미닝아웃의 체험적 측면이 자아존중감과 주관적 안녕감 향상에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Experiential Aspect of Meaning out on Improvement of Self-esteem and Subjective Well-being)

  • 최근에 소비자들은 사회 및 환경문제에 대한 관심을 소비에 반영할 뿐 아니라, 자신들의 소비에 의미를 부여하며 도덕적 가치를 표현하는 미닝아웃에 점차 더 참여하고 있다. 하지만 미닝아웃의 확산 속도와 달리 관련 연구는 매우 부족하다. 본 연구는 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 미닝아웃을 체험적 관점에서 접근하고 있으며, 미닝아웃의 체험적 특성이 자아존중감과 주관적 안녕감 향상과 같은 심리적 효과에 어떤 영향을 주는지 연구하고자 하였다. 먼저 미닝아웃의 체험(감정체험, 인지체험, 행동체험, 관계체험)이 자아존중감 향상을 통해 주관적 안녕감 향상에 주는 영향을 가정하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 이용해 총 197부의 데이터를 가설을 검증한 결과, 감정체험을 제외한 세 가지 체험이 자아존중감 향상에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 자아존중감 향상은 주관적 안녕감 향상에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 미닝아웃 체험의 긍정적 심리효과를 확인함으로써 기존 연구를 확장하고, 실무적 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

  • 평생학습 사회에서의 학교도서관은 교육이 추구하고 있는 자기주도 학습능력을 증진시키는데 있어서 교육적 역할을 수행하여야 한다. 본 연구는 우선 자기주도 학습능력의 계발이 학교도서관 이용교육의 주된 목적임을 밝히고자 한다. 다음으로 학교도서관의 중요한 교육적 역할인 이용교육의 실태를 분석하고자 한다. 끝으로, 이용교육의 개선 방안을 다음과 같이 제안하고자 한다. 1. 학교도서관의 연합운영체계 구축 2. 정보교육의 문화교육차원에서 재정립 3. 교육과정 기반 협동수업을 통한 이용교육 전개

자율형 고등학교의 자기주도적 학습전형 운영 실태와 개선방안 (Improvement of Screening System of Self-initiated Learning in Self-governing High Schools)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore improving ways of screening of self-directed learning in self-governing high schools for expanding self-initiated learning screening system. To achieve the above aim, it was used survey method to 99 admission teachers of 12 self-governing high schools and analyzed responses with SPSS program. The research findings are as follows. To expand self-initiated learning screening system in self-governing high schools, it needs to obtain admission members of entrance committee, pooling of external screening members, quick decision of school admission members, increasing payment, training and understanding of the system and consideration of admission documents and study plan. Some improving ways of the expanding of self-initiated learning screening may be listed as follows: 1) development of screening model for self-governing schools 2) policy consideration for self-governing public high school 3) expanding autonomy of school 4) supporting budget 5) sharing of operation case and reinforcement of public relations.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine effects of a self-help management program at public health centers on self-efficacy, self-esteem, knowledge of stroke and family supports in stroke patients. Methods: Based on a quasi-experimental design, 44 persons with stroke were assigned to the experimental group (n=21) or the control group (n=23). Data were analyzed through the descriptive statistics, t-test, $x^2$-test and Mann-Whitney test with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The experimental group showed significant improvement in its members' self-efficacy, self-esteem, knowledge of stroke and family supports. Conclusion: The self-help management program can be an effective nursing intervention to help stroke patients improve their self-efficacy, self-esteem, knowledge of stroke and family supports. That program is also meaningful in that it can contribute to more effective implementation of established programs for stroke patients in public health centers.

인터넷활용과 노인의 삶의 질과의 관계 (Research on Relationships between Internet Use and the Elderly's Life Quality)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 인터넷활용이 생활변화, 고독감, 자존감 요인과 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 노인들의 고독감이 인터넷 활용과 일련의 관계성을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉 연구 초기 기초모형에서는 기존 연구와 마찬가지로 인터넷의 활용이 노인들의 고독감을 완화시킬 것이라는 가설을 제시하였지만, 최종분석의 결과 오히려 노인들의 고독감이 노인들로 하여금 인터넷을 활용하게 하는 동기로 작용할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 노인들은 자존감이 높을수록 삶의 질에 높은 만족도를 보여주는 것으로 분석되었으며, 인터넷의 활용이 자존감 향상에 큰 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 최종모형의 추정결과 인터넷 활용에 기인한 생활변화 요인이 자존감 향상에 미치는 영향강도가 여타 변인들보다 매우 강하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 노인들의 삶의 질 향상을 위해서는 노인의 자존감을 높여야 하며, 이러한 자존감 향상을 위해 인터넷 매체를 활용케 하는 것이 큰 효과를 가져 올 수 있을 것이다.

자율실습교육에서 스마트폰 동영상을 활용한 자가평가 학습법이 간호술기 수행능력, 자율실습만족도, 학습동기에 미치는 효과: 유치도뇨를 중심으로 (Effects of Self-evaluation using Smartphone Recording on Nursing Students' Competency in Nursing Skills, Satisfaction, and Learning Motivations: Focusing on Foley Catheterization)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effects of self-evaluation using smartphone recording on competency in nursing skills, satisfaction and learning motivations in nursing students'. The setting was the open laboratory hours. Methods: A quasi-experimental pre/post-test design was conducted in September 2015. The participants were 82 sophomore nursing students from one University. The experimental group did self-evaluation by watching recorded video clips of their performance. The control group did not have any self-evaluation. The primary outcomes were scores from the foley catheterization checklist, scores from a student satisfaction tool, and scores from a learning motivation tool. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$ test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and paired t-test. Results: There was a significant higher mean score in levels of satisfaction by students in the experimental group compared to the control group (t=2.26, p=.027). In addition, improvement in communication skills by the experimental group was significantly higher than improvement in the control group (t=3.96, p<.001). Conclusion: Findings show that self-evaluation using smartphone recordings has positive effects on increasing both communication skills and satisfaction with practice during open laboratory hours. These results indicate that, self-evaluation using smartphone recording is useful as a supplement to traditional open laboratory education.

초등학생의 자기주도 학습력 향상을 위한 블로그 시스템의 활용 (The Study on the Improvement of Self-directed Learning Competency using Blog Systems in Elementary School)

  • 이 연구에서는 자기주도적 학습력 신장을 위한 교육용 블로그 커뮤니티를 구현하여 적용한 뒤 그 효과성을 살펴보았다. 블로그 커뮤니티를 활용한 수업을 한 후 자기주도적 학습력 검사지를 통해 그 효과성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 이 연구에서 설계 및 개발한 블로그를 활용한 학습이 일반 학급홈페이지를 활용한 학습보다 학습자의 자기주도적 학습력 신장에 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 그리고 하위 척도별 검사 결과를 보았을 때 인지조절에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으나 동기조절, 행동조절 등의 척도에서 특히 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 블로그 커뮤니티를 활용한 학습 및 학급경영이 자기주도적 학습력 신장에 효과적이며, 특히 학습자의 동기 및 행동에 영향을 미쳐 학습자 주도형 수업 및 학급 커뮤니티를 개발하는 데 큰 도움을 주리라 기대된다.

자가 신장운동이 전방머리자세를 동반한 만성 목통증 환자의 자세개선에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Self-Stretching Exercises on Postural Improvement in Patients with Chronic Neck Pain Caused by Forward Head Posture)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to provide clinical basic data to reduce pain and improve function by comparing neck muscle activity and neck alignment using self-stretching and passive stretching exercises for chronic neck pain caused by forward head posture. METHODS: The subjects were divided into 15 subjects assigned to perform self-stretching exercise and 15 subjects assigned to perform passive stretching exercise. The intervention was conducted for a total of 4 weeks. The muscle activity in the neck was measured by surface electromyography (EMG) before intervention, and craniovertebral and cranial rotation angles were measured by X-ray. The 4-week intervention was conducted and the above items re-measured in the same manner and analyzed. RESULTS: Muscle activity within both groups after intervention using self-stretching or passive stretching exercise was significantly different (p < .05)(p < .01). Neck alignment of both groups was significantly different (p < .001)(p < .01). Further, muscle activities of the upper trapezius and splenius capitis muscles showed significant differences (p<.05). Lastly, neck alignment showed statistically significant difference (p < .05). CONCLUSION: Self-stretching exercise activated motor nerves as a posture correction exercise, thereby improving inhibition of muscle activity, muscle contraction delay, and pathological conditions of the muscle. For future research, interventions of self-stretching exercise will be needed for patients with chronic back pain accompanied by forward head posture, and various clinical studies on postural improvement of forward head posture by maintaining a normal muscle tone state are needed.

간호학 임상실습 입문 교육과정(Introduction to Clinical Nursing) 개발과 교육 효과 (The Development and Evaluation of a New Educational Program, Introduction to Clinical Nursing, for Third Year Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a newly developed Introduction to Clinical Nursing (ICN) program on critical thinking skills, communication competence, self-efficacy, and clinical performance self-confidence in nursing students in their third year. Methods: One group pre-test and post-test design was used with three data collection time points (pre-test, post-test1 and post-test2). Participants were 74 third year nursing students approaching their first clinical practicum. The new program included (a) simulated clinical encounters regarding situations of assessing hospitalized patents and caring for patients with oxygenation needs, (b) objective structured clinical examination of skills, (c) lectures, and (e) field trips. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests. Results: After the ICN course, critical thinking skills(significant only between pretest and post-test2), communication competence, and clinical performance self-confidence improved significantly (p<.05). There was no improvement in the self-efficacy total score but there was significant improvement in the subscale, self-regulatory efficacy. Conclusions: The study results indicate that the ICN course may be effective in increasing critical thinking skills, communication competence, and clinical performance self-confidence in nursing students. However, the effect size was very small and modifications of this program should be considered to develop more cost-effective educational programs.

일반간호사의 자기효능감, 집단효능감과 직무스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Self-efficacy, Collective-efficacy and Job Stress in the Nursing Staff)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of self-efficacy and collective-efficacy on job stress in the nursing staff. Method: This study surveyed 160 nurses in three general hospitals in the Seoul and Gyung-gi province for two months starting in September 2004. The questionnaire consisted of 54 questions about job stress, 10 questions about self-efficacy, and 7 questions about collective-efficacy. The answers were on a scale rating of 5. The answer sheets were analyzed with descriptive statistics, the t-test, ANOVA, the tukey test, the Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression using SAS version 8.2. Result: The average job stress rating of the nurses was 3.11. The average self-efficacy and the average collective-efficacy were 3.41 and 3.39, respectively. The age, working department, income level, shift-work and hospital have influence on job stress. Efficacies such that self-efficacy and collective-efficacy have influence on job stress. The much efficacy makes the less job stress. The stepwise multiple regression revealed that the significant predictor of job stress was working department and hospital. Conclusion: This study showed that collective-efficacy as well as self-efficacy reduces job stress, so nursing intervention methods should promote collective-efficacy. The collective-efficacy improvement program should be developed to improve job performance, to improve cohesion of nursing units, and to improve satisfaction on the job. The next research could be to develop collective-efficacy improvement programs for nursing units.
