The main purpose of this study is to analyze construction of space through the investigation of the cases of school community library through Gangneung-si's life-learning project and the findings from the analysis could be summarized as below. Firstly, most space used for school community library has the size of two classes in school on average and locals use generally space for reference and learning at school community library. Secondly, the construction of space of school community library is categorized into one for book-returning, references, reading, group learning and information, and an audio-visual space is also used for group learning and reading. A space for book-returning has features based on the location of its entrance and a space for reading features stand-up and sitting-on space considering size and usability. And a space for group learning has the feature of space planning that makes it possible for local people to get library programs and seminars and a space for information shows its feature of space planning that uses the wall.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate current issues and prospects which emerged by the revision of School Library Promotion Act in 2018. Based on the analysis of government's teacher placement plan, the writer insist expansion of teacher librarian supply through undergraduate course and graduate school of education. And the necessity of teacher librarians' competency promotion for reading education and information literacy education and unification of divided manpower system come up for the taking root of school library manpower system.

The purpose of this study is to suggest practical plans to improve the school library consulting, especially in case of a teacher librarian is not assigned. As a result of analyses, consulting through methods of the School Library Assistant Group lacks spontaneity, expertise, council, and independence. Besides, each office of education operates it as a marketing. A main goal of school consulting is to foster independent problem- solving of individual schools. Accordingly, it is necessary to build an union management system, develop a standard staff manual, construct DLS based on-line consulting, and design educational training programs of consultants for its successful consulting.

The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development is propelling the establishment project of IBSLIS, Internet-based School library Information System for prepares a foundation of resource sharing and inter-school library loan, to improvement of DB construction's efficiency and to reduces a maintenance's burden of local information system. There is a necessity which it will evaluate demonstrative operating IBSLIS system for maximize to educational effect and to establish efficiently. This study aims to examine the case of using the social network services in the korea library, and then search the type of social network services and the status of it's introduction. It is used to the study of the introduction and the invigoration of social network services on the compatible library. First, we extracted the list of four type's high level management libraries from 2010 to 2012. Second, we examined the website's homepage of the list of 32's university library, 41's public library, 40's school library, 9's special library. Third, the result of analysis identified the feature and difference of the using the social network services of these libraries. Fourth, on the base of the result, it suggested some items of introduction's issue and the directions of future research.

The domestic and foreign standards of school libraries suggest that school library should be run to give useful and pleasant experiences to students. This study applies Csikszentmihalyi's 'flow theory' to analyze the relationships between students' flow experience and their satisfaction about school libraries use. The variables selected in this study are students' satisfaction, flow experience, library skill, challenge of library use, types of library use and students' learning styles. The research model is designed by using these 6 variables in this study. The data are collected from 293 students and analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of this study are as follows: The entire casual relationships show that library skills influence in types of library use, types of library use affect students' learning styles and students' learning styles influence in satisfaction through flow. To improve students' satisfaction about school library use, this study proposes effective ways related to teacher librarians' role performances to expand students' flow experience and increase their library skills.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate propriety of remodeling and present improvement as a case study of a school library. For this, we analyzed investigation of the process of it by selecting a school library which has been completed recently and surveyed user satisfaction after remodeling. According to the survey result, is shows that the user satisfaction of information service and education activity that are library's function and role are efficiently increased by remodeling. In case of the school library, on the other hand, it shows that the users still need not only the improvement of the space structure and aesthetic environment of the exterior and interior but also the expansion of the stuff and facility.

This study analyzed nineteen best-practices (161 sub-programs) regarding school library media program. The authors conducted content analysis based on The Library Media Specialist's Taxonomy and the CIPP Model. In the analysis of taxonomy showing the degree of involvement of librarian teachers, Level Seven indicating a concerted effort to promote school library program was the most important (37.6%). Among the ten levels of taxonomy, the highest level (levels 6 to 10, high involvement of librarians) accounted for 65.9%. According to the analysis of the CIPP Model, (Context) most of the excellent programs were aimed at reading education (41.5%) and library use education (11.3%), and more than half (53.8%) cases were initiated by learners' needs. (Input) excellence programs employed various teaching materials and were operated at fixed time. (Process) the programs were run in a variety of ways, mainly with reading instruction (30.4%) and cultural activities (17.3%). (Product) As a fruit of programs, students and parents' satisfaction, students' achievement, self-confidence, and self-improvement were reported.

This system adapted the Dublin Core based DLS-I metadata to accommodate teh network resources and conventional MARC, it will be able to use easily. But this system does not consider metadata for reading instruction that the important element of school library service. Thus, this study is review to the necessity of description on the reading and reading instruction beside of bibliographic data, extracts a metadata elements of reading and reading school library information system(DLS-I metadata)
