The failure load of a continuous prestressed concrete beam depends partially on the amount of redistribution of moment that occurs prior to failure. Results from a parametric study, carried out using a nonlinear finite element computer program, are presented to demonstrate the influences of various factors on redistribution of moment in two-span, continuous bonded prestressed concrete beams. Trends in the data from the numerical studies are compared with those from a theoretical expression for percentage of redistribution, and it is shown that the redistribution of moment occurring in a continuous prestressed concrete beam is a function of number of parameters.

This study aims to reveal the various differences within the factors that influence use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention, specifically in regard to the use motives and use behaviors of Netflix viewers. This study's results demonstrate that the following various factors affected use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention in differential ways. Firstly, the diversity of content influenced use satisfaction to a greater degree than social relations; and the diversity of content, social relations, and active participation all positively influenced continuous use intention. In other words, the more positively users appreciated the diversity of content, and the more strongly they had social relations, and the more actively they participated within communities, the greater degree to which they increased their continuous use intention for Netflix. However, the diversity of content and the convenience of use also had a negative effect on the media substitution intention for Netflix, which means that the more diverse the content and the more convenient the use of Netflix, the fewer the number of users who intended to cancel Netflix and subscribe to another OTT service or resubscribe to traditional media sources.

본 연구에서는 S-O-R 프레임워크를 기반으로 개인에 대한 자극(유튜브 채널의 영상 특성, 유튜버 특성, 실시간 방송 특성)이 어떻게 유기체(지각된 유용성, 지각된 즐거움, 사회적 존재감)를 형성하고, 이것이 시청자 반응(지속시청의도, 유료후원의도)에 영향을 미치는지를 유튜브 실시간 방송 환경에서 검증해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 연구모형 및 가설을 구성하였고, 유튜브 플랫폼의 실시간 방송 채널 서비스 이용자를 대상으로 수집한 369부의 설문자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 일부 영상 특성, 유튜버 특성, 실시간 방송 특성이 시청자의 지각된 유용성, 지각된 즐거움, 사회적 존재감에, 더 나아가 지속시청의도, 유료후원의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 결론에서 연구결과의 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 논의하였다.

We present a modified method for the treatment of brain abscess. The double lumen extraventricular drainage (EVD) catheter which was developed for the intracerebral hematoma management, was applied for the treatment of brain abscess drainage. We placed the double lumen EVD catheter into the abscess cavity by free-hand technique and irrigated the abscess cavity continuously with antibiotics solution for 7 days. Simultaneous intravenous antibiotics was administered for 4 weeks. The continuous irrigation with double lumen catheter was found to be safe and effective treatment modality in the brain abscess.

Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) has now become an established form of renal replacement therapy in children. Despite of technical improvements, there are various complications in CAPD. We reviewed medical records of children who received CAPD at Seoul National University Children's Hospital in the period between May 1991 and June 2002. Ninety-three procedures of CAPD catheter insertion in 70 patients were included in this study. Complication rate was 64.5%, and CAPD catheter related peritonitis was most common. In conclusion, CAPD catheter related peritonitis develops in considerable number of pediatric patients. Although the peritonitis could be treated with empirical antibiotics therapy, further investigation to prevent complication is required.

A simplified rational method is developed to evaluate transverse earthquake-induced forces in continuous bridges. This method models the bridge as a beam on elastic foundation, and assumes a sinusoidal curve for both vibration mode shape and deflected shape in the transverse direction. The principle of minimum total potential is used to calculate the displacements and the earthquake-induced forces in the transverse direction. This method is concise and easy to apply, and hence, offers an attractive alternative to a lengthy and time consuming three dimensional modeling of the bridge as given by AASHTO under its Single Mode Spectral Analysis Method.

Lartobacillus bulgricus를 glucose를 제한기질로 하는 합성배지에서 연속배양한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 본 실험 model은 Monod의 chemostat 이론을 적용시킬 수 있다. 2. 본 실험 model에서의 최대 cell production rate는 $0.178 g/1{\cdot}hr$로서 회석율 $0.414hr^{-1}$ 일 때이다. 3. 연속배양 결과 saturation constant($K_s$)는 7.69g/l, 최대비증식속도$(V_{max})$는 $0.62hr^{-1}$ 이었다. 4. wash out 현상은 $0.51hr^{-1}$에서 일어났으며cell yield coefficient는 0.016g/l 이었다.
