In this study, wind loads exerted on the offshore wind turbine rotor in parked condition were predicted with variations of wind speeds, yaw angles, azimuth angle, pitch angles, and power of the atmospheric boundary layer profile. The calculated wind loads using blade element theorem were compared with those of estimated aerodynamic loads for the simplified blade shape. Wind loads for an NREL's 5 MW scaled offshore wind turbine rotor were also compared with those of NREL's FAST results for more verification. All of the 6-component wind loads including forces and moments along the three axis were represented on a non-rotating coordinate system fixed at the apex of rotor hub. The calculated wind loads are applicable for the dynamic analysis of the wind turbine system, or obtaining the over-turning moment at the foundation of support structure for wind turbine system.

Purpose: This study used an exploratory sequential approach (mixed methods) design to explore essential meaning through comparing and analyzing the experiences of nursing students in virtual simulation practice and high fidelity simulation practice education in parallel. Methods: The study participants were 20 nursing students, and data were collected through focus group meetings from July 17 to August 5, 2020, and via online quantitative data from November 10 to November 15, 2020. The qualitative data were analyzed using Giorgi's phenomenological method, and the quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis H test analysis of variance and Spearman's ρ correlation. Results: The comparison between the two simulation training experiences was shown in five contextual structures, as follows: (1) reflection of the clinical field, (2) thinking theorem vs. thinking expansion, (3) individual-centered learning vs. team-centered learning, (4) attitudes toward participating in practical training, (5) metacognition of personal competency as a prospective nurse, and (6) revisiting the method of practice training. There was a positive correlation between satisfaction with the practice and the clinical judgment ability of high fidelity simulation, which was statistically significant (r=.47, p=.036). Conclusion: Comparing the experiences between virtual simulation practice training and high fidelity simulation practice training, which has increased in demand due to the Coronavirus Disease-2019 pandemic, is meaningful as it provides practical data for introspection and reflection on in-campus clinical education.

The Riemann's zeta function $\zeta(s)$ has been known as answer for a number of primes $\pi$(x) less than given number x. In prime number theorem, there are another approximation function $\frac{x}{lnx}$,Li(x), and R(x). The error about $\pi$(x) is R(x) < Li(x) < $\frac{x}{lnx}$. The logarithmic integral function is Li(x) = $\int_{2}^{x}\frac{1}{lnt}dt$ ~ $\frac{x}{lnx}\sum\limits_{k=0}^{\infty}\frac{k!}{(lnx)^k}=\frac{x}{lnx}(1+\frac{1!}{(lnx)^1}+\frac{2!}{(lnx)^2}+\cdots)$. This paper shows that the $\pi$(x) can be represent with finite Li(x), and presents generalized prime counting function $\sqrt{{\alpha}x}{\pm}{\beta}$. Firstly, the $\pi$(x) can be represent to $Li_3(x)=\frac{x}{lnx}(\sum\limits_{t=0}^{{\alpha}}\frac{k!}{(lnx)^k}{\pm}{\beta})$ and $Li_4(x)=\lfloor\frac{x}{lnx}(1+{\alpha}\frac{k!}{(lnx)^k}{\pm}{\beta})}k\geq2$ such that $0{\leq}t{\leq}2k$. Then, $Li_3$(x) is adjusted by $\pi(x){\simeq}Li_3(x)$ with ${\alpha}$ and error compensation value ${\beta}$. As a results, this paper get the $Li_3(x)=Li_4(x)=\pi(x)$ for $x=10^k$. Then, this paper suggests a generalized function $\pi(x)=\sqrt{{\alpha}x}{\pm}{\beta}$. The $\pi(x)=\sqrt{{\alpha}x}{\pm}{\beta}$ function superior than Riemann's zeta function in representation of prime counting.

Developments of Solid-State Gyroscopy during last decades are impressive and were based on thin-walled shell resonators like HRG or CRG made from fused quartz or leuko-sapphire. However, a number of design choices for inertial-grade gyroscopes, which can be used for high-g applications and for mass- or middle-scale production, is still very limited. So, considerations of fundamental physical effects in solids that can be used for development of a miniature, completely solid-state, and lower-cost sensor look urgent. There is a variety of different types of bulk acoustic (elastic) waves (BAW) in anisotropic solids. Shear waves with different variants of their polarization have to be studied especially carefully, because shear sounds in glasses and crystals are sensitive to a turn of the solid as a whole, and, so, they can be used for development of gyroscopic sensors. For an isotropic medium (for a glass or a fine polycrystalline body), classic Lame's theorem (so-called, a general solution of Elasticity Theory or Green-Lame's representation) has been modified for enough general case: an elastic medium rotated about an arbitrary set of axes. Travelling, standing, and mixed shear waves propagating in an infinite isotopic medium (or between a pair of parallel reflecting surfaces) have been considered too. An analogy with classic Foucault's pendulum has been underlined for the effect of a turn of a polarizational plane (i.e., an integration effect for an input angular rate) due to a medium's turn about the axis of the wave propagation. These cases demonstrate a whole-angle regime of gyroscopic operation. Single-crystals are anisotropic media, and, therefore, to reflect influence of the crystal's rotation, classic Christoffel-Green's tensors have been modified. Cases of acoustic axes corresponding to equal velocities for a pair of the pure-transverse (shear) waves have of an evident applied interest. For such a special direction in a crystal, different polarizations of waves are possible, and the gyroscopic effect of "polarizational precession" can be observed like for a glass. Naturally, formation of a wave pattern in a massive elastic body is much more complex due to reflections from its boundaries. Some of these complexities can be eliminated. However, a non-homogeneity has a fundamental nature for any amorphous medium due to its thermodynamically-unstable micro-structure, having fluctuations of the rapidly-frozen liquid. For single-crystalline structures, blockness (walls of dislocations) plays a similar role. Physical nature and kinematic particularities of several typical "drifts" in polarizational BAW gyros (P-BAW) have been considered briefly too. They include irregular precessions ("polarizational beats") due to: non-homogeneity of mass density and elastic moduli, dissymmetry of intrinsic losses, and an angular mismatch between propagation and acoustic axes.
In previous studies concerning turnover, they argue individual stock's turnover must be identical to market portfolio's turnover under one condition where 2 funds separation theorem holds. In this kind of world, all market participants hold and trade the same portfolio and this should be only market portfolio. If one's trading portfolio's shape is different from market portfolio's, this would mean he or she has an advantage over others in information and this kind of information would be private. In accordance with this theory, we develop a metric which measures how far one's trading portfolio from market's and name it as Stock Selection by Investor(SSI). We apply this measurement to the various types of investor groups classified as individual, institutional and foreign who participate in Korea stock market. To test the validity of measure, we regress price ratio on this measurement using SUR method. As a result, individual investor group shows large number in SSI, but the coefficient in regression is not significant and economically meaningless. In case of institutional investor group, the coefficient proves to be significantly negative. We can infer from this fact that their trading is somehow far from informed trading. Stock selection activity by foreign investor groups proves to be informed trading by showing significantly positive coefficient and the magnitude of coefficient is economically meaningful, especially in sell activity.
The Primary type of swinging motion in human movement is that which is characteristic of a pendulum. The two types of pendulums are identified as simple and compound. A simple pendulum consist of a small body suspended by a relatively long cord. Its total mass is contained within the bob. The cord is not considered to have mass. A compound pendulum, on the other hand, is any pendulum such as the human body swinging by hands from a horizontal bar. Therefore a compound pendulum depicts important motions that are harmonic, periodic, and oscillatory. In this paper one discusses and compares two algorithms of Newton's method(F = m a) and Euler's method (M = $I{\times}{\alpha}$) in compound pendulum. Through exercise model such as human body with weight(m = 50 kg), body length(L = 1.5m), and center of gravity ($L_c$ = 0.4119L) from proximal end swinging by hands from a horizontal bar, one finds kinematic variables(angle displacement / velocity / acceleration), and simulates kinematic variables by changing body lengths and body mass. BSP by Clauser et al.(1969) & Chandler et al.(1975) is used to find moment of inertia of the compound pendulum. The radius of gyration about center of gravity (CoG) is $k_c\;=\;K_c{\times}L$ (단, k= radius of gyration, K= radius of gyration /segment length), and then moment of inertia about center of gravity(CoG) becomes $I_c\;=\;m\;k_c^2$. Finally, moment of inertia about Z-axis by parallel theorem becomes $I_o\;=\;I_c\;+\;m\;k^2$. The two-order ordinary differential equations of models are solved by ND function of numeric analysis method in Mathematica5.1. The results are as follows; First, The complexity of Newton's method is much more complex than that of Euler's method Second, one could be find kinematic variables according to changing body lengths(L = 1.3 / 1.7 m) and periods are increased by body length increment(L = 1.3 / 1.5 / 1.7 m). Third, one could be find that periods are not changing by means of changing mass(m = 50 / 55 / 60 kg). Conclusively, one is intended to meditate the possibility of applying a compound pendulum to sports(balling, golf, gymnastics and so on) necessary swinging motions. Further improvements to the study could be to apply Euler's method to real motions and one would be able to develop the simulator.
The public-key cryptosystems such as Diffie-Hellman Key Distribution and Elliptical Curve Cryptosystems are built on the basis of the operations defined in GF(2$^{m}$ ):addition, subtraction, multiplication and multiplicative inversion. It is important that these operations should be computed at high speed in order to implement these cryptosystems efficiently. Among those operations, as being the most time-consuming, multiplicative inversion has become the object of lots of investigation Formant's theorem says $\beta$$^{-1}$ =$\beta$$^{2}$sup m/-2/, where $\beta$$^{-1}$ is the multiplicative inverse of $\beta$$\in$GF(2$^{m}$ ). Therefore, to compute the multiplicative inverse of arbitrary elements of GF(2$^{m}$ ), it is most important to reduce the number of times of multiplication by decomposing 2$^{m}$ -2 efficiently. Among many algorithms relevant to the subject, the algorithm proposed by Itoh and Tsujii[2] has reduced the required number of times of multiplication to O(log m) by using normal basis. Furthermore, a few papers have presented algorithms improving the Itoh and Tsujii's. However they have some demerits such as complicated decomposition processes[3,5]. In this paper, in the case of 2$^{m}$ -2, which is mainly used in practical applications, an efficient algorithm is proposed for computing the multiplicative inverse at high speed by using both the factorization formula x$^3$-y$^3$=(x-y)(x$^2$+xy+y$^2$) and normal basis. The number of times of multiplication of the algorithm is smaller than that of the algorithm proposed by Itoh and Tsujii. Also the algorithm decomposes 2$^{m}$ -2 more simply than other proposed algorithms.
The signal transmission of human body is processed by the action potential from each cell unit. This kind of action potential is taken place and transmitted by the ions through cell membrane, and ultimately explained as an electrical signal concept. The fact that the information is established as an electrical status as well as various senses from the bio-organozm has been addressed through several studies. By the way, this nervous transmission relation has been described and analyzed qualitatively in the mean time. I established new algorithm to analyze these relations quantitatively and implemented them using existing bio-data in this paper. The study, however, was limited to underthreshold potential to excite the nervous system against the outer stimulation. This is very much analog to electrical transient of the switching circuit, and therefore, I analyzed it based on this analog. I made it clear that the results derived here is the basis further study topic.

This paper presents a new model of the Miller effect. The new Miller effect model is obtained from the accurate AC gain which includes the effect of the output capacitance of the common-source (CS) amplifier. The new Miller effect model consists of the series connection of a capacitance and a parallel RC circuit, one at the input and the other at the output. The frequency response obtained by the new Miller effect model is equal to that obtained from the original circuit. Even though the new model is complicated, the 3-dB frequency can be easily estimated by using the open-circuit time constants method without the node analysis.

The present work shows many aspects concerning the use of a numerical wave-based methodology for the computation of the structural response of periodic structures, focusing on cylinders. Taking into account the periodicity of the system, the Bloch-Floquet theorem can be applied leading to an eigenvalue problem, whose solutions are the waves propagation constants and wavemodes of the periodic structure. Two different approaches are presented, instead, for computing the forced response of stiffened structures. The first one, dealing with a Wave Finite Element (WFE) methodology, proved to drastically reduce the problem size in terms of degrees of freedom, with respect to more mature techniques such as the classic FEM. The other approach presented enables the use of the previous technique even when the whole structure can not be considered as periodic. This is the case when two waveguides are connected through one or more joints and/or different waveguides are connected each other. Any approach presented can deal with deterministic excitations and responses in any point. The results show a good agreement with FEM full models. The drastic reduction of DoF (degrees of freedom) is evident, even more when the number of repetitive substructures is high and the substructures itself is modelled in order to get the lowest number of DoF at the boundaries.
