전복의 동결에 관한 연구 1. 동결속도가 전복품질에 미치는 영향 (STUDIES ON FREEZING OF ABALONE (1) Effects of Freezing Rate on the Qualify of Frozen Abalone)

  • 생 전복을 액체질소동결, 송풍동결, 반송풍동결, 정지공기동결의 네가지 동결방법으로 동결하여 $-20^{\circ}C$에서 3개월간 저장하여 동결방법에 의한 전복근육의 물성적 변화, 단백질의 변성 등을 검토하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 생전복의 사후경직은 다른 어류보다 빨랐다. 2) 압측시험치, 전단시험치는 액체질소동결을 제외하고는 동결방법에 의한 차는 없었고, 저장기간이 길어짐에 따라 약간 감소하였다. 3) 염가용성질소는 동결저장기간중 용출량이 완만하게 감소하였다. 4) 유리수의 유출량은 패주와 다리 사이에는 차가 있었고, 저장기간중 패주는 유리수가 증가하는 경향이었다. 5) Texture의 Panel test 결과 저장기간을 통하여 Texture가 감소하는 경향이었으며, Texture의 변화는 유리수의 변화(P<0.01), 단백질의 변성(P<0.05), 압축시험치의 변화(P<0.05)와 유의의 상관관계가 있었다. 본 논문을 지도하여 주신 동경수산대학 교수 전중 화부 박사 그리고 논문의 작성에 조언해 주신 부산 수산대학 식품공학과 이응호 박사님께 감사의 뜻을 표한다.

Improved Corrosion and Abrasion Resistance of Organic-Inorganic Composite Coated Electro-galvanized Steels for Digital TV Panels

  • Recently, household electronic industries require environmentally-friendly and highly functional steels in order to enhance the quality of human life. Customers especially require both excellent corrosion and abrasion resistant anti-fingerprint steels for digital TV panels. Thus POSCO has developed new functional electro-galvanized steels, which have double coated layers with organic-inorganic composites on the zinc surface of the steel for usage as the bottom chassis panel of TVs. The inorganic solution for the bottom layer consists of inorganic phosphate, magnesium, and zirconium compounds with a small amount of epoxy binder, and affords both improved adhesion properties by chemical conversion reactions and corrosion resistance due to a self-healing effect. The composite solution for the top layer was prepared by fine dispersion of organic-inorganic ingredients that consist of a urethane modified polyacrylate polymer, hardener, silica sol and a titanium complex inhibitor in aqueous media. Both composite solutions were coated on the steel surface by using a roll coater and then cured through an induction furnace in the electro-galvanizing line. New anti-fingerprint steel was evaluated for quality performance through such procedures as the salt spray test for corrosion resistance, tribological test for abrasion resistance, and conductivity test for surface electric conductance regarding to both types of polymer resin and coating weight of composite solution. New composite coated anti-fingerprint steels afford both better corrosion resistance and abrasion properties compared to conventional anti-fingerprint steel that mainly consists of acrylate polymers. Detailed discussions of both composite solutions and experimental results suggest that urethane modifications of acrylate polymers of composite solutions play a key role in enhanced quality performances.

Synthesis and Characterization of Hydrotalcite/Graphene Oxide Containing Benzoate for Corrosion Protection of Carbon Steel

  • This work examined the corrosion protection performance of benzoate loaded hydrotalcite/graphene oxide (HT/GO-BZ) for carbon steel. HT/GO-BZ was fabricated by the co-precipitation method and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electronic microscopy. The corrosion inhibition action of HT/GO-BZ on carbon steel in 0.1 M NaCl solution was evaluated by electrochemical measurements. The benzoate content in HT/GO-BZ was determined by UV-Vis spectroscopy. Subsequently, the effect of HT/GO-BZ on the corrosion resistance of the water-based epoxy coating was investigated by the salt spray test. The obtained results demonstrated the intercalation of benzoate and GO in the hydrotalcite structure. The benzoate content in HT/GO-BZ was about 16%. The polarization curves of the carbon steel electrode revealed anodic corrosion inhibition activity of HT/GO-BZ and the inhibition efficiency was about 95.2% at a concentration of 3g/L. The GO present in HT/GO-BZ enhanced the inhibition effect of HT-BZ. The presence of HT/GO-BZ improved the corrosion resistance of the waterborne epoxy coating.

개체동결 굴(Crassostrea gigas) 엑스분을 이용한 굴 풍미계 과립조미료의 제조 및 품질특성 (Processings and Quality Characteristics of the Oyster Crassostrea gigas Granular Flavor Seasoning from IQF Oyster Extract)

  • The pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas has a desirable taste and flavor that differs from those of other fish and shellfish. In order to develop a high value-added product from individually quick-frozen oyster extract (IQFOE), we prepared an oyster granular flavor seasoning (OGS) from IQFOE and characterized its qualities. The OGS was prepared by granular molding and fluidized bed drying with inosine monophosphate (IMP, 0.1%), yeast extract powder (1.4%), tangle extract powder (0.6%), monosodium glutamate (MSG, 5.0%), microcrystalline cellulose (0.6%), lactose (27.5%), salt (33.0%), spray-dried IQFOE (22.5%) as a powdered materials, and IQFOE ($Brix\;25^{\circ}$, 7.0%), soy sauce (0.4%) and water (1.7%) as a liquid materials. The moisture, crude protein, pH and salinity of the OGS were 3.4%, 12.5%, 6.50 and 32.0%, respectively. Especially, the OGS revealed very higher amino-N content (1,856.0 mg/100 g) than that (1,291.2-1,610.2 mg/100 g) of other commercial flavor seasonings. In taste-active compounds, free amino acid contents was 1,359.0 mg/100 g, and major ones were glutamic acid, taurine, hydroxyproline, glycine, lysine, phosphoserine, proline in order. And OGS showed good organoleptic qualities for taste, odor and general preference compared with commercial flavor seasonings on a local market.

  • Characteristics of dissimilar metal welds between alloy steel ASTM A387 Gr. 91 and carbon steel ASTM A516 Gr.70 made with Flux cored arc welding(FCAW) have been evaluated in terms of microstructure, mechanical strength, chemical analysis by EDS as well as corrosion test. Three heat inputs of 15.0, 22.5, 30.0kJ/cm were employed to make joints of dissimilar metals with E71T-1C wire. Post-weld heat treatment was carried out at $750^{\circ}C$ for 2.5 h. Based on microstructural examination, Intragranular polygonal ferrite and grainboundary ferrite were formed only in first layer of weld metal. Another layers consisted of acicular ferrite and $Widmannst{\ddot{a}}tten$ ferrite. The amount of acicular ferrite was increased with decreasing heat input and layer. Heat affected zone of alloy steel showed the highest hardness due to the formation of tempered martensite and lower bainite. Lower and upper bainite were formed in heat affected zone of carbon steel. Tensile strengths of dissimilar metal welds decreased with increasing heat inputs. Dissimilar metal welds showed a good hot cracking resistance due to the low HCS index below 4. The salt spray test of dissimilar metals welds showed that the weight loss rate by corrosion below 170 hours was decreased with increasing heat inputs due to the increase of the amount of acicular ferrite.

An Efficient Chloride Ingress Model for Long-Term Lifetime Assessment of Reinforced Concrete Structures Under Realistic Climate and Exposure Conditions

  • Chloride penetration is among the main causes of corrosion initiation in reinforced concrete (RC) structures producing premature degradations. Weather and exposure conditions directly affect chloride ingress mechanisms and therefore the operational service life and safety of RC structures. Consequently, comprehensive chloride ingress models are useful tools to estimate corrosion initiation risks and minimize maintenance costs for RC structures placed under chloride-contaminated environments. This paper first presents a coupled thermo-hydro-chemical model for predicting chloride penetration into concrete that accounts for realistic weather conditions. This complete numerical model takes into account multiple factors affecting chloride ingress such as diffusion, convection, chloride binding, ionic interaction, and concrete aging. Since the complete model could be computationally expensive for long-term assessment, this study also proposes model simplifications in order to reduce the computational cost. Long-term chloride assessments of complete and reduced models are compared for three locations in France (Brest, Strasbourg and Nice) characterized by different weather and exposure conditions (tidal zone, de-icing salts and salt spray). The comparative study indicates that the reduced model is computationally efficient and accurate for long-term chloride ingress modeling in comparison to the complete one. Given that long-term assessment requires larger climate databases, this research also studies how climate models may affect chloride ingress assessment. The results indicate that the selection of climate models as well as the considered training periods introduce significant errors for mid- and long- term chloride ingress assessment.

TEM법에 의한 모르타르 중의 철근 부식 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Steel Corrosion in Mortar by TEM Method)

  • Steel, as a reinforcing mechanism in concrete, provides the tensile strength that is lacking in concrete, alone, and the high alkaline environment (pH 12.5) in concrete offers satisfactory protection against most corrosion of the steel. However, the corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete can occur by chloride attack or carbonation, and it can cause a loss of integrity a section and concrete failure through cracking and spalling. In this study, a transient electro magnetic method (TEM) of a nondestructive technique is adapted to study the measuring method of steel corrosion in mortar. The sensor was made of an enameled wire, with a diameter of 0.25mm and anacril. He sensor configuration used was a coincident loop type. The secondary electro motive force (2nd EMF) was measured with SIROTEMIII, which equipped the accelerator. The accelerator allowsthe transmitter to turn off approximately $10\sim15$ times faster than normal. The high-resolution time series, used for very shallow or a high resistivity investigation was selected. After steels were corroded by the salt spray, during 4, 8, 15 and 25 days, they were embedded in mortar. The content results acquired in this study are as follows. The variation of the secondary electro motive force (2nd EMF) was shown by the change of steel surface with different corrosion time steel. It was confirmed that measurement of steel corrosion in mortar by a transient electro-magnetic method (TEM) can be possible.

과도전자탐사법에 의한 모르타르 중의 코팅 철근의 부식 측정 방법 개발 (The Development of Measuring Method of Coated Steel Corrosion in Mortar by Transient Electro-Magnetic(TEM) Method)

  • To study measurement of coated steel corrosion in mortar, a transient electro-magnetic(TEM) method was adapted. The sensors were made of enamelled wire with diameter of 0.25mm(transmitter), 0.1mm(receiver) and the secondary electro motive force(EMF) was measured with SIROTEMIII. The sensors configuration was used as in loop configuration. After coated steels were corroded by the salt spray during 3, 7, 15, 25days, they were embedded in mortar which were made from sand : cement : water ratio of 2 : 1 :0.5. To investigate coated steel corrosion in mortar, the sensors were used. ( sensorl - $T_x$ : $4{\Omega}$, $R_x$ : $10{\Omega}$, $3{times}3cm$, sensor2 - $T_x$ : $8{\Omega}$, $R_x$ : $10{\Omega}$, $3{times}3cm$, sensor3 - $T_x$ : $4{\Omega}$, $R_x$ : $10{\Omega}$, $6{times}6cm$, sensor4 - $T_x$ : $8{\Omega}$, $R_x$ : $10{\Omega}$, $6{times}6cm$). The obtained results showed that the secondary EMF was decreased with specimens of 3, 7days corroded coationg steel in mortar and then increased with specccimens of 15, 25days corroded one. And it was confirmed that measurement of coated steel corrosion in mortar by a transient electro-magnetic(TEM) method is possible.

강 구조물에 대한 폴리아닐린 함유도료의 방청특성 (Anti-Corrosion Characteristics of Steel Structures with Polyaniline Anti-Corrosive Coatings)

  • In preparative anti-corrosive coating experiments, polyaniline was obtained by reacting an oxidizing agent with the monomer aniline. Further, the primer coating was prepared using a variety of widely-used materials such as urethane resin. For the top coating, epoxy resin and acrylic urethane resin were used. Characteristics of the coatings were assessed according to KS and ASTM specifications, and the structure of the polyaniline was characterized using FT-IR and TGA. For analysis of anti-corrosive properties in salt-spray experiments, measurements of the oxidation state of iron and surface atomic analysis were conducted using XPS and SEM-EDX. Unlike general anti-corrosive coatings which exhibit anti-corrosive effects only as a primer coating, the anti-corrosive coatings using polyaniline as the anti-corrosive pigment showed a marked synergistic effect with the top coatings. In other words, the top coatings not only produce a fine view effect, but also increase, through interaction with the primer coatings, the resistance to diffusion of corrosive factors from the external environment. It was also found that, unlike the heavy metal oxide-forming layer of the passive barrier alone, the polyaniline anti-corrosive pigment oxidized iron at the interface with the iron substrate to form a passive barrier in the oxidic layer, and itself formed a potential barrier layer with anti-corrosive factors from the external environment. Although the passive layer was damaged, the damaged area did not become completely oxidized iron; on the contrary, it showed a tendency to reduction. This can be interpreted such that a passive layer is formed again on the damaged area, and that at the same time there is a tendency to self-healing.

IT융합기술이 접목된 Smart Food Court 급식 시스템 연구 (A Study on Grafted IT Convergence Technology of Food Court Meal System)

  • 급식산업은 경제발전상황과 사용자의 편의성 및 고객욕구에 따라 단순급식을 벗어나 고객의 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있는 프리미엄급 급식을 요구하기 시작하였다. 급식 시스템에 도입된 식기에 RFID을 도입 하였으나, 고온과 저온 및 염도에 RFID 칩이 오작동하여 급식시스템에 문제가 발생하였다. 본 논문에서는 IT융합기술이 접목된 스마트 급식을 위하여 Food Court 배식에 RFID 칩을 넣어서 실험을 하였다. Food court 급식 시스템에서 뜨거운 음식($125^{\circ}C$)과 차가운 음식($-40^{\circ}C$) 및 염분이 함유된 음식을 반영하여 고온, 저온 실험, 염수 분무 실험을 통하여 스마트 급식의 안정성을 확보 하였다. 또한 기존의 일자형 배식, 스크램블형 배식, Marketplace 배식, Food Court 배식을 비교 분석하고 장점을 연구하였다. 본 논문연구를 통하여 Food Court 배식에 IT융합 기술인(RFID, LCD, S/W, H/W)을 적용하는 스마트 Food Court 급식산업발전에 기여할 것이다.
