, 자아효능감, 자아존중감 및 지속적 참여의도의 인과관계를 규명하기 위해 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 가설과 연구모형을 설정하고 마음성장 프로그램에 참여한 88명의 자료를 실제분석에 사용하였으며, 경로모형의 적합도와 경로계수의 공변량 분해를 통하여 가설검증을 수행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 마음성장 프로그램에 참여한 대학생의 참여동기가 높을수록 자아효능감과 자아존중감이 높아지고, 자아효능감이 높을수록 자아존중감이 높아지며, 자아존중감을 통한 참여동기와 자아효능감이 높을수록 지속적 참여의도가 높아진다고 결론지을 수 있다. 이런 결론을 통해서 보면 학생들에게 낮은 자아존중감의 원인으로 볼 수 있는 학업중단, 비행, 폭력, 자살 등의 사례가 현실적으로 많이 증가하고 있는 실정을 고려해 볼 때 자아존중감 향상을 위한 인성교육의 대안이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 따라서 대학생의 인성교육의 대안으로 마음성장 프로그램을 제시하고자 한다.
