멀티미디어 시스템의 통신 채널 모델링 및 성능분석 (Modeling and Performance Analysis of Communication Channels for Multimedia System)

  • 본 논문에서는 음성과 동영상을 포함한 멀티미디어 시스템의 통신 채널에 대한 모델링과 성능분석을 수행한다. 음성과 동영상에 적합한 서로 다른 도착 처리 과정을 고려한 멀티미디어 패킷의 입력 트래픽 특성, 통신 채널의 동적 할당 방법, 가용 채널 부족시 데이터 패킷의 큐잉 허용과 제한 시간 경과시의 패킷 손실 처리, 큐잉을 허용하지 않으나 가드 채널을 갖는 음성 패킷의 채널 처리 방식 등을 모델링하고 가용채널 부족시 서비스를 받지 못하는 차단 확률과 큐에서 지정시간 경과시 손실되는 패킷 손실률 등의 성능 지표에 대한 수치결과를 분석한다. 이를 위하여 멀티미디어 시스템 통신 채널 SRN 모델을 개발한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 SRN 모델링 기법은 성능분석을 위하여 필요한 마르코프 체인의 복잡한 해석적 분석 대신 보상 개념에 의한 손쉬운 성능분석 방법을 보여준다.

  • 멀티미디어 이동 통신 시스템은 음성 교환 및 패킷 교환의 실시간과 비실시간의 세 종류 서비스 클래스에 의해 특징지어 진다. 셀에서의 무선 채널은 이들 서로 다른 서비스 클래스의 호에 할당되어 지며 서로 다른 서비스 요구사항을 만족해야 한다. SRN은 추계적 페트리 네트의 확장형으로 모델에 적절한 reward(보상)을 부여함으로써 원하는 성능지표를 쉽게 계산할 수 있는 모델링 도구이다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 이동 통신 시스템의 채널할당과 성능분석을 위한 SRN 모델을 제시한다. 본 논문의 기여도는 성능분석을 위해 필요한 마르코프 체인의 복잡한 해석적 분석대신 종류별 서비스 클래스에 대한 채널할당을 수행할 수 있는 페트리 네트 모델링 기법을 제시하고 모델에서의 보상 개념에 의한 손쉬운 성능분석 수행 방법을 제시하는데 있다.

로열티 포인트 사용행동과 고객생애가치(Customer Lifetime Value) 분석 (The Redemption Behavior of Loyalty Points and Customer Lifetime Value)

  • The main objective of this research is to investigate whether the RFM (recency-frequency-monetary value) information of a customer's redemption behavior of loyalty points can improve the prediction of future value of the customer. The conventional measurement of customer value has been primarily based on purchase transactions behavior although a customer's future behavior can be also influenced by other interactions between the customer and the firm such as redemption of rewards in a loyalty program. We theorize why a customer's redemption behavior can influence her future purchases and thereby the customer's total value based on operant learning theory, goal gradient hypothesis, and lock-in effect. Using a dataset from a major book store in Korea spanning three years between 2008 and 2010, we analyze both purchase transactions and redemption records of over 10,000 customers. The results show that the redemption-based RFM information does improve the prediction accuracy of the customer's future purchases. Based on this result, we also propose an improved estimate of customer lifetime value (CLV) by combining purchase transactions and loyalty points redemption data. Managerial implications will be also discussed for firms managing loyalty programs to maximize the total value customers.

온라인 쇼핑몰에서의 고객 감동경험 고찰 (Exploring customer delight experiences in online shopping malls)

  • Though customer delight is becoming one of the most important marketing key words, research in a retail setting is limited. With the dramatic growth of online retail shopping, this study explored customer delight experiences in online shopping malls by identifying the delight elements and analyzing the elements by online purchase steps. A total of 124 delight experiences collected from an unstructured questionnaire were content-analyzed. Delight elements in online shopping were categorized into service, product, price, delivery, package, and shopping mall operation in that order. Service related elements including free gifts and letters, recovery efforts for service failure, kind employees, and easy return were most frequently observed. Delights were experienced at the product receiving point, the prior-to-purchase point, the order-to-delivery point, and the post-purchase point in that order. The results revealed that customer delights in online shopping were experienced in various purchase steps by various marketing elements. Based on the results the study provided research propositions exploring the effects of expectation vs surprise, monetary vs non-monetary/emotional benefits/rewards, and core marketing elements vs augmented services on delight experiences.

취업자의 사회 연결망 활용에 대한 영향 요인 연구 (A Study on Factors Affecting Job Seekers' Utilization of Social Networks)

  • 이 연구는 1996년 "아시아 사람들의 직장 생활에 관한 조사" 자료를 이용하여 한국의 취업시장에서 사회 연결망 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 취업자를 하위 범주로 나누지 않고 보았을 때는, 사회 연결망이 공식 경로와 직접 접촉보다 더 중요한 취업방법임을 알 수 있다. 다항 로짓 분석 결과는 대체로 취업시장에서 유리한 위치에 있는 취업자 범주가 사회 연결망을 덜 활용한다는 점을 보여준다. 이것은 한국의 취업시장이 여러 가지 기준에 따라 뚜렷하게 나뉘어 있으며, 더 나은 사회 경제적 보상을 가져다 주는 취업시장에서는 공식 경로를 통한 경쟁이 주된 취업방법이라는 한국의 취업시장의 특징을 보여준다.

초등학교 보건교사의 직업 정체성과 직무 스트레스 (Job Identity and Job Stress on Elementary School Health Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to enhancing elementary school health teachers professional job performance by analyzing their job identity and job stress. Methods: The participants were 138 elementary school health teachers registered at the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, and the survey was conducted from the 22nd to 23rd of July, 2010. The collected data were analyzed by percentile, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. Results: The average percentiles of job identity and job stress were 70.6 and 64.0 respectively. Among the sub-factors of job identity, autonomy was highest as 73.5, and among the sub-factors of job stress, job demand was highest as 73.9. There were significant differences in the degree of job identity and job stress according to education status, the number of classes, job satisfaction, enthusiasm for work, and the image of nursing teachers expressed in a word. The regression model explained 21.2% of the variance of job identity. job stress explained 32.0% of the variance. Conclusion: It is important to develop various comprehensive programs for improving job identity and managing job stress. In addition, it is necessary to provide support systems including persons, promotion and rewards to school health teachers.

교환 이론적 관점에서의 가족학 연구에 대한 고찰 (Choice, Exchange Perspective in Family Research)

  • Family researchers had devoted little attention to Choice, Exchange theory by the time 1960. Being anchored by Thibaut & kelley(1959), this theory becomes one of the most widely used theoretical frameworks for family research. Waller's(1938) famous rating-dating hypothesis was intrinsically an exchange formulation. Blood and Wolfe(1960) employed the concept of rewards in their theory of family power. Farber(1964) also used the reward concept in his theory of permanent availability. Heer's(1964) specific application of its concepts to spousal power was among its earliest uses in the family. The general principle or most general proposition of the theory is that humans avoid costly behavior and seek rewarding statuses, to the end maxmize profits. This review will attempt to show that Choice, Exchange theory is applicable to the several arenas of family interaction and that it can provide an explanation for family behavior. Subjects such as mate selection, marital unstability, family cohesion, spousal power, the problems of aged, family co-unseling, and so on are included. By discussing research findings from a perspective of rewrds and costs this review will show that the application of the theory is not limited to one or two substative specialities with in the family domain. After all Choice, Exchange theory is truly general and can be productively applied to any domain of human behavior.

분포 기여도를 이용한 퍼지 Q-learning (Fuzzy Q-learning using Distributed Eligibility)

  • 강화학습은 에이전트가 환경과의 상호작용을 통해 획득한 경험으로부터 제어 규칙을 학습하는 방법이다. 강화학습의 중요한 문제 중의 하나인 신뢰 할당 문제를 해결하기 위해 기여도가 사용되는데, 누적 기여도나 대체 기여도와 같은 기존의 기여도를 이용한 방법은 방문한 상태에서 수행된 행위만을 학습시키기 때문에 학습 자정에서 획득된 보답 신호를 효과적으로 사용하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 방문한 상태에서 수행된 행위뿐만 아니라 인접 행위들도 학습될 수 있도록 하는 새로운 기여도로써 분포 기여도를 제안한다. 제안된 기여도를 이용한 퍼지 Q-learning 알고리즘을 역진자 시스템에 적용하여 학습 속도면에서 기존의 방법에 비해 우수함을 보인다.

간호·간병통합서비스를 적용한 병동 간호사의 환자간호 경험 (Experience of Nurses Participating in Comprehensive Nursing Care)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the experience of nurse in comprehensive nursing care. Methods: Experiential data collected from 9 nurses through in-depth interviews. Participants were selected from nurses working in the comprehensive nursing care unit at general hospital. The main question was "Can you describe your experience in the comprehensive nursing care unit?" All interviews were recorded and transcribed, then analyzed using Colaizzi's method. Results: Nine themes were derived from the analysis: 'Practice nursing care', 'Feel thankful of the client', 'Difficulty in nursing due to absence of patients' guardian', 'Tired of over-demanding patient and distrust of guardian', 'Confusion regarding one's identity as a nurse', 'Not enough to support system', 'Insufficient pre-training for nurse and client', 'Requirement of work establishment for nurse and nurse aid', 'Concerns about low rewards and high safety accidents'. Conclusion: As a comprehensive nursing service, the nurses provided total patient care, and patient satisfaction and expression of appreciation increased. However, disadvantages were identified, such as patients' excessive needs, communication difficulties, lack of support systems, low compensation, and a high number of safety accidents. Therefore, systematic comprehensive nursing will be achieved if these shortcomings are addressed.

조직 구성원의 자아 일치성이 신규 정보기술 도입의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Organization Member's Self-Congruity on the Performance of the Acquisition of New Information Technology)

  • These days, the business environment such as Information Technology (IT) is rapidly changing, and organizations are consistently trying to change themselves for the survival and success under the changing environment. In this situation, change management is very important because it draws the change behaviors of organization members for the success of organizational change. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the organization members' psychological factors on the performance of the acquisition of new IT, which is one of the most important organizational change. Based on previous studies in the area of organizational change, organization members' resistance to change, self-congruity theory, change activities and organizational performance, the research model is developed for validating the effect of organization members' self-congruity on the performance of the acquisition of new IT. Statistical analyses show that self-congruity has a significant effect on the change activities. In particular, private self-congruity has more impact on the change activities than public self-congruity. In addition, self-leadership, rewards and recognitions, and the diffusion of change activities have significant effects on job satisfaction. Self-leadership has a significant effect on organizational commitment.
