  • The primary objective of this study is to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on user satisfaction with recreational facilities in Children's Grand Park in Pusan City, theregby to establish the developmental way of urban park and open space. To test the causal models of this research, the data were gathered by self-administered questionnaires from 1085 households in Pusan City which were selected by the multi-stage probability sampling method. The analysis of the data primarily consists of two phase : The fist analysis dealt exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational facilities in Children's Grand Park and the second analysis tested the fit of the causal models of this research by employing LISREL methodology. The factor analysis identified that five factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational facilities. The five factors of satisfaction with recreational facilities are convenience and maintanance facilities, learnded recreational facilities, spaces for repose and relaxation, spaces for active recreation failities, and facilities for health and physical facilities. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational facilities to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with Children's Grand Park, other endogenous factors and exogenous variables. Overall fits of both causal models were very good. Among endogenous factors, facilities for repose and relaxation, facilities for convenience and maintenance, learnded recreational facilities were identified as having significant effects on overall satisfaction. Exogenous variables which have significant effects on endogenous variables were also identified. These significant relationships indicate important factors and variables that should be considered in planning and development of urban park and open space. On the basis of these significant causal relationships, way for delovepment of urban park and open space were suggested.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing life satisfaction in widowhood among older females. Using the sixth Korean Retirement and Income Study (KReIS) supplementary survey data, a total sample of 1,471 women aged 65 or older whose spouse had died were selected, divided into 508 young-old (65-74), 745 middle-old (75-84), and 218 oldest-old (85+). Then, factors influencing the life satisfaction of these three groups were analyzed, based on a combination of perceived health and interpersonal satisfaction levels. It was found that among the young-old group, a higher level of subjective health perception indicated by monthly income and material support and interpersonal satisfaction linked to more frequent participation in community gathering combined for an overall higher level of life satisfaction. For the middle-old group, higher life satisfaction was provided by monthly income, informational support, and material support for subjective health perception and no diseases for interpersonal satisfaction. The oldest-old group with higher life satisfaction referred to monthly income for subjective health perception and no experience in donation activities for interpersonal satisfaction. Based on these findings, this study provides implications for policy and practice to improve the life satisfaction of elderly women who have experienced their spouse's death.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the COVID-19 pandemic-driven effect changes of quality factors on customer satisfaction in Korean Police Civil Affairs Service. Methods: This study fitted a regression model to the data collected by Korean National Police Agency from 2019 (before COVID-19 pandemic) to 2020 (during COVID-19 pandemic). In order to simultaneously estimate the effects of major seven quality factors on customer satisfaction for 'before the pandemic' and for 'during the pandemic', the regression model included not only customer satisfaction as the dependent variable, but also the fourteen independent variables consisting of the seven quality factors and their seven interaction terms. The interaction terms were defined by multiplying each quality factor by a dummy variable indicating either before or during the pandemic. Therefore, the coefficient estimates of the interaction terms indicate the changes of their corresponding quality factor effects on customer satisfaction between before and during the pandemic. The double bootstrap method was applied to test the significance of coefficient estimates. Results: Both before and during the pandemic, all quality factors had positive effects on customer satisfaction. However, these effects changed differently from before to during the pandemic: (increased) supportability, sincerity, and convenience; (decreased) integrity, professionalism, and fairness; (unchanged) promptness. Conclusion: This study found that the pandemic caused significant effect changes of quality factors on customer satisfaction in Korean Police Civil Affairs Service. This finding suggests the necessity of carefully monitoring such effect changes to effectively and efficiently improve customer satisfaction. This study also identified that from before to during the pandemic, supportability, sincerity, and convenience become more important and hence, need to be better managed.

Methods: Participants were 216 nurses drawn from three general hospitals in C city. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results: The findings from multiple regression were as follows. First, people orientation, ethical guidance of ethical leadership factors showed significant positive effects on affective commitment. Second, people orientation, ethical guidance of ethical leadership factors showed significant positive effects on job satisfaction. Finally, when ethical leadership factors and affective commitment were entered into the regression model at the same time, ethical leadership factors showed no significant effects on job satisfaction, however, affective commitment showed a significant effect and so affective commitment had a mediating effect between ethical leadership and job satisfaction. Conclusion: Results of this study indicate that affective commitment with an effect on the relationship between ethical leadership and job satisfaction plays a full mediating role. Thus, developing ethical leadership training programs for head nurses would likely increase the affective commitment and job satisfaction of staff nurses.

The questionnaires were administered to 133 high school girl students in Pusan. To find out attitudes of Korean traditional style school uniform and their clothing behaviour, PC model, mineigen and Varimax Rotation of factor analysis were adopted. The results have shown that each four factors are identified in Korean traditional style school uniform's satisfaction and their clothing behaviour. Multiple Regression analysis has been used to investigate the relationship between these factors of attitudes and satisfaction toward Korean traditional style oriented school uniform. As a result, the relationship between factors of their school uniform behaviour and satisfaction of their school uniform has revealed. They tend to wear their school uniform in various occasions if their satisfaction becomes greater. Besides, the more students have recognized the uniform as symbol of status the more they become satisfied with their school uniform. • This study was trying to find the differences of the levels of e-commerce system satisfaction and a relationship between system satisfactions and behavioral intention to use e-commerce system continuously. Based on the previous studies, we identified the factors of system satisfaction that were consist of system readiness, accuracy, content, ease of use, timeliness and IT Support. The system satisfaction levels of martial status and the training status of hospitals had significant differences. In martial status, un-married managers had higher levels of ease of use and timeliness than the married. In this result, we might consider an age effect for younger persons are more likely to use IT and have more satisfaction perceptions. Rather than training hospitals, non-training hospitals had higher level of ease of use and IT support, which could be interpreted as e-commerce systems of training hospitals might not match their own managerial purposes and need an improvement of their system functionalities. This study also identified that the factors of system satisfaction has a relationship with behavioral intentions. Except accuracy and IT support of all six system satisfaction factors, four factors were significantly correlated with system usage intentions in their e - commerce works.
