Locality-Sensitive Hashing for Data with Categorical and Numerical Attributes Using Dual Hashing

  • Locality-sensitive hashing techniques have been developed to efficiently handle nearest neighbor searches and similar pair identification problems for large volumes of high-dimensional data. This study proposes a locality-sensitive hashing method that can be applied to nearest neighbor search problems for data sets containing both numerical and categorical attributes. The proposed method makes use of dual hashing functions, where one function is dedicated to numerical attributes and the other to categorical attributes. The method consists of creating indexing structures for each of the dual hashing functions, gathering and combining the candidates sets, and thoroughly examining them to determine the nearest ones. The proposed method is examined for a few synthetic data sets, and results show that it improves performance in cases of large amounts of data with both numerical and categorical attributes.

차세대 검색서비스의 속성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Features of the Next Generation Search Services)

  • 최근 정보검색 환경은 검색 2.0으로 대표되는 차세대 검색서비스에 대한 논의들이 활발해지고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 정보검색의 발전과 진화에 대한 다양한 논의들을 토대로 정보검색의 발전 과정을 구분하였다. 그리고 현재 거론되고 있는 차세대 검색서비스의 등장 배경, 주요 개념, 그리고 관련 사례와 속성을 파악하였으며, 이러한 속성과 사례에 대한 데이터를 통해 차세대 검색서비스를 설명하는 핵심적인 키워드를 확인하기 위한 군집 분석을 수행하였다. 군집 분석의 결과 차세대 검색서비스를 대표하는 주요 키워드는 소셜 검색, 지능형 의미 검색, 그리고 관계기반 검색 등으로 나타났다.

인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 소비자의 워험지각과 정보탐색에 관한 연구 (Consumer′s Perceived Risk and Information Search in Internet Shopping)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze consumers' perceived risk and information search behaviors in internet shopping. For this purpose, survey was conducted on 302 consumers in their 20s and 30s who had internet shopping experience. This study found that consumers' perceived risk was significantly related to their gender, educational level, income, credit card use, period of internet un, number of internet shopping experiences, and purchased product. Consumers' search behaviors were also significantly affected by gender, age, educational level, income, period of internet use, and purchased product. In addition, a higher level of consumers' perceived risk was significantly related to the amount of information search on product attributes themselves rather than on general information search such as the number of sites or the number of brands.

  • 본 연구는 SNS채널속성에 따라 검색의도가 구매행동에 미치는 관계를 분석하고자 SNS채널을 최근 1년 이내에 상품을 구매한 사용자를 대상으로 하여 구매행동을 설문조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 분석한 연구결과는 SNS채널속성에서 정보제공성과 정보상호작용성은 검색의도에 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 정보의 신뢰성은 검색의도에 유의적인 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. SNS채널의 이용자를 통해 구매행동을 높이기 위해서는 정보신뢰성과 정보제공성도 주요시되고 있으나 그 보다도 더 중요한 것은 SNS채널 검색의도라고 볼 수 있다. 검색의도는 정보신뢰성과 정보제공성을 높이는 조절효과를 함으로 단순히 SNS채널의 속성을 높이는데 이어 정보제공성과 정보상호작용을 높여 검색의도를 높이는 것도 중요하다고 볼 수 있다.

온라인 의복구매를 위한 소비자 정보탐색의 경로분석적 탐구 (A Path Analytic Exploration of Consumer Information Search in Online Clothing Purchases)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 의사결정과정에서 온라인 쇼핑속성, 정보원 및 구매의도와 관련된 소비자 정보탐색의 경로모델을 밝히고자 하였다. 연구대상은 미국 남서부지역의 대학교에 재학중인 대학생으로 표본으로 설문조사 하였으며, 총 219명의 이용 가능한 자료가 수집되었다. 자료분석을 위해 요인분석과 LISREL8.53을 이용하여 경로분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 소비자의 온라인 의복구매를 위한 정보원은 온라인 정보원, 소매점 정보원, 대중매체의 세 가지 유형으로 분류되었다. 특히, 온라인 의복구매를 위해 소매점 정보원(점포내 디스플레이, 제조업체의 팜플렛 또는 카달로그)을 더 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 추정된 경로모델을 살펴보면, 온라인 쇼핑속성의 중요도가 정보탐색에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 특히 온라인 의복 구매시, 소비자의 온라인 정보원 이용은 거래관련속성 즉 구매유인서비스(incentive service)에 의해 가장 크게 영향을 받는 반면, 소매점 정보원 이용은 심미성, 가격 등의 제품 및 시장관련속성의 중요도에 의해 더 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소비자의 세가지 탐색유형 모두 구매의도에 정적인 효과를 보이고 있었으며, 다른 정보원에 비해, 소매점 정보원 이용이 온라인 의복구매의도에 가장 큰 효과를 보였다. 따라서, 본 연구는 온라인 쇼핑속성별 소비자의 차별화된 정보탐색 패턴이 온라인 구매의도를 증가시키고 있음을 확인함으로써, 의류제품의 멀티채널 소매전략(Multi-channel retailing) 방향이 논의되었다.

Shortest Path Search Scheme with a Graph of Multiple Attributes

  • 그래프 이론에서 최소비용 경로는 시작 노드와 도착 노드 사이의 최단 경로를 탐색하여 구한다. 최소비용은 두 노드 사이의 거리나 가격의 차이를 1차원 값으로 계산하며 연결된 노드 사이의 최소비용의 합을 구성하는 노드와 간선이 최단 경로다. 그러나 각 노드가 다중속성을 갖는 경우에는 경로에서 나타날 수 있는 비용의 종류 또한 속성의 개수만큼이므로 최단 경로를 판단하기에는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 다양한 요구사항을 만족할 수 있도록 유클리드 거리를 사용하여 다중속성을 반영한 최단 경로 탐색 기법을 제안한다. 실험에서는 1차원 값에 대한 최단 경로와 2차원 속성에 대한 유클리드 거리를 이용한 최단 경로가 다르게 탐색 되었다. 다중 속성에서도 단일 속성과 차별화된 사용자의 선호 속성이 반영된 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 다중속성이 반영됨으로써 사용자의 다양한 요구사항을 만족시킬 수 있게 되었다.

기능성 소재 스포츠웨어 구입시의 정보이용행태 -의복 및 스포츠 관심의 영향- (Information Search Behavior in Functional Sportswear Purchasing -Focused on Clothing and Sports Concern-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the information search behavior in functional sportswear purchasing by clothing and sports concern variables. Functional sportswear means sportswear made of functional clothing materials. The information search behavior in this study included information sources, information seeking attributes, information search differences between when consumers buy functional sportswear and when they purchase nonfunctional sportswear, and information characteristics. For this purpose, 500 questionnaires had been distributed to university students and 409 of which were used in the study. For data analysis, frequency, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and t-test were used. The results were as follows: first, the friends showed to be the most effective information source of functional clothing materials sportswear and internet revealed to be the information source that made the most frequent use of. The experts appeared to be the most reliable information source. Second, the more the students were concerned about clothing and sports, the more important they considered information seeking attributes. Third, in the aspects of information search differences between when consumers bought functional sportswear and when they purchased nonfunctional sportswear, only sports concern variables showed to be significant. The last, regardless of clothing and sports concern variables, it was found that customers considered all the information characteristics important.

패션 점포의 서비스 품질 차원이 소비자 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Service Quality on Consumer Satisfaction of Fashion Retail Stores)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop service quality dimensions for fashion retail stores and to identify significant service quality dimensions influencing customers satisfaction for each fashion retail store. 687 young adults completed written questionnaires consisting of items related to service quality. For analysis of data, confirmatory factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, scheffe test, and stepwise regression analysis were applied. The results were as follows: 1. The service quality dimensions of fashion retail stores were tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, fashionability and variety, price, convenience, merchandise quality and credit card usability. Among those 10 main dimensions of service quality were grouped as experience attributes and search attributes. 2. In examination of the highest valuable service quality dimension based on the types of stores, imported fashion stores were evaluated the highest in terms of all factors except price, tangibles and credit card usability. 3. To predict consumer satisfaction, service quality dimensions such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, fashionability/variety, price, convenience, merchandise quality and credit card usability should be considered.

외식기업의 기능적 일치성이 정보탐색비용의 절감과 긍정적 감정, 부정적 감정 그리고 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Functional Congruence on the Information Search Cost Reduction, Positive Emotions, Negative Emotions, and Loyalty in Restaurant)

  • Purpose: Consumers' experience of functional attributes is remembered, and the experience lowers the cost of consumers' input from their point of view and reduces uncertainty. It also plays an important role in consumers' positive emotions and responses. Accordingly, if information search costs are reduced in terms of the costs perceived by consumers about restaurants, a strategy differentiated from other companies can be established. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of functional congruence of restaurant stores on information search cost reduction, positive/negative emotions, and loyalty. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This study investigated functional congruence, information search cost reduction, and positive/negative emotions. The structural relationship between loyalty was analyzed. To verify this, a research hypothesis was established based on previous studies and a research model was constructed. The questionnaire items were modified and used according to the current study, based on previous studies. The data were collected using the questionnaire method from 187 people who had dining out experience. Frequency analysis was performed to confirm demographic characteristics. Reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity of the collected data were verified. The research model was analyzed with a structural equation modeling (SmartPLS 4). Results: The findings show that functional congruence had significant positive effects on information search cost reduction and positive emotion, but no significant effect on negative emotion. Information search cost reduction had significant positive effects on positive emotion/negative emotion but did not significantly affect loyalty. Lastly, both positive and negative emotions had significant positive effects on loyalty. Conclusion: Based on transaction cost theory, this study found how functional congruence and information search cost reduction influence consumers' emotions. The functional attributes of restaurants were perceived by customers as information, thus uncertainty was decreased. Finally, appropriate management strategies and implications of functional congruence and information search cost in the restaurant were suggested.

남성소비자의 의복소비가치가 온라인 패션 편집매장의 특성 지각과 이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Male Consumer Clothing Consumption Values on the Perceived Attributes of Online Fashion Multi-brand Store and Use Intention)

  • This study sought to understand the clothing consumption values of male consumers and analyze the attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores. The study examined the effect of clothing consumption values of male consumers on the perceived attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores and use intention. The study also aimed to investigate whether online information search moderated the relationship between the perceived attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores and use intention. An online survey of male consumers in their 20s and 30s was conducted, and a total of 338 responses were analyzed. The SPSS 24.0 program was used to perform frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and stepwise-regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, fashionableness out of the four attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores (fashionableness, entertainment, variety, and scarcity) influenced the practical and conspicuous values of clothing consumption values. Entertainment had a significant effect on all clothing consumption values. Variety had a significant impact on practical and conspicuous values and the scarcity factor influenced epistemic and conspicuous values. Second, while entertainment, variety, and scarcity influenced sharing intention, fashion, entertainment, and variety influenced purchase intention. Third, online information search moderated the relationship between the perceived attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores and sharing intention but not purchase intention.
