PFOA Free 불소 고분자 및 실리카 나노졸을 이용한 self cleaning 표면 가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Self-cleaning Surface Finishing Using PFOA Free Fluoric Polymer and Silica Nano-sol)

  • Super-hydrophobic surface, with a water contact angle greater than $150^{\circ}$, has a self cleaning effect termed 'lotus effect'. We introduced super-hydrophobicity onto aramid/rayon mixture fabric with dual-scale structure by assembling silica nano-sol. Mixture fabric was treated with silica nano-sol, fluoric polymer using various parameters such as particle size, concentration. Silica nano-sol size were measured using particle size analyzer. Morphological changes by particle size were observed using field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), contact angle measurement equipment. The contact angle of water was about $134.0^{\circ}$, $137.0^{\circ}$, $143.0^{\circ}$, $139.5^{\circ}$ and $139.0^{\circ}$ for mixture fabric coated with 100.2nm, 313.7nm, 558.2nm, 628.5nm and 965.4nm silica nano-sol, compared with about $120.0^{\circ}$ for mixture fabric coated with fluoric polymer. When we mixed particle sizes of 100.2nm and 558.2nm by 7:3 volume ratio, the contact angle of water was about $146.2^{\circ}$. And we mixed particle sizes of 313.7nm and 558.2nm by 7:3 volume ratio, the contact angle of water was about $141.8^{\circ}$. Also we mixed particle sizes of 558.2nm and 965.4nm by 7:3 volume ratio, the best super-hydrophobicity was obtained. In this paper, we fabricated the water-repellent surfaces with various surface structures by using four types of silica nano-sol, and we found that the dual-scale structure was very important for the super-hydrophobicity.

배전기기 외함 부착방지 및 자기세정 코팅기술 개발 및 현장실증 (Development and the Long-Term Test of Anti-Adhesion Surface Coating Technology on Electric Power Distribution Equipment)

  • 전력수요가 많은 도심지역의 전력설비 설치가 늘어남에 따라 다수의 배전용 개폐기, 변압기와 같은 지상기기들이 보도에 설치되어 있다. 도심지역의 경우 매우 가혹한 환경(불법광고물 부착, 자동차 매연, 부식, UV 열화, 오염 등)으로 인해서 0.5-5년 내에 거리의 흉물로 변하고 있다. 불법광고물 무단 부착, 부식, 자동차 매연 및 오염, UV 열화로부터 환경친화형 배전기기를 운영하기 위해서는 광고물 부착방지, 방식, 내구성 향상, 미관 개선 기능의 현장 적용이 가능한 생체모방코팅소재 제조기술과 도포 기술 개발을 필요로 한다. 따라서 도막 경도가 단단한 실리콘레진 기반 도료를 개발하여 부착방지 및 낙서방지 기능 뿐만 아니라 도막 경도를 향상시키는 것으로 박리 현상을 저하시킬 수 있는 도료를 개발했다. 개발된 코팅제는 한국전력공사 대덕유성지사와 공동으로 노은 및 지족동 일대 배전기기 외함 9개소를 대상으로 현장 장기 실증시험을 통한 장기 내구성평가를 진행했다. 전력기기 생체모방 코팅기술은 다양한 손상 환경에 따라서 그 조건에 맞는 최적의 코팅 물질 및 공정 개발이 가능하다. 지속적인 코팅기술 업그레이드로 원천기술 및 지적재산권을 획득하고 전국의 설치된 기기로부터 장기실증 데이터를 취득함으로써 전력기기 운영/정비/보수 시장에 진출하여 경쟁력 있는 사업화의 기반 마련이 가능할 것으로 전망한다.

  • 실란, 실리카, 이산화티탄($TiO_2$) 광촉매의 sol-gel 반응을 통하여 자기세정 기능과 Cr-free 기능을 동시에 나타낼수 있는 친수성 자기세정 강판용 공중합체를 제조하여용융 아연 도금 강판위에박막으로 코팅하여 그 특성을 분석하였다. 코팅층의 상부에 위치한 TI층에 의하여 광활성화를 통한 친수성표면을 형성하였으며, 코팅표면에서의 수(水) 접촉각 측정결과 10도 이하의 초친수성 특성을 나타내었다.

Anisotropic Superomniphobic Wettability on Hierarchical Structures of Micro Line Array Combined with Fluorinated Wax (C24F50)

  • In recent years, researches about hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces have been executed however their other effects have not been researched enough. In this paper, the fabrication method of hierarchical structures of micro line array combined with fluorinated wax for anisotropic superomniphobic wettability is presented. We have achieved anisotropic and superomniphobic surface via simple two step methods, which are maskless photolithography and wax deposition. In order to prove how to provide those characteristics, SEM, contact angle measurement tool and X-ray diffraction are used. Fluorinated wax is crystalized self-assembly and it is subordinated on micro line array so that it is able to display anisotropic wettability. Understanding on anisotropic superomniphobic surface and simple fabrication method has been attracted to apply for lots of applications which range from self-cleaning surface, microfluidic chip, to directionally fluid control device, even in oily fluid.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차, 가전 및 건설분야에서 널리 사용되고 있는 주요 표면처리강판에 대한 제품 소개 및 기술을 설명하고자 한다. 포스코에서는 자원 및 에너지 절약을 위하여 종래 아연도금 강판보다 더 우수한 내식성을 갖는 고내식 합금도금강판을 개발을 추진하여 양산개발에 성공 하였으며 박막형 고내식강판 개발을 위해 신공법인 진공증착기술을 접목한 제품생산 프로세스 개발을 추진 중에 있다. 또한 다양한 기능성의 유기수지코팅 제품인 흑색수지강판, UV 경화코팅 강판, 프린트강판, self-healing 및 self-cleaning 강판 제품을 개발하였으며 산업과 고객의 요구를 충족시키기 위하여 새로운 기술과 제품개발에 지속적으로 노력하고 있다.

최근 전문위탁급식업체의 일반현황 및 위생관리현황 (Current Information and Sanitaion Status of Professional Catering Companies)

  • A survey was performed to provide current information on professional catering companies. Twenty-three catering companies out of thirty-eight(60% recovery) responded the survey for December in 1998. Foodservice establishments managed by 16 small-middle sized catering companies provided an average of 11,200 meals daily, while those managed by major and small-middle sized catering companies were mainly office(72.2%, 57.1%) and school foodservice(15.2%, 26%). The rates of sales of major catering companies and small-middle sized catering companies increased 24%, 30% respectively in 1998. Self-evaluation in catering companies was conducted for sanitary management. Unsatisfactory results from self evaluation were found in three categories, such as, measurement of internal temperature of food materials at reception, ventilation system in the working area, and hand-washing stations with equipment cleaning and sanitizing facilities in front of the working area. Most catering companies expressed a willingness to apply the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system from this survey. $\ulcorner$Professional catering business has arisen as an area requiring more consideration and further study for the production of a safe food.$\lrcorner$

A Review of Nanomaterials in Cement-Based Composite

  • This paper reviews the development condition of nanomaterials used in concrete over years. The definitions of nanomaterial, nanotechnology, and nano-concrete are reviewed. The impacts of nanomaterials on cementitious material in the point of advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Moreover, this paper analyzes and classifies the nanomaterials into the extra quality enhancement and modification to plain cementitious composite. Indeed, the outstanding properties of the embedded nanomaterials can be introduced to concrete such as the mechanical improvement, pore structure refinement, hydrate acceleration, and smartness modifying of self-cleaning, and/or self-sensing. Before the full potential of nanotechnology can be realized in concrete applications, various techniques have to be solved including proper dispersion, compatibility of the nanomaterials in cement, processing, manufacturing, safety, handling issues, scale-up, cost, the impact on the environment and human health.

  • According to recent advances in technology, major robot technologies that have been developed and commercialized for industrial use are being applied to various fields in our everyday life such as guide robots and cleaning robots. Among them, the navigation based on the self localization has become an essential element technology of the robot. In the case of indoor environment, many high-priced sensors are used, which makes it difficult to activate the robot industry. In this paper, we propose a robotic platform and a moving algorithm that can travel by using Dijkstra algorithm. The proposed system can find a short route to the destination with its own position. Also, its performance is discussed through the experimentation of an actual robot.
