투석전 만성신장병 환자의 자가관리 도구 개발 (Development of Self-management Instrument for Pre-dialysis Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 투석전 만성신장병 환자에게 적용할 타당성 있고 신뢰도 있는 자가관리 도구를 개발하는 것이다. 일개 병원의 143명의 만성신장병 환자에게 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 문헌고찰을 통해 자가관리 영역과 문항을 구성하고, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 평가하고 신뢰도를 분석하였다. 5개의 요인이 도출되었고, 각각은 치료지시이행과 파트너십, 식이이행, 문제해결, 건강행위, 정신사회적 건강추구로 명명하였다. 5개의 요인은 총 변량의 51.1%를 설명했다. 각 요인은 신뢰도가 0.64-0.79여서 신뢰할 만했다. 개발된 자가관리 도구는 만성신장병 환자에게는 스스로 관리할 수 있는 지침이 되고, 건강관리 전문가들에게는 환자의 관리상태를 평가하고 중재 프로그램을 개발하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

유방암 생존자의 수술방법에 따른 다차원적 신체이미지, 자아존중감, 의복추구혜택과 수술 후 신체이미지에 관한 연구 (Multidimensional body image, self-esteem, clothing benefits sought, and body image after breast cancer by the surgical subgroups among breast cancer survivors)

  • This study investigated multidimensional body image, self-esteem, clothing benefits sought, and Body Image After Breast Cancer (BIABC) within surgical subgroups among breast cancer survivors. The study applied the questionnaire survey method and the main research was conducted through an online survey. The respondents included 207 breast cancer survivors between the ages of 30 and 59, each of whom received the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ). Self-esteem, clothing benefits sought, examination, and demographic variables were measured using a 5-point Likert scale. The main results of this study are outlined below. For clothing benefit sought, six factors were formulated-pursuit of self-expression/social approval, function/health, compensation, femininity, fashion, and camouflage-and BIABC was defined by the four factors of body stigma/vulnerability, transparency, limitation and cancer concern. While MBSRQ and self-esteem did not show a statistically significant difference between groups differentiated by the surgical methods experienced, those who underwent mastectomies scored slightly lower than members of the other groups. Moreover, the reconstruction after mastectomy group showed the highest mean on self-expression/social approval, compensation, femininity and entire clothing benefits sought, followed by the lumpectomy group and mastectomy group. The lumpectomy group was found to have more positive BIABC than the mastectomy group. In particular, the mastectomy group showed a lower body stigma/vulnerability mean than the other groups. This study is meaningful in that it improves our understanding of the body image of breast cancer survivors and provides basic knowledge for developing products and marketing strategies for breast cancer survivors as consumers.

협동동료교수학습이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력과 셀프리더십에 미치는 융합적 효과 (Convergence effects of collaborative peer tutoring on communication ability and self-leadership of nursing students)

  • 본 연구는 협동동료교수학습이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력과 셀프리더십에 미치는 융합적 효과를 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 10회의 협동동료교수학습 전후 의사소통능력과 셀프리더십 조사 결과를 SPSS/WIN 19.0으로 시행한 Mann-Whitney U와 Kruskal-Wallis 검정 결과, 의사소통능력은 실험 전후 성격유형, 토론선호 및 리더역량에서 유의한 차이가 있었고, 셀프리더십은 간호학과 입학동기, 리더역량 및 학교성적에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 처치 전후 의사소통능력과 셀프리더십 간 양의 상관관계가 있었고, Wilcoxon 부호순위검정 결과, 협동동료교수학습은 의사소통능력과 셀프리더십을 각각 유의하게 증가시켰다(p=.008, p<.001). 본 연구 결과 협동동료교수학습은 간호대학생들의 의사소통능력과 셀프리더십 향상을 위한 중재프로그램을 개발을 위해 적용가능한 효과적인 학습법으로 볼 수 있고, 대상자 수를 확대하고 대조군을 둔 실험연구를 제언한다.

Self-Care Education Programs Based on a Trans-Theoretical Model in Women Referring to Health Centers: Breast Self-Examination Behavior in Iran

  • Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers and a major public health problem in developing countries. However, early detection and treatment may be achieved by breast self-examination (BSE). Despite the importance of BSE in reducing the incidence of breast cancer and esultant deaths, the disease continues to be the most common cause of cancer death among women in Iran.This study aimed to determine the effects of self-care education on performance of BSE among women referring to health centers in our country. Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental interventional study with pretest/posttest control group design was conducted on 168 women referred to health centers. The data were collected using a validated researcher-made questionnaire including demographic variables and trans-theoretical model constructs as well as a checklist assessing BSE behavior. The instruments were administered to groups with and without self-care education before, a week after, and 10 weeks after the intervention. Then, the data were entered into the SPSS statistical software (version 19) and analyzed using independent sample t-tests, paired sample t-test, repeated measures ANOVA, Chi-square, and Friedman tests (p<0.05). Results: The results showed an increase in the intervention group's mean scores of trans-theoretical model constructs (stages of change, self-efficacy, decisional balance, and processes of change) and BSE behavior compared to the control group (p<0.001). Conclusion: The study confirmed the effectiveness of aneducational intervention based ona trans-theoretical model in performing BSE. Therefore, designing educational interventions based on this model is recommended to improve women's health and reduce deaths due to breast cancer.

  • 기업체에서 변화 활동을 담당하는 변화 담당자 305명을 대상으로 이들의 자기관, 모험 수용성과 같은 성격특성이 조직이 추진하는 변화활동 및 담당업무에 대한 적용에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 긍정적인 자기관과 모험 수용성이 높은 사람들은 조직이 추진하고 있는 변화 활동관련 업무를 보다 적극적으로 수행하고 있었으며, 담당하는 변화관련 업무에 대한 적응도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 변화대응성은 긍정적인 자기관 및 모험 수용성과 업무에 대한 적응간을 매개하는 변수역할을 원활하게 수행하기 위해서는 긍정적인 자기관과 모험 수용성을 보유하는 것이 필요하며, 조직에서 변화 담당자를 선발하고 이들을 교육할 때 이들의 자기관을 긍정적으로 변화시켜주고, 모험 수용성을 높여주는 것(또는 이런 성향이 높은 사람을 선발하는 것)이 바람직함을 시사한다. 또한 변화담당자들이 자신들이 담당하는 업무에 쉽게 적응하도록 하기 위해서는 이들의 변화대응성을 높이는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

치과위생사의 자기효능감과 이직의도와의 관련 조사 (A Study on the Self-Efficacy and Turnover Intention of Dental Hygienists)

  • This study aimed to explore possible relationships between self-efficiency and intention to leave in dental hygienists so as to provide basic data for developing solutions to effectively manage dental hygienist man power. A total of 206 dental hygienists from different dental care institutions in Cheonbuk Province were chosen as subjects by a convenience sampling method. Data were collected through a self-reported survey. The results were as follows. The self-efficiency was higher among dental hygienists who were more than 36 years of age, had graduated university, were at their cuurent job longer than 11 years, and reported their annual income to be more than 25 million won. As their age was younger and their education and income levels were lower, their intention to leave was stronger. Also subjects who were unmarried, did not feel satisfaction with their current job, and did not want to stay any longer at the location where they were currently working tended to have higher intention to leave. The higher their self-efficiency, the lower their turnover intention. An examination of the three factors offered by a factor analysis on self-efficiency, 1) sense of competence, 2) sense of confidence, and 3) strong drive, revealed that the higher their sense of competence, the lower their turnover intention. It was also revealed that their self-efficiency had a significant influence on their turnover intention and the most influential factor was their sense of competence.

수공예활동이 자아존중감과 공감지수에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Handicraft Activities on Self-Esteem and Empathy Quotient)

  • Purpose : In this research, I tried to examine the effect of handwork activities through group activities on self-esteem and sympathy index. Method : In this research, for men and women enrolled in K university, we explain sufficiently the purpose and method of research and randomly assign to 20 training group and 20 control group for those who agreed with experiment we divided handwork activities twice a week from november 18, 2016 to December 6, six times in total for 30 minutes. Results : Compared with self-esteem among groups, group training exercises showed higher interpersonal relationships than control group, and self-accepted items and self-efficacy items decreased. empathy comparison that group fits according to arbitration period compared with group control training group, group of training exercise high emotional sympathy items and social skills items appear high, cognitive sympathy items are low. Conclusion : From the results of this study, it turned out that the activities of handwork by group improved interpersonal relationships, emotional sympathy and social skills. In light of the results of these studies, it can be considered that better results can be obtained when applied to children and young people who are forming self-esteem and cognitive sympathy. In future research, further studies based on age, sex and further research corresponding to each situation, student's self esteem and a broader material for developing program necessary for cognitive sympathy can be obtained.

공공병원을 이용하는 당뇨병 환자의 당뇨 지식, 자가간호행위와 당화혈색소의 관계 (Relationships between Diabetic Knowledge, Self-Care Behaviors and HbA1c in Diabetic Patients using public hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate diabetic knowledge, self-care behaviors, and HbA1c of patients with diabetic mellitus in public hospitals. Methods: Participants were 287 adult patients who had been diagnosed with diabetes in two public hospitals in Seoul. Collected data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation with the SPSS (PASW) 21.0 program. Results: For general characteristics of the participants, there were significant differences in the level of diabetic knowledge according to age (F=11.28, p<.001), educational level (F=11.07, p<.001), type of health insurance (F=9.38, p<.001), and monthly income (t=-4.58, p<.001) and in the self-care behaviors according to age (F=8.61, p<.001) and in HbA1c according to age (F=6.72, p=.001). As for disease related characteristics of the participants, significant differences were found for self-care behaviors according to education about diabetes (t=3.90, p<.001) and in HbA1c according to education about diabetes (t=3.26, p=.001) and current diabetic therapy methods (F=13.51, p<.001). The study results showed that there was no correlation between diabetic knowledge and self-care behavior, or between self-care behavior and HbA1c. Conclusion: Results indicate that when developing preliminary data on nursing intervention education programs on diabetes, increasing diabetic knowledge and self-care behaviors would help to improve blood glucose levels.

여고생의 정서지능과 진로준비행동이 자기주도학습능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Career Preparation Behavior by High School Girls on Self-directed Learning)

  • 본 연구는 여고생의 정서지능과 진로준비행동, 자기주도학습능력을 확인하고, 자기주도학습능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 수행되었다. 여고생 2학년 231명을 대상으로 자가보고식 설문조사를 하였고, 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple regression analysis을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 일반적 특성에 따른 진로준비행동은 계열, 성적에 따라, 자기주도학습능력은 성적에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 자기주도학습능력은 정서지능(r=.560, p<.001), 진로준비행동(r=.232, p<.001)과 각각 양의 상관관계가 있었고, 자기주도학습능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 정서지능(β=.515, p<.001), 성적'중'(β=.376, p<.001), 성적'상'(β=.274, p<.001), 진로준비행동(β=.128, p<.05)으로 나타났으며, 설명력은 44.0%였다. 따라서 여고생들의 자기주도학습능력을 높이기 위해 정서지능과 진로준비행동을 강화하는 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는 것이 필요하다.
