Recently, consumers have changed their role to consumers and producers who make what they want. The way clothes are produced is also needed to change according to modern consumption methods. Knitting Machine was one of them, and although it was a mass-produced device, it developed a device that could make clothes anywhere on a small production craze. Knit-making requires more consideration than other clothing designs, which requires consideration of users' web usability. Therefore, this study proposes an assessment tool that can evaluate web usability of clothing-making sites using knitting machines. To this end, the examples of the Knitting Machine program and custom product production websites and the each UI were investigated and analyzed. Based on these prior surveys, the draft evaluation items were drawn, and three Delphi surveys were conducted on the basis of the draft to produce assessment tools after classifying, modifying and deleting items. Through this study, we look forward to improving the usability of the customized product-making website of Knitting Machine in the future and popularizing the Knitting Machine.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop golf wear textile design, produce simulation and samples, and create original designs using geometric patterns. Significance: If modern people's trend to pursue well-being is be associated with healthy and active lifestyle and the design which combines a sport sense into artistic image appears in golf wear, it is a very significant effort to settle the role of sport as a mega trend. Contents: This study examined the general concept of geometric patterns and the situation and characteristics of women's golf wear. Finally, the design and simulation of gold wear textile were proposed. Study Instruments: For theoretical research, articles, books, literatures, and Internet materials published at home and abroad were reviewed and collected. For empirical research, a dot, a stripe(a line), a square, and an oval were selected and simulation was tested visually after the development of textile designs. Finally it was directly produced and golf wear design was developed. Photoshop CS 3 and Wacom intuos 3 were used as a general-purpose program and hardware respectively. DTP printing was used for sample work. Based on research results, geometric patterns range broadly and diversely from prehistoric remains and relics to contemporary art, design, architecture, and fashion. It is a unique formative element with value and attraction as the infinite object of inquiry beyond an area and the times. The combination of geometric patterns with art touch could complement the rigidity of design. It contributed to the perception of important role of art in the design area, namely, the importance of design containing artistry.
This study was carried out with the purpose of capturing current state of Korean family life culture related to childrearing. The Questionnaire developed for this study in order to delineate the values and perceptions related to general childrearing practices in present Korean families consisted of 73 items concerning prenatal care and child birth, child caring and rearing, and role division and value education. Subjects were mothers of young and primary school children currenly residing in Seoul area and Choongchung province of South Korea. Four hundred and four questionnaires were analyzed, and the summary of results were as follows. First, both the respect for children's individual needs concerning food, clothing, and health-related behaviors and the pursuit of convenience in everyday life on the part of mothers appeared to be important and valued by Korean mothers. Second, the basic values and traditional meanings of family events such as prenatal care, children's birthday, especiall the first one, and family rituals and gatherings still appeared to be exsiting and influential, but there seemed to have been some changes both in their formal aspects and detail contents. Third, meaningful differences in childrearing attitudes were found according to mother's place of growth, educational level, and her employment status. Finally, traditional distinction between sexes and sex-role division in childrearing seemed to have weakened to some extent, which was particularly among mothers with higher educational level or residing in big cities.
The purpose of this study is to find the connectional structure of mentoring perceived by the 2-year college students who are majoring in fashion, and to develop the scale with which the mentoring effect can be measured on the basis of the results. To achieve the purpose, research was conducted through a survey questionnaire. The research was carried out obtaining data from the 2-year college students. Responses from this questionnaire were gathered from 265 students. The questionnaire was made with 31 mentoring scales and removed inadequate 18 questions for statistics analysis. The remaining questionnaires consisting of 13 questions were categorized into three factors. The first factor (5questions) relates to the sensitivity developmental function. The second factor (5questions) pertains to the psychosocial function and the third factor (3questions) was for the fashion career developmental function. The results derived from the analysis of the questionnaire survey are as follows: First, the role model function is not enticing enough for the student to continue role model or professor for future student. The students are more interested into discovering their own capability in fashion by entering a fashion company. Second, the result of this study was confirmed through descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Third, the results of this study can be a guide-line for professors to help student to which is fashion in spite of outside comment and own future career task.

This study aims at finding a new home economics education which will include male and female students as its teaching objects, and then providing home economics teachers with useful materials. For this purpose I examined analized male and female the upper secondary school students’and parents’recognition and demand to the home economics education The conclusion of this study is summarized as follows: 1. There was significant difference between male students(73.7%) and female students(89.8%) in the necessity for studying Home Economics(P<.001). In the necessity of Home Economics education, male students emphasized the spiritual part but female students emphasized the functional part. In part of parents, there was no significant difference between fathers(95.5%) and mothers(96.4%). 2. The necessity of each part in the contents of Home Economics 1) In the part of family, there was significant difference between male and female students in the true nature of family, the role and responsibility of family, and the laws relating to family(P<.001). There was significant difference between mothers and fathers in the true nature of family and the role and responsibility of family. Fathers and male students emphasized the true nature of family and the role and responsibility of family more than mothers and female students did. 2) In the Home management and economy parts, there was significant difference between male and female students in the significance of home management(P<.001), the relation of family to society(P<.001), and fluctuating measures for home economy. There was significant difference between fathers and mothers in the relation of family to society(P<.05). Fathers and male students emphasized the relation of family to society more than mothers and female students did. Mothers, male and female students emphasized the importance of the protection of consumers. 3) In the clothes part, male students emphasized the role of clothes, the disign and making of clothes(P<.001), the present situation of the resources of clothing and the distribution of clothes (P<.05) more than female students did. 4) In the part of food, there was significant difference between male and female students in the kinds and function of nutritive elements(P<.05). Parents and students emphasized the importance of selecting good food. 5) In the part of housing, male students emphasized home planning, and arrangements and facilities of house more than female students did. Female students emphasized the interior of the house(P<.05). Fathers emphasized the planning of a residential space and arrangements and facilities of a house(P<.05) more than mothers did. 6) In the parts of human development and upbringing, and upbringing, male students emphasized the significance of being parents, family planning and the population problem(P<.001), pregnancy and delivery(P<.01), and the chracteristic of juvenile development(P<.05) more than female students did. Parents and students emphasized the importance of prevention and countermeasures for diseases and the significance of being parents.

The advent of Omni Channel has changed the fashion business model and the role of fashion sales persons. In such situation, internal marketing can become an important organizational management strategy for fashion companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the components of internal marketing of fashion companies for fashion shop masters in an omni channel environment. To achieve the purpose of this study, To achieve the purpose of this study, a qualitative study was conducted to investigate the internal marketing sub-factors of fashion companies. In-depth interviews were conducted for qualitative study. Seven respondents to the in-depth interview were fashion shop masters who had at least 10 years of field work experience. As a result of the qualitative study, internal marketing was derived from five factors, including empowerment, education and training, rewards, internal communication, and management supports. Empowerment factors consist of initiative, encourage creativity, and problem solving. Education and training factors consist of the degree of education and training opportunities, the value of education and training, and the scope of education and training. Rewards factors consist of diversity of rewards, fairness of rewards, and source of rewards. Internal communication factors consist of communication flexibility, diversity of communication and receptivity of communication. Management support factors consist of headquarters support and department store support.

This study was designed to examine the socialization of household work utilizing ecological theory. The main purposes were to identify the socialization level, and to predict the socialization of household work in term of the selected variables. The sample was drawn from housewives of expanding stage of family life cycle in Seoul. 518 respondents were analyzed using SPSS/PC+ statistical package. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Among the variables of food area, education of housewife, type of housing, family income, number of children had significant influence. 2. Among the variables of clothing area, family income was the only important variable. 3. Among the variable of housing area, number of household equipment, number of aids for household work, education of housewife, family income, attitude of housewife’s role, number of aids for household work had significant influence. 4. Among the varables of home management area, number of household equipment, family income, self control had significant influence. 5. Among the environment variables of household work, social-cultural environment had the most important effect on the socialization of household work.
