The purpose of this study is to analyze urban housewives' home management behavioral patterns focusing on the morphostatic and morphogenic in continuum, to estimate the level of their family life satisfaction and to determine the variables affecting family life satisfaction. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. The tendency is that the wives have controlled in value orientation, and home management behavioral patterns are neutral, and they are somewhat satisfied in terms of family life satisfaction. 2. As for the causal variables, marriage duration, the number of children education, employment status of wives, and value orientation influence on home management behavioural patterns. 3. The variables which affect family life satisfaction significantly are number of children, wives' education level, family income, employment status of wives and value orientation. 4. In analyzing relation between wives' home management behavioual patterns and their family life satisfaction, those who prefer morphostatic patterns have higer level of life satisfaction. 5. From the path analysis, it was found that monthly family income, employment status of wives, wives' educationn level, and value orientation had positive effects on family life satisfaction, and home management behavioral patterns had negative effects on family life satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to examine the factors related to satisfaction of users for the order communication system (OCS). The subjects of this study were 98 clerks at Chosun university hospital. The instruments used for this study were the conveniency and the practical application of the data developed by Lee, the satisfaction level developed by Sea Seang-mi and Kim in-sook. The data was analyzed by using the t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, Stepwise Multiple Regression with SPSS 10.0 program. The mean scores of the conveniency, the practical application of the data and the satisfaction level of user for the OCS was 3.28, 3.29 and 3.34, respectively. In general characteristics of the respondents, influencing factors to the perceived the conveniency of user for the OCS were gender, career and department. Purpose: The system of clinical education program of Korean academic of orthopedic manual physical therapy (KAOMPT) was changed in 2014. The purpose of this study was to compare the level of satisfaction of clinical education program in KAOMPT before and after the new program. Methods: The subjects of this study were consisted of the physical therapist who participated the education program of KAOMPT from 2013 to 2015. 7687 structured questionnaires were divided in the courses and analysed. Results: There were significant differences of level of satisfaction of introduction course (p<.05), cervico-thoracic course (p<.001), lumbo-sacral course (p<.001), upper extremity course (p<.001), lower extremity course (p<.001), and advance course (p<.001) for three years. The satisfaction of introduction course was decreased in 2014 than 2013, but it was restored in 2015. The satisfaction of cervico-thoracic course was decreased in 2014 than 2013, but it was increased in 2015 than in 2013. The satisfaction of lumbo-sacral course in 2014 was decreased than in 2013, but it was restored in 2015. The satisfaction of upper extremity course in 2014 was increased than in 2013, but it became same level with 2013 in 2015. The satisfaction of lower extremity course in 2014 was increased than in 2013, and it was maintained same level in 2015. The satisfaction of advance course in 2014 was decreased than in 2013, and it is maintained same level in 2015. Conclusions: The level of satisfaction of clinical education program was decreased in 2014, but it became same or higher level with 2013 in 2015. It is assumed that the new clinical education program of KAOMPT was established completely in 2015.
Purpose: The objective of this research was to explore the levels of patient satisfaction and job satisfaction according to the level of nurse manpower, in order to provide effective management for nurses. Methods: The research was conducted from November 1 to December 30, 2006, with a survey of 310 nurses and 240 patients at eight tertiary hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected according to the level of nurse manpower from the first (a nurse vs. patient ratio of below 2.0) to the sixth (a ratio of over 4.0) rank. The survey tools were used Park-Yoon's job satisfaction (1992) and Wandelt and Ager (1974)'s patient satisfaction. The acquired data were analyzed with SPSS $PC^+$ 12.0 program using descriptive methods, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANCOVA, and Scheffe. Results: Overall job satisfaction of nurses showed 3.10 and patient satisfaction of patients showed 4.15. Analysis based on the level of nurse manpower showed that hospitals of first and second rank had higher scores than those of lower rank for nurse's job satisfaction and patient satisfaction. Conclusion: Hospitals with a higher level of nurse manpower showed higher score of nurse's job satisfaction and patient satisfaction.
For this study, self-completion survey for 149 implant patients of dental clinics and hospitals in Seoul and Kyunggi areahas been executed in order to provide basic data for increasing patient satisfaction level by effective consultation and various information for the patients who want dental implantation. The conclusion of the study is like below. 1. In terms of demographics of the study, sample size of female patients(n=85) was more than that of male patients(n=64) and patients in their 50s were major age group. When it comes to the educational level, university graduates were 85 and high school graduates were 44. And 132 were married and 6 were single. In the income level, monthly income between KRW 2~4 million was major group(n=59). 2. In the study, patients' most concern was complication or adverse events(n=41), and price(n=39) & annual dental check-up(n=49) were following it. And 80 patients responded that dental health is the most valuable(n=80) and whole body health was following(n=37). In terms of knowledge on dental implant, 100 patients responded 'know just a little', 31 and 13 answered 'generally know' and 'well know' each. 3. As a result of analyzing implant patients' satisfaction level by segment, general satisfaction rate was highest as 4.20, social satisfaction rate was 4.20, psychological function was 4.06 and masticatory function was 3.90. 4. Based on the result of comparing patient satisfaction level by general characters of dental implant patient, chewing function was the highest in the age group of 60s with score of 4.21 and in terms of social function, the group with over KRW 8 million of monthly income showed highest score with 4.54. When it comes to the psychological function, patients in their 70s showed highest satisfaction level with 4.52. In the end, patients in their 70s showed highest score with 4.81 in the overall satisfaction and it was also statistically significant. 5. In the overall satisfaction level by interest in dental health, appearance showed highest score with 4.57 and it was also significantly higher than that of whole body. In the variance by dental knowledge, 'well know' group showed highest score with 4.58, and that of 'just a little' group was 4.33. That means there are correlations between dental knowledge and satisfaction level. 6. As a result of analyzing correlations amongst variances of the study, there were strong positive correlations among them. And there were very significantly positive correlations especially between social and psychological function and between psychological and overall satisfaction level. In conclusion, higher psychological function has strong relations with both social function and overall satisfaction level(p<.001).
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of role satisfaction and role strain of employed wives on their marital satisfaction. Data were collected from 297 employed wives who are also mothers and reside in the city of Seoul and the province of Gyeonggi-do. Our findings are also as follows: First, employed wives showed a relatively high level of marital satisfaction. Second, when employed wives experienced less role strain, they experienced more role satisfaction. At the same time, when employed wives experienced greater role satisfaction, they also experienced greater marital satisfaction. It was also found that when employed wives experienced greater role strain they experienced less marital satisfaction. Third, our analysis partially confirmed that there were only three variables that significantly affected marital satisfaction; the age of the employed wife, the level of role satisfaction and the level of role strain.
The purpose of this study is to find out the repercussion of mothers' quality of object relation and hope on their children's emotional and behavioral disorder level and satisfaction level on counseling. Participants were 112 children between ages of 6 and 12, and the 112 mothers of those children. Questionnaires for mothers were used to assess their object relation level, hope level, and counseling satisfaction level. Questionnaires for children were used to assess their depression and aggression level. Results were as follows: First, mothers with lower object relations had children with higher depression and aggression levels. Second, children of the mothers who scored higher object relation levels scored higher on the satisfaction level on counseling. Third, among the mother's object relation level, hope level, and counseling satisfaction level, the object relation level appeared to have the strongest repercussion on the child's emotional and behavioral problems. The results of this study can be used as a base material to improve the effect of play therapy for the children who have emotional and behavioral problems, on helping the children and their mothers to have positive object relations.
Background and Objectives : Voice therapy is proven to be effective, but patients are reluctant to receive the therapy when physicians recommend it. This phenomenon may due to patients'lack of trust in or low satisfaction level of the therapy. This study aimed to evaluate patients'satisfaction level after voice therapy and identify factors that could increase the satisfaction. Materials and Methods : First, the fraction of patients who were recommended voice therapy ahead and completed it was studied, and survey was conducted on those who finished ten voice therapy sessions. The patients'1) satisfaction level during the therapy, 2) satisfaction level about physician's explanation about the therapy, 3) willingness to recommend, 4) satisfaction level about the results were assessed, and was correlated with overall satisfaction level. In each category, patients' gender-, age-, and disease type-related differences were analyzed. Results : Patients under 19 years old were most satisfied during the voice therapy; patients above 40 years old showed statistically significantly higher satisfaction level regarding satisfaction with physician explanation about treatments and with treatment results compared to other ages groups. Patients above 40 also showed the highest willingness to recommend. 26.5% of patients either refused to or discontinued voice therapy. 84.3% were satisfied with treatment results. Considering variabilities among factors, patients'satisfaction with physician explanation about treatment and willingness to recommend had positive correlation. Conclusion : Though 26.3% of patients received voice therapy when physicians recommended, patients who completed the therapy were overall satisfied.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum, educational facilities and employment guidance of the departments dental hygiene in junior colleges in different regions and the satisfaction level of students with their major in an effort to provide some information on the improvement of educational environments and satisfaction level with the major. Methods : The subjects in this study were 315 dental hygiene students in several junior colleges located in Seoul, Gangwon Province and South Jeolla Province. A survey was conducted during a 15-day period from April 15 to March 1, 2010. Results : As for educational environments and satisfaction level with the major, they gave 3.18, 2.95 and 3.11 respectively to satisfaction level with curriculum, facilities/employment guidance and the major. In terms of satisfaction with educational environments by academic year, the juniors and seniors expressed much satisfaction with the qualifications of professors, the preparation of labs and practice devices, the utilization of labs and practice devices and a supply of employment information. By region, the students from the metropolitan area were satisfied a lot with curriculum, the qualifications of professors, practice-centered curriculum, the preparation of labs and practice devices, the utilization of labs and practice devices, the system of employment guidance and a supply of employment information. Conclusions : In order to boost the satisfaction level of students in non-metropolitan areas, colleges should try to improve educational environments, and full-fledged assistance should be provided to them.
The purpose of this study is to clarify the influence of positive interactions between the low-income female householders and children on the mothers'psychological well-being and quality of life. The major findings are as following: First, there were high level of life satisfaction and low level of depression among the low-income female householders who perceived high level of children's emotional support. The difference from the existence of the low-income female householder\`s husband was not found in the life satisfaction and depression. After controling for the low-income female householder's health, the differences were maintained. Second, the low-income female householders who communicated with their children open-heartedly felt higher level of life satisfaction and lower level of depression than those who had less communication with their children. The difference from the existence of the low-income female householder's husband was not found in the life satisfaction and depression. After controlling for the low-income female householder\`s educational level and health, the differences were maintained. finally, the low-income female householders felt higher level of life satisfaction and lower level of depression when they listened to their children closely, and were satisfied with mother-child communication.
