전기차량에 적용한 Bang-Bang 제어기 연구 (A Study on The Bang-Bang Controller Applied to Electrical Vehicle)

  • In order to establish the robust controller design technique of series wound motor driver system. This paper proposes a method of Bang-Bang controller using a series wound motor driver system under improperly variable load. A Bang-Bang controller structure is simpler than the structure of PID plus Bang-Bang controller. This paper shows that a general 8 bits microprocessor is used efficiently implementing such an algorithm. The calculation time of software is extremely small when compared with conventional PID plus Bang-Bang controller. Both nonlinear operating characteristics of digital switching elements and describing function methods are used for the analysis and synthesis. Real time implementation of Bang-Bang controller is achieved. Concept design strategy of the control and PWM waveform generation algorithms are presented in the paper.

  • The most bottleneck of development of automation excavator system is the making mathematical linear model. Because of non-linear of control circuit, cylinder, join in hydraulic circuit, and heavy loading so on. Therefore, whatever robust controller is designed, real experimentation is necessary. But, a real experimentation has many risks. The excavator is expensive and large size. Therefore a development of experimentation system is difficult and not safe. Specially, there have a difficulty, because of big noise. So, on experimentation is difficult in school. Manufacturing pneumatic excavator modeland using system identification, design a system transfer function in this paper. Also, planning m-PID Controller using CDM, and examining usefulness applied to actuality model.

Digital Controller Candidate for Point-of-load Synchronous Buck Converter in Tri-mode Mechanism

  • A digital controller with a low-power approach for point-of-load synchronous buck converters is discussed and compared with its analog counterpart to confirm its feasibility for system integration. The tri-mode digital controller IC in $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process is presented to demonstrate solutions that include a PID, quarter PID, and robust RST compensators. These compensators address the steady-state, stand-by, and transient modes according to the system operating point. An idle-tone free condition for ${\Sigma}-{\Delta}$ DPWM reduces the inherent tone noise under DC-excitation. Compared with that of the traditional approach, this condition generates a quasi-pure modulation signal. Experimental results verify the closed-loop performances and confirm the power-saving mechanism of the proposed controller.

  • This paper proposes a scheme of auto-tuning fuzzy PI controller and input voltage feed forward to control the output voltage of a three-phase Z-source inverter (ZSI). The proposed scheme adjusts the ts (Kp and Ki) in real time in order to find the most suitable Kp and Ki for PI controller and to simplify the controller design. The proposed scheme is verified the validity by experiment and co-simulation in PSIM and MATLAB/SIMULINK both load step change and input DC voltage variation in Z-source inverter, and has compared with the conventional PID control scheme. The experiment results involve of three-phase output voltage, Z-network capacitor voltage and dc-link peak voltage value. By those analysis and comparison, the availability of the proposed method in output voltage transient response quality improving has been verified. Compared with conventional PID method, the proposed method showed a more effective and robust control performance for coping with the severe disturbance conditions.

  • In order to establish the design technique of the robust current controller in d.c series wound motor driver system, this paper proposes a method of the compensated Bang-Bang current control using d.c series wound motor driver system under the improperly variable load to get minimum time for the torque control.   • This paper presents a new approachtothe design of adaptive control system using DSPs(TMS320C30) for robotic manipulators to achieve trajectory tracking by the joint angles. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time adaptive control algorithms to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In the proposed control scheme, adaptation laws are derived from the improved Lyapunov second stability analysis method based on the adaptive model reference control theory. The adaptive controller consists of an adaaptive feedforward controller, feedback controller, and PID type time-varying auxillary control elements. The prpposed adaptive control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Moreover, this scheme does not require an accurate dynamic modeling, nor values of manipulator parameters and payload. Performance of the adaptive controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a SCARA robot.

온수나방 시스템의 디지틀 가변구조제어 (Digital Variable Structure Control for a Hot Water Heating System)

  • A pilot plant, which is simplified the hot water heating control system of a large scale residential building, is used to investigate the effects of control methods and operating conditions on the system performance and to compare control characteristics. Digital variable structure controller(DVSC) and digital PI controller are implemented to control the speed of the circulating pump for the pilot plant using PC. For the DVSC, a control algorithm is suggested, which using a nonlinear sliding surface and a PID sliding surface outside and inside of output error boundary layer, respectively. Smith predictor algorithm is used for the compensation of long dead time. The suggested DVSC yields improved control performance compared with existing DVSC using linear sliding surface only. the system responses with the suggested DVSC shows good responses without overshoot for various operating conditions and robust under external disturbances compared with digital PI controller.

  • This paper describes the implementation of a fuzzy temperature measuring & control system to control the water temperature in plant. This system consisted of mainly three parts; sensing part, control part that includes a control algorithms introduced the fuzzy theory, and actuating part. The control algorithms of control part are utilized a look-up table method and firmware technique using one-chip microprocessor(89C52). For evaluating the performance of a fuzzy control system, the experiment results of a fuzzy controller are compared with these of a conventional PID controller which provides an auto-tuning function. The experiment results show that the proposed controller has a good control performance and is robust to external disturbance.

Antenna Control System Using Step Tracking Algorithm with H$_{\infty}$ Controller

  • The outdoor antenna servo system is subject to has significant torque disturbances from wind pressures and gusts on the antenna structures, as well as bearing and aerodynamic frictions. This control system should provide a sharp directivity in spite of the environmental disturbances and internal uncertainties. Therefore, the implementation of a real-time controller is necessary for the precise generation of the reference signal and robust tracking performance. In this paper, the discrete-time controller for the quick tracking of a target communication satellite is designed by applying the sampled-data $H_{\infty}$ control theory along with the reference signal generated by an improved conventional step-tracking algorithm. The sampled-data $H_{\infty}$controller demonstrates superior robustness for the longer sampling period when compared with a simple PID controller.
