  • Rapid development of Internet has increased users' desire for more information, and as a result, it created 'deluge of information', generating so much information. Especially, profit-pursuing corporations have done a lot of research to secure its own technological power. However, damages caused by illegal copy of information by illegal outside users or insiders are coming to the fore as social problem. Therefore, this paper is to propose secure knowledge management system to prevent illegal copy of data by insiders. The proposed scheme is a secure knowledge management system that carries out explicit authentication for internal users using 2MAC and provides data based on the authentication, thereby preventing illegal copy of data by insiders.

  • Distributed wireless sensor network in various environment have characteristic that is surveillance of environment-element and offering usefully military information but there is shortcoming that have some secure risks. Therefore secure service must be required for this sensor network safety. More safe and effective techniques of node administration are required for safe communication between each node. This paper proposes effective cluster-header and clustering techniques in suitable administration techniques of group-key on sensor network. In this paper, first each node transmit residual electric power and authentication message to BS (Base-Station). BS reflects "Validity Authentication Rate" and residual electric power. And it selects node that is more than these regularity values by cluster header. After BS broadcasts information about cluster header in safety and it transmits making a list of information about cluster member node to cluster header. Also, Every rounds it reflects and accumulates "Validity Authentication Rate" of former round. Finally, BS can select more secure cluster header.

  • Body area networks (BANs) have emerged as an enabling technique for e-healthcare systems, which can be used to continuously and remotely monitor patients' health. In BANs, the data of a patient's vital body functions and movements can be collected by small wearable or implantable sensors and sent using shortrange wireless communication techniques. Due to the shared wireless medium between the sensors in BANs, it may be possible to have malicious attacks on e-healthcare systems. The security and privacy issues of BANs are becoming more and more important. To provide secure and correct association of a group of sensors with a patient and satisfy the requirements of data confidentiality and integrity in BANs, we propose a novel enhanced secure sensor association and key management protocol based on elliptic curve cryptography and hash chains. The authentication procedure and group key generation are very simple and efficient. Therefore, our protocol can be easily implemented in the power and resource constrained sensor nodes in BANs. From a comparison of results, furthermore, we can conclude that the proposed protocol dramatically reduces the computation and communication cost for the authentication and key derivation compared with previous protocols. We believe that our protocol is attractive in the application of BANs.

  • User-authentication process is necessary in Fintech Service. Especially, authentication on smartphones are carried out through PIN which is inputted through virtual keypads on touch screen. Attacker can analogize password by watching touched letter and position over the shoulder or using high definition cameras. To prevent password spill, various research of virtual keypad techniques are ongoing. It is hard to design secure keypad which assures safety by fluctuative keypad and enhance convenience at once. Also, to reconfirm user whether password is wrongly pressed, the inputted information is shown on screen. This makes the password easily exposed through high definition cameras or Google Class during recording. This research analyzed QWERTY based secure keypad's merits and demerits. And through these features, creating Tetris shaped keypad and piece them together on Android environment, and showing inputted words as Tetris shape to users through smart-screen is suggested for the ways to prevent password spill by recording.

  • Recently, RFID system is a main technology to realize ubiquitous computing environments, but the feature of the RFID system may bring about various privacy problem. So, many kinds of protocols To resolve this problem are researched. In this paper, we analyse the privacy problem of the previous methods and propose more secure and effective authentication protocol to protect user's privacy. Then we prove that the proposed protocol is secure and effective as we compare the proposed protocol with previous methods. The proposed protocol is based on Challenge-Response using one-way hash function and random number. The proposed protocol is secure against replay attack, spoofing attack and so on. In addition, the proposed protocol is proper for distributed database environment.

  • Recently, as IT technologies developed, communication technologies of a various forms that satisfied convenience of user are being researched. Among various research, unlike traditional forms of communication, M2M communication is getting attention that without any control or involvement of people to establish communication between devices. However, the M2M communication could more easily be exposed to many security problems such as data exposure, data theft, unauthorized change and delete and privacy. Therefore, in this paper, we derive security requirements and propose the M2M communication architecture that provide a secure M2M communication environment. Also, we propose a secure mutual authentication and key establishment protocol between a M2M device or gateway domain and a M2M network domain. The proposed protocol is secure against replay attack, impersonation attack and protect a user privacy and tracing.

  • Generally home networks are based on wired network and wireless network. This makes customers be capable of using electric home appliances and full-duplex multimedia services and controlling the machines without any restrictions of place or time. Now that the scope of home security is being extended, the home networks can be formed with not only personal computer but also home automation, electric home appliances, and etc. But this causes many of attacks of invasion and damages. Therefore in this paper we suggest the SSIP(Secure Session Initiate protocol) model for solving those problems. The SSIP model is able to provide an efficient authentication and reduce the time of session re-establishment and set-up by adding ability of SIP authentication to Cluster-to-Cluster environment performed on home gateway.

  • This paper proposes a smart phone authentication method based on user's behavior and habit that is an authentication method against shoulder surfing attack and brute force attack. As smart phones evolve not only storage of personal data but also a key means of financial services, the importance of personal information security in smart phones is growing. When user authentication of smart phone, pattern authentication method is simple to use and memorize, but it is prone to leak and vulnerable to attack. Using the features of the smart phone pattern method of the user, the pressure applied when touching the touch pad with the finger, the size of the area touching the finger, and the time of completing the pattern are used as feature vectors and applied to user authentication security. First, a smart phone user models and stores three parameter values as prototypes for each section of the pattern. Then, when a new authentication request is made, the feature vector of the input pattern is obtained and compared with the stored model to decide whether to approve the access to the smart phone. The experimental results confirm that the proposed technique shows a robust authentication security using subjective data of smart phone user based on habits and behaviors.

  • EAP provides authentication for each entity based on IEEE Std 802.1x Wireless lAN and RADIUS/DIAMETER protocol, and it uses certificate, dual scheme(e.g., password and token) with the authentication method. The password-based authentication scheme for authenticated key exchange is the most widely-used user authentication method due to various advantages, such as human-memorable simplicity, convenience, mobility, A specific hardware device is also unnecessary, This paper discusses user authentication via public networks and proposes the Split Password-based Authenticated Key Exchange (SPAKE), which is ideal for both authenticating users and exchanging session keys when using a subsequent secure communication over untrusted network, And then we provides EAP authentication framework EAP-SPAKE by using it.

  • Now, It is vulnerabilities and problems of adaption in user identification and authentication on the Web environments; the BAA(Basic Access Authentication) of HTTP1.0 is that use. ID and password is passed with clear-text between client and server, For this enhancement, the DAA(Digest Access Authentication) of HTTP1.1 is that use. password is digested by MAC(Message Authentication Code) mechanism. but, this mechanism is not adapted by venders of Web browsers. This paper propose the lava based user identification and authentication model to resolve the above problems. Proposed systems are applied to the Web environment, since it has independence to web server and client.
