단방향 누적점수관리도의 설계 (A Design of One-Sided Cumulative Scored Control Chart)

  • This paper proposes a method of designing one-sided cumulative scored control charts to control the process mean with a normally distributed quality characteristic. The average run length(ARL) is obtained from the average sample number of sequential probability ratio test(SPRT) on trinomial distribution. Using the analogy between cumulative scored control chart and SPRT for trinomial observations, a procedure is presented to determine three control chart parameters; lower and u, pp.r scoring boundaries and action limit. The parameters are determined by minimizing the ARL when the process is out of control with prespecified ARL when the process is in control.

두 가지 고장형태를 고려한 생산 및 예방보전 정책 (A Production and Preventive Maintenance Policy with Two Types of Failures)

  • This paper studies an economic manufacturing quantity (EMQ) model with two types of failures and planned preventive maintenance of the production facility. One is a type I (major) failure which should be corrected by a failure maintenance and the other is a type H (minor) failure which can be minimally repaired without interrupting the production run. The objective is to determine the lot size and preventive replacement policy minimizing the long-run expected cost per unit time. We consider a control policy with a constant production lot size and preventive maintenance after completing n production runs. It is assumed that both preventive and failure maintenance times are random and the demand arriving during a stock-out period is lost. An expression for the expected cost per unit time is obtained in the general case. A special case is discussed and numerical results are provided.

  • In this paper, a method for the design of robust adaptive controller using the heuristic rules of industrial engineers is presented. This scheme works on the basis of heuristic rules and includes a supervisor, a system identifier and a detuner. The supervisor detects onsetting instability based on the analysis of the amplitude and the trend of error signal, also selects running controllers. Upon detecting instability, the controller is switched to a PID algorithm and run recursively until stability is restored. Simultaneously, new input / output data is gathered and the system identifier runs to get critical sensitivity (kc) and critical period(tc). Based on the new values(kc, tc), a GPC controller is redesigned and normal GPC is finally run. The algorithm described in this paper belongs to the supervised adaptive control category with a limited use of heuristic rules. Finally, we show the robust of this scheme by simulated example.

  • There are many reasons for occurring vibration when trains run on the railway, but the typical vibration are occurring when the trains run on the elevated Railway bridge. For the settlement of the problems form the vibration, it must be performed to analyze the effect of the vibration to human bodies and adjacent area. and to establish the countermeasures. In this paper, we analyzed the effects of the vibration to the bridge itself and to adjacent structures by measuring the vibration of Yong-Dang Elevated Railway Bridge on Jeolla Line and adjacent area.

전기철도차량 경제운전 모형 개발 (Development of Economical Run Model for Electric Railway Vehicle)

  • The Optimization has been performed to search an economical running pattern in the view point of trip time and energy consumption. Fuzzy control model have been applied to build the meta-model. To identify the structure and its parameters of a fuzzy model, fuzzy c-means clustering method and differential evolutionary scheme are utilized, respectively. As a result, two meta-models for trip time and energy consumption were constructed. The optimization to search an economical running pattern was achieved by differential evolutionary scheme. The result shows that the proposed methodology is very efficient and conveniently applicable to the operation of railway system.

  • Control chart is representative tools of statistical process control (SPC). It is a graph that plotting the characteristic values from the process. It has two steps (or Phase). First step is a procedure for finding a process parameters. It is called Phase I. This step is to find the process parameters by using data obtained from in-controlled process. It is a step that the standard value was not determined. Another step is monitoring process by already known process parameters from Phase I. It is called Phase II. These control chart is the process quality characteristic value for management, which is plotted dot whether the existence within the control limit or not. But, this is not given information about the economic loss that occurs when a product characteristic value does not match the target value. In order to meet the customer needs, company not only consider stability of the process variation but also produce the product that is meet the target value. Taguchi's quadratic loss function is include information about economic loss that occurred by the mismatch the target value. However, Taguchi's quadratic loss function is very simple quadratic curve. It is difficult to realistically reflect the increased amount of loss that due to a deviation from the target value. Also, it can be well explained by only on condition that the normal process. Spiring proposed an alternative loss function that called reflected normal loss function (RNLF). In this paper, we design a new control chart for overcome these disadvantage by using the Spiring's RNLF. And we demonstrate effectiveness of new control chart by comparing its average run length (ARL) with ${\bar{x}}-R$ control chart and expected loss control chart (ELCC).

Optical In-Situ Plasma Process Monitoring Technique for Detection of Abnormal Plasma Discharge

  • Advanced semiconductor manufacturing technology requires methods to maximize tool efficiency and improve product quality by reducing process variability. Real-time plasma process monitoring and diagnosis have become crucial for fault detection and classification (FDC) and advanced process control (APC). Additional sensors may increase the accuracy of detection of process anomalies, and optical monitoring methods are non-invasive. In this paper, we propose the use of a chromatic data acquisition system for real-time in-situ plasma process monitoring called the Plasma Eyes Chromatic System (PECS). The proposed system was initially tested in a six-inch research tool, and it was then further evaluated for its potential to detect process anomalies in an eight-inch production tool for etching blanket oxide films. Chromatic representation of the PECS output shows a clear correlation with small changes in process parameters, such as RF power, pressure, and gas flow. We also present how the PECS may be adapted as an in-situ plasma arc detector. The proposed system can provide useful indications of a faulty process in a timely and non-invasive manner for successful run-to-run (R2R) control and FDC.

  • 많은 확률과정이 Markov 특성을 만족하거나 근사적으로 만족하는 것으로 가정된다. Markov 과정에서 특히 관심을 끄는 것은 최초통과시간이다. 최초통과시간에 대한 연구는 Wald의 축차분석에서 시작하여 근사적 특성에 대한 많은 연구가 되어왔고 컴퓨터의 발달로 통계계산적 방법이 사용되면서 근사적 결과가 참값에 가까운 값을 계산할 수 있게 되었다. 이 논문은 Markov 과정의 예로서 지수가중 이동평균 관리도를 사용할 때 평균런길이를 계산하는 과정과 계산상의 주의점, 문제점 등을 연구하였다. 이 결과는 다른 모든 Markov 과정에 적용될 수 있으며 특히 Markov 연쇄로의 근사는 확률과정의 특성의 연구에 유용하고 계산적 접근을 용이하게 한다.

  • A digital signal processor(DSP) is applied to realizing a compensator of control system of active magnetic bearings, to restrict a resonance caused by the first-order bending vibration of a flexible rotor, and to run the rotor beyond the critical speed. A full-order observer is applied to the translatory rotor-motion with the first-order vibration mode. A PID control is used for the conical motion. The rotor used in the experiments is symmetric, and an electromagnet and a displacement sensor are set in collocation.
