주관적인 시험에 의한 자동차 타이어 도로소음 평가 (The Evaluation of the Road Noise of the Automotive Tire by Subjective Test)

  • As a remarkable reduction of the vehicle noise, the important of tire noise which is generated from the vehicle and the necessity of the research for the noise reduction is being emphasized. In this study, the road noise which is excited by the interaction between tire and road has been studied. The subjective test(feeling test) according to SAE J1060 rating scale is applied to the evaluation of the road noise. The combination of the several tires and vehicles are made to consider the effect of the vehicle suspension and the tire structure for road noise. The vehicles with 3-different suspension system are applied to road noise test and the eight kinds of tires are selected. As the results, the effects of the vehicle suspension and tire structure which affects on road noise are investigated.

  • So many springs in the rail road trains have been degeaded by the long time operation. Specially vibrations makes worse the condition of the springs. The performance evaluation technique for the rail road spring was developed. Using integrated handy tools using hydraulic systems, LVDT, and related software, On-line evaluation is possible to check the system integrity.

  • Mobility of tracked vehicles is dependent on performance of its power equipment and suspension systems. Especially, its road wheels, components of its suspension systems, play an important role in distributing the vehicle weight on the ground and preventing from misguiding tracks. In this study, the maximum force acted on multipurpose tracked vehicles driven on the worst condition was calculated. And then FE analyses were carried out to evaluate the strength of the road wheels under the maximum force condition. For quality evaluation of the road wheels, FE simulations and experimental works were carried out under specific slant loads. Residual deformation for the slant loads was investigated and commented upon.

  • A tracked vehicle is dependent on performance of power pack and suspension systems. Especially, road wheels which are components of suspension system contribute distributing vehicle weight on soil and preventing from misguiding tracks. In this study, the maximum force was calculated that a tracked vehicle is driven on the worst condition. And then, FE analyses were carried out to evaluate strength road wheel under maximum force condition. In standard of quality evaluation for road wheel, FE simulations and experimental works were carried out under thirty degree slant load of normal direction of shaft. And then, A relationship residual deformation for slant load was investigated. The result of this research is applicable to evaluate strength and to make use of basis data.

A Study on Evaluation of Whole-Body Vibration from Vehicle for Different Road Surfaces

  • The purpose of this study is the measurement of whole-body vibration for different road surfaces. Experimental measurements were taken on asphalt, cement, and off-road surfaces as defined by ISO 2631-1. Each experiment was conducted under the same set of conditions (measurement duration, times, speed, vehicle type). Measurement duration was 10 minutes and 3 separate measurements were taken on each road surface. Vehicle speed was 60km/h. In accordance with ISO 2631-1, an acceleration sensor is set up between the driver's seat and the human body. For evaluation, RMS(root-mean-square) values were taken as suggested by ISO 2631-1. The results suggest "health guidance caution zones", and the evaluation was based on obtaining the vector sum with "health guidance caution zones".

  • This study aims to offer psychological stability and pleasure by reducing noise perception using appropriate visual information which fit to the situation and useful data for the soundscape design. The results can be summarized as follows; 1) In the Loudness evaluation of the visual information with green colored scenary showed lower evaluation rather than the other colors. 2) With the Green and Blue colored scenary with road traffic and shopping street alongside the road, lower perception of road traffic noise was showed. 3) With the White and Red scenary higher evaluation was showed than the original sound, but with the Green colored scenary lower evaluation was showed than the standard sound.

도로교통안전점검차량을 이용한 도로의 자동도면화 생성 연구 (The Study on an Automated Generation Method of Road Drawings using Road Survey Vehicle)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to develop a automate road mapping system using ARASEO(Automated Road Analysis and Safety Evaluation TOol) for road management. METHODS : The road survey van named ARASEO(Automated Road Analysis and Safety Evaluation TOol) was used to generate highway drawings for Korea National Road number 37 automatically. In order to generate the highway drawings for purpose of road management, it is required to acquired the information for highway alignment, road width and road facilities such as safety barrier and road sign. Therefore the survey van acquired and analyzed the road width, median and guardrail data using rear side laser sensor of ARASEO and recognized the traffic control sign and chevron sign using foreside camera images. Also the highway alignment which is the basic information for highway drawing can be analyzed by acquisition the every 1m positional and attitude data using GPU and IMU sensor and developed algorithm. Finally, in this research the CAD based drawing software was developed to draw highway drawing using the analysis result from ARASEO. RESULTS : This study showed the comparison result of the surveyed road width and drawing data. To make the drawing of the road, we made the Autocad ARX program witch run in CAD menu interface. CONCLUSIONS : Using this program we can create the road center line, every 500m horizontal and vertical ground plan drawing automatically.

  • In this paper, we present noise measurement results of 8 vehicles. The measurement was done by a close proximity method attaching surface microphones on the test vehicle. For the 9 road surface types constructed at Korean highway test road, the vehicles were tested from 50 to 120 km/h at the interval of 10 km/h in normal steady state and inertia cruising conditions. Using the results, we evaluate and discuss the effect of vehicle noise generation depending on the different conditions for vehicle type, speed, road surface and loading condition, especially focused on friction noise between tyre and road surface.

경관도로 등 신개념의 도로사업 개발에 관한 연구 (A Strategy for Developing New Road Projects)

  • 최근 도로선진국이라 할 수 있는 나라들에서는 다양한 도로사업의 발굴 및 장려정책이 도입되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 도로사업의 발굴을 위한 대안모형을 제시하였다. 새로운 도로사업 발굴을 위한 절차로는 근거법령의 모색 신개념 도로사업의 발굴, 평가 모형구축 및 운영지침 개발, 관련행정체계 개선 등 크게 4가지의 주요 절차가 필요한 것으로 제시되었다. 근거법령의 모색은 도로법 및 도로법 시행령, 시행규칙 등이 우선 고려되어야 할 것으로 분석되었으며 신개념의 도로사업 발굴절차는 크게 국가적 차원의 유일성 확보 도로, 다양한 가치기준에 의해 선정되는 도로 및 단일시설, 기술(설계 우수VE 및 LCCA사례 포함) 및 구조물 형태로서 발굴될 수 있는 사례로 세분류하였다. 평가모형 구축 및 운영지침 개발절차에서는 미국 NSBP프로그램의 절차 혹은 지속가능한 도시대상의 절차를 사례로 할 수 있으며 분석적 계층화법(AHP) 및 다지역산업연관모형(MRIO)의 적용가능성도 제시하였다. 또한, 관련 행정체계의 개선에서는 건설교통부의 도로기획관실 업무내역 분석을 통해 도로정책팀과 도로환경팀의 역할을 제시하였으며 평가위원회의 구성, 평가과정과 일체화된 예산지원절차를 추진방안으로 제시하였다.
