Background: This study analyzed predictors of regular mammography performance in Korea. In addition, we determined factors affecting regular mammography performance in life-transition aged women by applying an attitude, social influence, and self-efficacy (ASE) model. Materials and Methods: Data were collected from women aged over 40 years residing in province J in Korea. The 178 enrolled subjects provided informed voluntary consent prior to completing a structural questionnaire. Results: The overall regular mammography performance rate of the subjects was 41.6%. Older age, city residency, high income and part-time job were associated with a high regular mammography performance. Among women who had undergone more breast self-examinations (BSE) or more doctors' physical examinations (PE), there were higher regular mammography performance rates. All three ASE model factors were significantly associated with regular mammography performance. Women with a high level of positive ASE values had a significantly high regular mammography performance rate. Within the ASE model, self-efficacy and social influence were particularly important. Logistic regression analysis explained 34.7% of regular mammography performance and PE experience (${\beta}=4.645$, p=.003), part-time job (${\beta}=4.010$, p=.050), self-efficacy (${\beta}=1.820$, p=.026) and social influence (${\beta}=1.509$, p=.038) were significant factors. Conclusions: Promotional strategies that could improve self-efficacy, reinforce social influence and reduce geographical, time and financial barriers are needed to increase the regular mammography performance rate in life-transition aged.

Objectives: The purposes of this study were to investigate the life satisfaction, obesity, depression, self esteem, body image of adolescents by their demographic characteristics, to analyze factors impacting on life satisfaction, and to provide basic data to intervention programs for bright and healthy development. Methods: The data in this study came from the Korea Youth Survey Data collected through questionnaires from 10,156 students. To investigate the causal relationship between each variable presented in the research model, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis were carried out by using SPSS Ver. 18.0. Results: The most impacting factor on adolescents' life satisfaction were the self-esteem and depression, followed by the economic level, regular exercise, and regular eating. In conclusion, the strongest factors that influenced adolescents' life satisfaction were self-esteem and depression. Also we found that regular eating, regular exercise, and adequate sleep were the important causes of raising adolescents' life satisfaction. Conclusions: In order to enhance the adolescents' life satisfaction, we should make an effort to increase self-esteem, to prevent obesity, and to reduce depression through regular exercise and eating, adequate sleep. Therefore, it is important to recognize the importance of regular exercise and eating through health education. In addition, it is needed desperately to develop sleeping education program and to efforts to ensure sleeping right of adolescents.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects af exercise self-efficacy and exercise benefits/barriers on doing regular exercise among elderly. Methods: The subjects were 484 older adults who were eligible and agreed to. participate in this study. Data were collected from July 27 to. September 21, 2007 by face-to-face, and private interviews. The questionnaires consisted of Exercise Self-efficacy, and Exercise Benefits/Barriers. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS 13.0 program, which was used for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, and logistic regression. Results: The major findings af this study were as follows: 1) Approximately 56.8% of participants were doing regular exercise. Study participants' exercise self-efficacy mean scare was 36.30, exercise benefits 2.74, and exercise barriers 2.03; 2) There was significant correlation between exercise self-efficacy and exercise benefits; 3) Significant factors influencing regular exercise were self-efficacy, exercise benefits and exercise barriers. Conclusion: These results suggested that nurses should emphasize exercise benefits/barriers and reinforce self-efficacy to improve regular exercise in the elderly.
This study has been performed to analyze nutrition knowledge, dietary self-efficacy and eating habits of the elementary- and middle- school students (n = 342) according to student's stage of regular breakfast or exercise. Middle school students had higher nutrition knowledge than primary school students. Total dietary self-efficacy and dietary habit scores were not different by school year and gender. Nutrition knowledge, dietary self-efficacy and dietary habit scores were positively correlated each other. By the stage of regular breakfast, the pre-contemplation stage comprised 13.6%, contemplation 2.1%, preparation 15.7%, action 11.5% and maintenance stage 59.1%. By the stage of regular exercise, the pre-contemplation stage comprised 20.9%, contemplation 7.3%, preparation 45.6%, action 9.8% and maintenance stage 16.4%. According to the stage of change, movement from the pre-contemplation and contemplation to upper stage increased the dietary self-efficacy score. Dietary habit score increased significantly across the five stages of changes. The results of this study indicate differences in stages of changes in breakfast intake and regular exercise and indicate the need for taking these phases of change into account in nutrition education.
Purpose: To identify the status of regular cervical cancer screening practices among middle-aged women, the associations between regular practice and research factors, and the predictive model and factors effecting such behavior was studied. Method: Two hundred women, aged 40 to 60, were selected by convenience in one urban area of Seoul. They were asked about their regular attendance for screening, knowledge of cancer and screening, health belief, health self-determination index and certain personal factors. Result: Approximately 54.5% of the women had periodic screening tests every 6 months to 2 years. Their knowledge of cervical cancer and health belief were at the medium level of each scale, but their health self-determination scores (HSDI) were low. Some influencing factors, and their cancer odds ratio were identified through univariate regression analysis. These variables were included in a predictive model, and this model proved to have enough fit and classification power (83.5%). In this model, the financial state, self-belief and self-determination scores were found to be significant. Conclusion: Middle-age women's intrinsic motivation for healthy behavior was found to be low in those who felt to be in a poor financial state, had higher perceived barriers, lower perceived benefits and a lower prevalence of undergoing regular screening test.
Purpose: This study was to identify factors to regular exercise among patients with osteoarthritis prior to total knee replacement. Methods: For this cross-sectional descriptive study, the data were collected using questionnaires from 136 patients scheduled for total knee replacement from July 2014 to December. This study aimed to analyse regular exercise status, intensity of physical activity, and factors affecting regular exercise. Results: Twenty two percent of patients expecting for total knee replacement are performing regular exercise and the intensity of it was very low. The use of walking aids, 6-minute walk test, self efficacy for exercise and pain, and quality of life (mental) were significantly associated with regular exercise before surgery. Factors affecting regular exercise were self efficacy for exercise (OR=1.059, CI=1.037-1.091) and 6 minutes walking distance (OR=1.007, CI=1.001-1.014). Conclusion: The results suggest that pre-surgery programs for physical activity and self efficacy were necessary for patients expecting total knee replacement. Regular exercise program could be beneficial for better outcomes after total knee replacement.
This paper proposes an infeasible interior-point algorithm with full-Newton step for linear programming. We introduce a special self-regular proximity to induce the feasibility step and also to measure proximity to the central path. The result of polynomial complexity coincides with the best-known iteration bound for infeasible interior-point methods, namely, O(n log n/${\varepsilon}$).

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of socio-demographic variables on time management and to investigate the effects of time management on self-efficacy and academic achievement in college students. The data were collected from 382 college students through questionnaire surveys and analyzed using frequency, percentile, and regression analysis with the SPSS program. College students' time management behavior was influenced by the social status of their families and by their participation in time management education. There were differences in variables affecting time management according to its sub-areas (planning, regular habits, and goal-oriented behavior). Planning was influenced by the students' majors and by their participation in time management education. Regular habits were influenced by the students' genders and their families' social status. No variables affected goal-oriented behavior. Time management (especially planning and goal-oriented behavior) and gender had strong effects on self-efficacy, and male students showed more self-efficacious behavior than their female counterparts. Time management (especially planning and regular habits) and gender had strong effects on academic achievement, and female students received higher academic grades than their male counterparts. Based on these results, time management was confirmed as an influential element in self-efficacy and academic achievement. Planning and goal-oriented behavior particularly influenced self-efficacy, and planning and regular habits particularly influenced academic achievement.

In this paper, we present a method of extracting a regular 2-manifold triangular net from a triangular net including degenerate and self-intersected triangles. This method can be applied to obtaining an offset model without degenerate and self-intersected triangles. Then this offset model can be used to generate CL curves and extract machining features for CAPP The robust and efficient algorithm to detect valid triangles by growing regions from an initial valid triangle is presented. The main advantage of the algorithm is that detection of valid triangles is performed only in valid regions and their adjacent selfintersections, and omitted in the rest regions (invalid regions). This advantage increases robustness of the algorithm. As well as a k-d tree bucketing method is used to detect self-intersections efficiently.
