초등학교 과학 탐구 수업 실행의 저해 요인에 대한 교사들의 인식 분석 (Analysis of Elementary Teachers' Views on Barriers in Implementing Inquiry-based Instructions)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 과학과 탐구 수업 실행의 저해 요인에 대한 교사들의 인식을 조사하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 위해 경기도에서 5년 이상 근무경력을 가진 초등 교사 22명을 대상으로 반구조화된 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 면담 질문은 자료의 삼각측정법을 통해 신빙성을 확보할 수 있도록 Seidman(1998)의 면담 단계에 따라 생성하였으며, 예비 면담을 통해 분석적 유도 방법으로 면담 질문을 수정 보완하였다. 면담은 개별로 진행되었으며 모든 면담 내용은 녹음 및 기록하였다. 연구 결과는, 외적 저해 요인과 내적저해 요인으로 분석되었다. 외적 요인으로 교사들이 제시한 내용은 시간 부족, 시설 및 자료의 부족, 학생의 능력 부족, 다인수 학급, 교육과정 상의 문제점, 탐구에 대한 평가의 어려움, 선행학습으로 인한 방해, 안전사고의 위험성, 전문성 향상 기회 부족이었다. 내적 저해 요인으로는 교사의 준비 부족, 탐구 수업의 비효율성, 교사의 배경지식 부족, 교사의 지도능력 부족, 자신감 부족, 인내심 부족 등이었다. 교사들이 제시한 저해 요인들과 그 원인을 심도있게 분석하였고 과학교육학의 관점에서 탐구교육의 활성화를 위한 제언을 하였다.

  • 현대 사회는 뜻밖의 사고와 위험 상황으로 불안정한 환경에 직면하고 있다. 예를 들어 분당 다리 붕괴사고와 이태원 압사사고 등이 그 예가 될 것이다. 이와 함께 급성심정지나 뇌졸중과 같은 중대한 응급상황이 발생하였을 때, 신속한 조치와 전문 의료 기관으로의 원활한 이송이 필요한 경우 또한 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 이러한 위험 요소에 대응하기 위해 국가는 국민의 생명과 안전을 보호하기 위한 다양한 시스템을 구축하고 있는데, 119구급대는 응급 의료 시스템 중 핵심적인 역할을 수행한다. 중대한 외상 환자나 중증 질환 환자의 응급 상황에 즉각적으로 대응하여 손상을 최소화하고, 응급의료 기관으로 신속하게 이송하여 전문적인 치료를 제공함으로써 환자의 생명과 안전을 보호하는 것이 그 목표이다. 이와 관련된 핵심 활동이 구급활동인 것이다. 특히, 119구급시스템은 응급 환자의 병원 이송을 책임지는 핵심 기관이나, 구급대원들은 업무수행 중 구급활동 방해 사례에 여전히 직면하고 있다. 이러한 방해 사례는 경찰의 협조 노력에도 불구하고 줄어들지 않고 있고, 구급활동은 공무집행 방해죄와 유사한 특성을 지니며, 응급의료 시스템 내에서 근무하는 응급의료 종사자에 대한 폭행 및 장비 파손과 같은 사례와도 유사한 형태를 보인다. 따라서 119구급시스템을 포함한 응급 의료 활동을 수행하는 과정에서 발생하는 방해 문제에 대한 심층적인 이해와 개선 노력이 필요하다. 이러한 문제에 대한 해결책은 "소방기본법"과 "119구조·구급에 관한 법률"을 중심으로 구급활동 방해죄의 조건을 정립하고 개선하는 것이다.

겨울철 영동지역 눈 결정 습성과 성상 변화 에피소드 분석 (Episode Analysis of the Habit and Phase Changes of Snow Crystals in the Wintertime Yeongdong Region)

  • The Yeongdong region has suffered from severe snowstorms and the relevant damage such as traffic accidents on slippery roads, and the collapse of greenhouses and temporary buildings. While a lot of research on snowfall has been conducted, the detailed study of snow crystals' phase and habit through intensive observations and the relevant microphysical analysis is still lacking. Therefore, a snowflake camera, PARSIVEL, and intensive radiosonde soundings were utilized to investigate phase and habit changes in solid precipitation. Two remarkable episodes of phase and habit changes were selected such as 19 March 2022 and 15 February 2023. Both events occurred in the synoptic condition of the High in the north and the Low passing by the south, which was accompanied by rapid temperature cooling below 2.5 km. During the events of a short period between 3 to 6 hours, the temperature at 850 hPa decreased by about 4 to 6℃. This cooling led to a change in the main habit of snow particles from riming to aggregate, identified with both MASC and PARSIVEL. Meanwhile, the LDAPS model analyses do not successively represent the rapid cooling and short-term variations of solid precipitation, probably by virtue of overestimating low-level equivalent potential temperature during these periods. The underlying causes of these the low-level temperature variations within 6 hours, still remain unclear. It might be associated with mesoscale orographic phenomenon due to the mountains and East Sea effects, which certainly needs an intensive and comprehensive observation campaign.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업안전보건법에 따라 유해·위험 설비 사업자가 제출하여 공정안전관리 전담기관으로부터 승인받은 공정안전보고서의 데이터를 기반으로 사업장 안전성 향상을 위한 인공지능 통합 공정안전관리(PSM) 시스템 설계를 위한 가이드라인을 제안하였다. 제안된 가이드라인으로 구성되는 시스템은 단일사업장 또는 다수의 사업장을 운영하는 사업자와 공정안전관리 전담기관에 각각 구축하며, 데이터 수집·전처리, 확장 및 분할, 레이블링, 학습 데이터 셋구축 등의 주요 구성 요소와 단계로 구성하였다. 각 공정에서 발생하는 공정 운영 데이터 및 변경 허가 승인 데이터의 수집이 가능하며, 사업장 운영에서 발생하는 모든 데이터의 분석을 통해 잠재적인 고장 예측 및 유지보수 계획을 수립하여, 공정 운전 상황에서의 의사 결정 지원이 가능하다. 또한, 정확하고 신뢰할 수 있는 학습 데이터, 특화된 데이터 셋을 이용하여 시간 및 비용 절감, 인적 오류를 포함한 다양한 위험 요소 감지와 예측, 지속적인 모델 개선 등에 유용성과 효과를 갖으며, 이를 통해 작업장 안전성 향상 및 사고 예방이 가능하다.

실습선 재난 시 피난 시나리오 별 위험구역 평가 (Evaluation of Hazardous Zones by Evacuation Scenario under Disasters on Training Ships)

  • 승선 인원이 많은 실습선은 화재가 발생하는 경우 대형 인명피해로 확장될 수 있으며 이에 따라 선원법 및 Safety Life At Sea(SOLAS)에서는 퇴선 훈련에 대한 중요성을 강조해 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 승선 인원이 많은 국립목포해양대학교의 세계로호를 대상선박으로 선정하여 preliminary hazard analysis(PHA) 정성적 위험성 평가 기법을 통해 각 deck의 화재 사고 위험빈도와 심각성에 대하여 예측하였다. 또한 위험성이 높은 구역에서의 화재를 가정 한 뒤, 그 위험성을 정량적으로 예측하기 위하여 대피 시간 및 인구 밀도에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 총 대피시간이 인구 분포가 한 구역에 집중되어 있던 식사 시간을 가정한 시나리오에서 501초로 가장 길게 예측되었으며 시나리오에 따라 일부 deck에서 1.4pers/m2 이상의 상대적으로 높은 인구밀도를 나타내며 대피 인원이 정체되는 현상을 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 다양한 피난 시나리오에 따른 대피시간 및 인구밀도를 정량화하여 실습선의 상황에 맞는 훈련 시나리오를 개발하기 위한 기초자료로서 사용될 것으로 보이며 추후 수학적 모델과 실험값의 비교를 통하여 연구를 확장할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • 산업현장에서 체험형 가상훈련 콘텐츠는 고위험, 고비용의 훈련을 대체하기 위해 일부 활용되기도 하고, 비대면 산업의 수요 증가와 함께 가상훈련 콘텐츠 개발도 활발해지고 있다. 기존 연구들은 주로 설문조사를 통한 양적 연구에 집중하여 이용자의 학습 몰입 변화를 측정하는 데 그쳤다. 본 연구는 이원적 직업훈련 환경에서 이론 교육과 가상훈련의 결합이 실제 직무 수행능력 향상에 미치는 영향을 실험연구를 수행하여 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 기업과 학교를 오가며 참여하게 되는 이원적 직업훈련(일과 학습을 병행)에서 이론교육과 가상훈련의 결합이 직업훈련의 성과를 높일 수 있는지에 대해 연구하였다. 직업훈련 교육생 기계과 24명을 대상으로 전통적인 직업훈련과 가상훈련 콘텐츠를 활용한 직업훈련에 대한 사전사후 평가결과를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 전통적인 직업훈련에 비해 가상훈련 방식의 교육의 성과가 더 높으며, 이론적인 교육에 가상현실 기반 교육의 결합이 더 효과적임을 실증하였다. 본 연구에서는 가상훈련 콘텐츠가 산업 안전 교육의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하고 있음을 시사하며, 훈련생들의 인터뷰 결과를 통해 가상훈련이 단순히 지식 전달을 넘어, 안전에 대한 태도 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 산업 현장의 안전 사고 예방에 기여하고, 직업 훈련의 질적 향상을 위한 중요한 시사점을 제공한다.

국민학교(國民學校) 교과서내(敎科書內)의 보건교육내용(保健敎育內容) 및 그 습득도(習得度) (Contents of Health Education for Pupils and the Perceptibility after Graduation of Primary School)

  • 보건교육(保健敎育)에 관한 상태(狀態)를 파악(把握)하기 위하여 국민학교과정(國民學校過程)을 대상(對象)으로 보건관계(保健關係) 사항(事項)들을 조사(調査)하고 그 과정(過程)을 이수(履修)한 중학교(中學校) 입학직후(入學直後)의 보건지식(保健知識) 수준(水準)을 측정(測定)하였다. 보건지식(保健知識) 측정(測定)은 표준, 동아 수련장에서 선택(選擇)한 문제(問題)로 50개(個) 문항(問項)을 택(擇)한 설문지(設問紙)를 담임교사를 통(通)하여 설문(設問) 하였으며 총(總) 대상학생수(對象學生數)는 도시학생(都市學生) 491명(名) 농촌학생(農村學生) 468명(名), 총(總) 959명(名)으로 1984년(年) 4월(月) 10일(日)부터 5월(月) 10일(日) 사이에 실시(實施)하였다. 국민학교(國民學校) 전(全) 학년(學年), 전(全) 과목(科目)에서의 보건(保健)에 관한 항목(項目)은 총(總) 782건(件)으로 내용적(內容的)으로 분류(分類)해 보면 정신보건(精神保健)과 운동(運動) 및 휴식(休息) 에 관한 건(件)이 가장 많고, 다음으로 환경보건(環境保健), 보건생활(保健生活)이며, 사고(事故), 개인위생(個人衛生), 영양(營養) 및 음식(飮食), 사회의학(社會醫學) 및 보건기구(保健機構), 생리학(生理學) 및 해부학(解剖學), 보학통계(保學統計), 인구문제(人口問題), 질병관리(疾病管理), 식품위생(食品衛生), 학교보건(學校保健), 기생충(寄生蟲) 및 전염병관리(傳染病管理), 우생학(優生學) 및 유전학(遺傳學) 순(順)이었다. 학과목별(學科目別)로 보면 국어(國語)에는 총(總) 114건중(件中) 정신보건(精神保健)이 44.7%, 가장 많이 포함(包含)되고, 산수(算數)에는 총(總) 26건중(件中) 보건통계(保健統計)가 46.4%로, 사회(社會)에는 총(總) 118건중(件中) 환경보건(環境保健)이 23.1%로, 자연(自然)에 있어서는 총(總) 30건중(件中) 생리학(生理學) 및 해부학(解剖學)이 60.1%로, 도덕(道德)에는 총(總) 176건중(件中) 정신보건(精神保健)이 40.3%로, 음악(音樂)에 있어서는 총(總) 23건중(件中)에 정신보건(精神保健), 사고(事故)가 각각(各各) 21.8%씩 차지했고 미술(美術)에는 총(總) 28건중(件中) 운동(運動) 및 휴식(休息)이 42.9%로, 체육(體育)에는 총(總) 201건중(件中) 운동(運動) 및 휴식(休息)이 38.6%로, 실과(實科)에 있어서는 총(總) 61건중(件中) 영양(營養) 및 음식(陰食)이 36.2%로 가장 많이 포함(包含)되어 있었으며 국사(國史)에는 사회의학(社會醫學) 및 보건기구(保健機構) 뿐 다른것은 없었다. 보건사항(保健事項)의 總(總) 건수중(件數中) 과목별(科目別)로 보면 체육(體育) 25.8%, 도덕(道德) 22.5%, 사회(社會) 15.1%, 국어(國語) 14.6%, 실과(實科) 7.8%, 자연(自然) 3.8%, 미술(美術) 3.6%, 산수(算數) 3.3%, 음악(音樂) 2.9%, 국사(國史) 0.6%의 순(順)이었다. 전학년별(全學年別)로는 6학년(學年) 29.1%, 4학년(學年) 21.2%, 5학년(學年) 18.9%, 3학년(學年) 11.6%, 1학년(學年) 11.5%, 2학년(學年)의 7.7%의 순(順)이었다. 보건문제(保健問題)가 관련된 과(課)는 평균(平均) 35.4%이었으며 학년별(學年別)로 보면 4학년(學年), 6학년(學年)이 각각(各各) 38.2%로 최고(最高)였고 2학년(學年)이 29.3%로 최하(最下)였다. 체육(體育)에는 전(全) 과(課)에 포함(包含)되어 있었다. 보건(保健)에 관한 지식습득도(知識習得度)로 보면 도시학생(都市學生)의 평균점수(平均點數)는 56.3점(點)이고 농촌학생(農村學生)의 평균(平均)은 53.9점(點)으로써 두 집단간(集團間)의 지식습득도(知識習得度)에는 유의(有意)한 차(差)가 있었다.

허베이 스피릿호 유류유출사고 지역 산모의 BTEX 노출과 건강영향 (BTEX Exposure and its Health Effects in Pregnant Women Following the Hebei Spirit Oil Spill)

  • Objectives : We evaluated the health effects of exposure to BTEX(Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, m,p-Xylene, o-Xylene) in the Taean area after the Hebei Spirit oil spill. Methods : We used a questionnaire survey to look for health effects among 80 pregnant women 2 to 3 months following the Hebei Spirit oil spill. Their BTEX exposures were estimated using the CALPUFF method. We then used a multiple logistic regression analysis to evaluate the effects of BTEX exposure on the women s health effets. Results : Pregnant women who lived near the accident site reported more symptoms of eye irritation and headache than those who lived farther from the site. There was a trend of decreasing symptoms with an increase in distance from the spill site. Pregnant women exposed to higher ambient cumulative levels of Xylene were significantly more likely to report symptoms of the skin(OR 8.01 95% CI=1.74-36.76) in the first day after the accident and significantly more likely to report abdominal pain(OR 3.86 95% CI=1.02-14.59 for Ethylbenzene, OR 6.70 95% CI=1.82-24.62 for Xylene) during the 1st through 4th days following the accident. Conclusions : This study suggests that exposure to BTEX from an oil spill is correlated with an increased risk of health effects among pregnant women. This implies the need to take proper measures, including the development of a national policy for environmental health emergencies and a plan for studying the short- and long-term chronic health effects associated with such spills.

Management of Patients with Traumatic Rupture of the Diaphragm

  • Background: Traumatic rupture of the diaphragm is an unusual type of trauma. In addition, it is difficult to diagnose because it can be accompanied by injuries to other organs. If it is not detected early, the mortality rate can increase due to serious complications. Diaphragmatic rupture is an important indicator of the severity of the trauma. The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the incidence of complications and mortality in patients who had surgery to treat traumatic rupture of the diaphragm. Materials and Methods: The subjects were patients who had undergone a diaphragmatic rupture by blunt trauma or stab wounds except patients who were transferred to other hospitals within 3 days of hospitalization, from January 2000 to December 2007. This study was a retrospective study. 43 patients were hospitalized, and 40 patients were included during the study period. Among them, 28 were male, 12 were female, and the average age was 42 (from 18 to 80). Outcome predictive factors including hypoxia, ventilator application days, revised trauma score (RTS), injury severity score (ISS), age, herniated organs, complications, and the mortality rate were investigated. Results: Causes of trauma included motor vehicle crashes for 20 patients (50%), falls for 10 (25%), stab wounds for 8 (20%), and agricultural machinery accidents for 2 (5%). Most of the patients (36 patients; 90%) had wound sites on the left. Diagnosis was performed within 12 hours for most patients. The diaphragmatic rupture was diagnosed preoperatively in 27 patients (70%) and in 12 patients (30%) during other surgeries. For surgical treatment, thoracotomy was performed in 14 patients (35%), laparotomy in 11 (27.5%), and a surgery combining thoracotomy and laparotomy in 15 patients (37.5%). Herniated organs in the thoracic cavity included the stomach for 23 patients (57.5%), the omentum for 15 patients (37.5%), the colon for 10 patients (25%), and the spleen for 6 patients (15%). Accompanying surgeries included splenectomy for 13 patients (32.5%), lung suture for 6 patients (15%), and liver suture for 5 patients (12.5%). The average hospital stay was $47.80{\pm}56.72$ days, and the period of ventilation was $3.90{\pm}5.8$ days. The average ISS was $35.90{\pm}16.81$ (11~75), and the average RTS was $6.46{\pm}1.88$ (1.02~7.84). The mortality rate was 17.5% (7 patients). Factors affecting complications were stomach hernia and age. Factors affecting the mortality rate were ISS and RTS. Conclusion: There are no typical symptoms of the traumatic rupture of the diaphragm by blunt trauma. Nor are there any special methods of diagnosis; in fact, it is difficult to diagnose because it accompanies injuries to other organs. Stab wounds are also not easy to diagnose, though they are relatively easy to diagnose compared to blunt trauma because the accompanying injuries are more limited. Suture of the diaphragm can be performed through the chest, the abdomen, or the thoracoabdomen. These surgical methods are chosen based on accompanying organ injuries. When there are many organ injuries, there are a great number of complications. Significant factors affecting the complication rate were stomach hernia and age. ISS and RTS were significant as factors affecting the mortality rate. In the case of severe trauma such as pelvic fractures, frequent physical examinations and chest X-rays are necessary to confirm traumatic rupture of the diaphragm because it does not have specific symptoms, and there are no clear diagnosis methods. Complications and the mortality rate should be reduced with early diagnosis and with treatment by confirming diaphragmatic rupture in the thoracic cavity and the abdomen during surgery.

일부(一部) 중학생(中學生)의 성(性)에 대한 의식행태조사(意識行態調査) (A study on the Awareness and Behavior about Sex of Middle School Students -from middle school students in Taegu area-)

  • A survey was made of 976 students who were selected among students of 5 middle schools at Taegu so that it could furnish basic knowledge about sex education of adolescents by analyzing students recognition of sex, acquaintance with the opposite-sex, sex-education, The survery took a month from Nov. 1, to Nov 30, 1991. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. The general characteristics of the surveyed students. The survey consisted of 332 boys middle school student & 325 girls middle school students, 157 male & 162 female students of coeducational middle schools. 32.9% of them were from the first grade, 33.2% from the second grade & 33.9% from the third grade. 35.7% of them believed in Buddhism, 19% Christianism and the mode of their living standard, 86.7%, fell on 34.7% of their parents engaged in commerce and they were followed by salary man and public officals, 93.1 % of the students, parents were alive. 44.9% of their fathers were graduates of high school and 42.2% of their mothers middle school. 2. Sexual maturity 89.1 % of the surveyed girls had experienced menstruation. The mode of first menstruation, 48.2%, was at the age of 13 and the mean of it was 12.9, 3.7% the surveyed boys had exprienced a wet drem before. The mode of the first wet dream, 40.0%, was at the age of 14 and the mean was 13.4. 21.3% of surveyed students had the experience of masturbation but the number of girls fell far short of that boys. The mode of the first masturbation, 37.0%, was at the age of 14 and the mean was 13.4. 3. The acquaintance and sexual relations with the opposite sex 1) Analyzing the students actual conditions with the opposite, I found out that 52.3% of them wanted to have any kind of relations with the opposite and that 30.25 had already had some kind of relations. 73.2% of the students having relations with the opposite thought the other sex merely as a friend and the number of students who were thinking that way was distributed evenly among schools. 28.8% of the students had got acquainted with the other sex through their frieds and there were not much difference between boys and girls in the method of getting acquainated with the opposite. About 35.2% of the students having relations with the opposite came from the third grade. 47.8% of them answered that the meeting place was not fixed and 26.4% answered that they were meeting their parthers outdoors. 60.7% replyed that they were not disturbed in their studies by the relations with the other sex. 2) Most of the students 79.4%, answered that they had never had sexual relations and 16.3% of the rest said that thery were expressing their feelings by grasping each other's hand. 3) 16.6% of the surveyed students asid that they had the exprience of smoking, 1.1 % of an illusion caused by inhaling chemical addhesives, 44.0% of drinking and 41.4% of warching pornographic films. 4. The knowledge and attitude about the sex 1) The distribution and analysis according to schools and grades : 64.8% of the surveyed students answered correctly to the questions about mensturation, 49.3 % did so about wet dreams, 94.3 % did so about conception, 60.6% did so about child birth, 73.9% did so about AIDS and 50.1 % did so about sexual diseases. Roughly speaking, they had not much knowledge of sexual diseases. 2) The recognition of sex according to schools and grades : 39.0% of the students said that they had worries about sex. 33.1 % of what they worried was concerned with their bodies and 26.8% was about the acqaintance and relationship with the opposite sex. The girls were much more concerned about the former and the boys the latter. 51.1 % of the students asid that they had no specific opinion of masturbation but 19.2% said that's alright if self-restrained. About the sexual intercourse before marriage, 75.7% said negatively. 5. The need for sex education most of the students, 99.4% said they needed sex education and there was not much difference in that thought among schools. And 49.7% answered that schools, families, and societies were equlally important in sex education. About half of the students, exactly 50.2%. considered it as the main reason of sex education to prevent accidents cauesd by ignorance of sex. 81.4% said that they had had some kind of sex education. Most of the educations, 87.0%, had taken place at schools but 5.2% said they were getting most of the knowledge about sex from therir friednds, juniors and seniors. 59.5% of the students who had ever had a sex education said "Just so, so" when asked of the level of their contentment but the number of students who said "satisfied" was only a few, 16.1 %. 20.7% of the survered answered that thery wanted sex education to be made in the course of home life, and 26.6 % of the students most wanted to know about the acquaintance and relationship with the oppostie sex, 29.0% preferred nurse teachers as proper councellors of sex education. The mode of their present councellors, 42.0%, was friends but only 7.6% answered they dicussed with teachers. 6. The correlation analysis between general characteristcs and sexual behaviors of the surveyed students revealed that sex had a signigicant(P<0.001) positive correlation with parents' love toward students(P<0.01), the experience of masturbation, smoking, an illusion caused by inhaling chemical adhesives and the experience of watching pornographic films. And the standard of living had a significant(P<0.01) positive correlation(P<0.01) with grade point average, parents' existence(P<0.01) and parents' love, but a significant(P<0.01) negative correlation with sexual worries. grade point average had a significant(P<0.01)negative correlation with the experience of an illusion caused by chemical adhesives(P<0.01) and smoking. Parents' existence had significant(P<0.01) positive correlations with parents' love and smoking but a significant(P<0.01) negative correlation with the experience of an illusion by chemical adhesives. There was a significant(P<0.01) negative correlations between parents' love and the experience of an illusion by chemical adhesives, and a significant(P<0.001) positive correlation among masturbation and sexual worries, smoking, an illusion by chemical adhesives and the experience of watching pornographic films. There was a significant(P<0.001) positive correlation among acquaintance with the opposite sex, smoking, the experience of an illusion by chemical adhesives and watching pornographic films. Sexual worries had significant(P<0.01) positive correlations with smoking, the experience of an illusion by chemical adhesives and watching pornographic films. smoking had a significant positive correlation with drinking the experirence of, an illusion by chemical adhesives and watching pornographic films. Finally, there was a significant(P<0.01) positive correlation between the drinking experience and the illusion experience by chemical adhesives. According to the results mentioned above, the fact is certain that there is a great need for sex education of adolescents. Therefore, it is desirable that the schools teach sexual physiology and normal positively and that sex education including hygien education be an independant course in the curriculums. Furthermore, it is essential that the schools should have enough nurse teachers to take up sex education, expand training opportunities for them and that they develop educational materials. Considering the unbalance of the level of sex educations between boys and girls, I want to suggest that all boys and girls have sex education evenly and lead happy lives by correction irrational thought about sex, that is to say, sex discrimination, Sex education programs, especially of middle school students, should be reexamined if it is to give the students effective and profitable knowledge about sex. In addition, the government should establish a policy of adolescents' sex education to have healthy opinions of sex settled nationwide.
