The purpose of this study is to develop effective models for performance assesment in the subject of mathematics, In this study, a procedural model was created through selecting five evaluation methods that are the most relevant to evaluate mathematics comprehension. Also this study provides the application of procedural model over the span of an academic semester.

The main purpose of this study is to classify types of class using computer in the school mathematics classroom. For this purpose, we will first survey the Tyle's theory relate to the curriculum model and its details. Then we will investigate the crucial points using computer in the school mathematics classroom in the viewpoint of Glaser's teaching model. From this, we will device several types of mathematics class using computer.

수학의 논증수학과 실용수학으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 우리나라의 수학은 실용수학에서 논증수학으로 그 성질이 변해 왔다고 볼 수 있는데 그 계기가 된 것이 개화기이다. 개화기에 새로운 수학이 등장하면서 겪게 된 변화를 살펴 본 결과, 첫째, 수학서의 내용과 형식은 서구의 방식을 따랐으나 수학을 대하는 태도는 전통적인 방식을 그대로 따랐다는 것, 둘째, 결과를 중요시하는 방식에 익숙해 과정을 중요시하는 증명을 어렵게 생각한다는 것, 셋째, 수학 그 자체를 즐기는 수학 문화가 필요하다는 결론에 이르게 되었다.

The purposes of this study were to find out coping behavior to mathematics anxiety depending on grade, sex, mathematics achievement, and mathematics anxiety in elementary school students and to find out the variables influencing coping behavior to mathematics anxiety. 991 students (grade: 4, 5, 6) completed questionnaires about mathematics anxiety and coping behavior to mathematics anxiety. Their home room teachers completed scores of the mathematics achievement test of their students. Data were analyzed by F-test, t-test, correlation and step wise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences in coping behavior to mathematics depending on grade, mathematics achievement and level of mathematics anxiety except for sex. Second, the level of mathematics anxiety was the most important factor in coping behavior to mathematics.

Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the orthogonally additive-quartic functional equation (0.1) $f(2x+y)+f(2x-y)=4f(x+y)+4f(x-y)+10f(x)+14f(-x)-3f(y)-3f(-y)$ for all $x$, $y$ with $x{\perp}y$, in non-Archimedean Banach spaces. Here ${\perp}$ is the orthogonality in the sense of R$\ddot{a}$tz.

Schools are expected to ultimately moderate the difference of inequality issues among social groups and reduce the achievement gaps. This study investigates this expectation, in particular, how students' mathematics achievements are influenced by their parents' education at the individual level and by collective responsibility for teaching at the school level as well as the interaction of the two. Using a two-level hierarchical linear model, this study indicates that a school collective responsibility has a larger positive effect on students' mathematics achievement when their parents' education level is high. This means that school's collective responsibility accelerates inequity in students' mathematics achievement. Knowing that collective responsibility has less of an effect on students whose parents' education is not high, researchers, schools, and school districts should continue to search for school effects that have more of a positive impact on the relationship between mathematics achievement for students whose parents' education is not high in order to have more equitable results for all students.

Let f : ${\mathbb{R}}{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{C}}$. We consider the Hyers-Ulam stability of Jensen type functional inequality $$|f(px+qy)-Pf(x)-Qf(y)|{\leq}{\epsilon}$$ in the half planes {(x, y) : $kx+sy{\geq}d$} for fixed d, k, $s{\in}{\mathbb{R}}$ with $k{\neq}0$ or $s{\neq}0$. As consequences of the results we obtain the asymptotic behaviors of f satisfying $$|f(px+qy)-Pf(x)-Qf(y)|{\rightarrow}0$$ as $kx+sy{\rightarrow}{\infty}$.

In late 19C, German mathematician Felix Klein declaired "Erlangen program" to reform mathematics education in Germany. The main ideas of "Erlangen program" contain the importance of instructing the concepts of functions and groups in school mathematics. After one century from that time, the importance of concepts of groups revived by Bourbaki in the sense of the algebraic structure which is the most important structure among three structures of mathematics - algebraic structure. ordered structure and topological structure. Since then, many mathematicians and mathematics educators devoted to work with the concepts of group for school mathematics. This movement landed on Korea in 21C, and now, the concepts of groups appeared in element mathematics text as plane rigid motion. In this paper, we state the rigid motions centered the symmetry - an important notion in group theory, then summarize the results obtained from some classroom activities. After that, we discuss the responses of children to concepts of groups.of groups.

In this paper we represented the results of surveying on the present condition of mathematics education and the contents of the mathematics text books that are usually taught in Art High Schools interest in mathematics subjects and to achieve the higher level of mathematical abilities. We would like to raise their interest in mathematics and to improve the efficiency of teaching level on the basis of the 7th Mathematics Curriculum Revision. Some suggestions are of offered by considering the level of their mathematical abilities in Art High Schools and the present contents of the mathematical subjects from following views ⑴ the aspect of studying method ⑵ the aspect of revising contents of mathematics textbooks for them ⑶ the aspect of educational policies for Art High Schools
