Background : To understand Korean medicine it is crucial to first understand medical aspect of 'DongUiBoGam'. It is also meaningful that it became one of the influential book even to posterity. Also based on the apprehension, we can take a view of development of Korean medicine led by 'DongUiBoGam'. Objectives : This study aims to review the status, study field, specialist of DongUiBoGam. In the process, this review will grasp trends in this field of studies and will direct further researches into the right direction. Method : The computerized Korean databases were searched from their respective inceptions up to December 2008. The search terms used were 'DongUiBoGam' and random or Korean language terms related to DongUiBoGam. Several specialized journals were also manually searched for relevant articles. Result : Since the 2000s, DongUiBoGam papers in the Korean Literature is increased. Published 58 papers on The Korean Journal of Oriental Medical Prescription were more than the other journals. 58 papers published in The Korean Journal of Oriental Medical Prescription are the best in many areas related to Korean medicine. Most people have submitted papers related to DongUiBoGam was Woo-yeal Jeong. Conclusions : 'DongUiBoGam' research is conducted and current tendency and outlook for 'DongUiBoGam' is carried out focusing on several associations.

Objectives This report aimed to review literatures using extracorporeal shock wave with syndrome differentiation theory. Methods By March 3, 2020, five foreign electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, CAJ) and six Korean medical electronic databases (KMBASE, KISTI, KISS, NDSL, DBpia, RISS) were reviewed with the key word 'extracorporeal shock wave' and 'syndrome differentiation'. We did not impose restrictions on age, gender, treatment methods, duration, results and the design of the paper. Results Twelve papers met the inclusion criteria. Seven papers used extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy with syndrome differentiation theory and six out of seven papers treated urologic stones using extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. The other five papers used extracorporeal shock wave therapy with syndrome differentiation theory and four of them treated musculoskeletal disorders. However, the data of the characteristics of extracorporeal shock wave was insufficient. Conclusions After thorough review, it is considered to be meaningful to treat urologic stones and musculoskeletal disorders using extercorporeal shock wave with syndrome differentiation theory. However, some of the literatures were limited in their feasibility and reliability in terms of research design. In addition, the data regarding the strength of the extracorporeal shock wave applied on each acupoints was insufficient. Therefore, further study on the use of extracorporeal shock wave on acupoints should be conducted.

Objective: In this research, the literatures on the autonomous vehicles were surveyed and classified from the viewpoint of human factors. Technological development on the information interaction between user and the vehicle was discussed. Background: The studies on the human factors in the autonomous vehicles have been less actively carried out than those on the technological aspects, but human factors are becoming more important in the autonomous vehicles. Method: This study examined the papers published in domestic journals, as well as the papers presented in conferences from 1996 to 2016 through DBPIA. Results: The literatures were classified into those about basic functions and convenience. The papers on the convenience were much less. Conclusion: Human factors are projected to be actively applied, in communication and in device control, in addition to conventional application areas. Application: This study would be of help to find future research areas of human factors in autonomous vehicles.

With the rapid increase of user generated data on digital platforms, the task of categorizing and classifying theses huge data has become difficult. Topic modeling is an unsupervised machine learning technique that can be used to get a summary from a large collection of documents. Topic modeling has been widely used in English content, yet the application of topic modeling in Arabic language is limited. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to provide a systematic review of the application of topic modeling algorithms in Arabic content. Using a well-known and trusted databases including ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, Springer Link, and Google Scholar. Considering the publication date from 2012 to 2022, we got 60 papers. After refining the papers based on predefined criteria, we resulted in 32 papers. Our result show that unfortunately the application of topic modeling techniques in Arabic content is limited.

This study was done to review problems in terms of statistical description and statistical application and analysis. Methods; The authors reviewed 42 statistical clinical study papers excluding 12 Overview papers, 75 Descriptive papers, 48 Animal studies out of 177 papers in the Journal of Oriental Neuropsychiatry in the 5 years from 2002 to 2006. Results : 1) 3 papers(7.1%) had no description of statistical method, only P-values, 25 papaers(59.5%) had tables without description of statistical method, 1 paper (2.3%) had no description of statistical method in study method. 2) 10 papers(23.8%) contained problems in terms of statistical application and analysis. 6papers (6/23, 26.0%) for Student t-test, 2 papers(2/7 28.6%)for $X^2$- test, 1 paper(1/15 6.7%) for the analysis of variance, 1 paper(1/6 16.7%) for Pearson correlation contained statistical problems. Conclusion : It was suggested that consultation of investigators with statisticians and more extensive statistical refereeing, the form of the guidelines for description and application of statistics are needed.

It is fair to say that there are many ethical issues concerning the publication of medical papers. To define the best practice in the ethics of scientific publishing and a proper understanding of appropriate reporting in medical papers, this review should be useful for authors dealing with ethical issues which involve the protection of human and animal rights, the protection of confidentiality and informed consent, fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, author and authorship, copy right transfer, duplicate publication, conflict of interest, and dealing with misconduct cases.

Objectives The aim of this review is to analyze the study tendency in papers related with ankle sprain which are published in Korea. Methods I searched the OASIS and checked relevant Korean journals. I classified the papers by field of study, publish date, main treatment, evaluation methods and analysed the study tendency. Results 1. There are 9 case studies, 4 comparative effectiveness studies, 11 controlled studies. 2. The paper was published almost every year for more than one. 3. Treatment tool such as acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, acupotomy, heating-conduction acupuncture, etc. was used. 4. The most commonly used evaluation method is VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and AHS (Ankle-Hindfoot scale). Conclusions These results suggest that Korean medical treatment on the ankle sprain can be useful as cure medicine, but there are not sufficient evidence based papers, so there should be further studies.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to review the quantitative research literature on measuring caring in order to identify overall trends in measuring caring. Methods: Fifty three papers were selected from four databases including RISS4U, DBpia, KISS, and Korea Med. Results: The number of measuring caring papers has increased since 2000. Approximately 60 % of the total papers were descriptive and correlative design researches with convenience sampling. Jean Waston's theory was the most popular conceptual framework, but much of the research tended to be conducted without any conceptual framework. In that kind of research, 'caring' terms were used without definition. The most frequently used term for the concept of caring was nurses' caring behaviors. Also, 'nurses' was one of the most popular subjects. Thirty six measuring caring instruments were used. Twenty were developed in foreign countries and translated into Korean. The others were developed originally in Korean. Interpersonal Caring Technique - Communication Skills Scale, based on the interpersonal process model, was the most frequently used tool. Among the translated instruments, Coates' Caring Efficacy Scale was the most popular. Some instruments were used without validation. Conclusion: These results provide basic data on measuring caring and indicate directions for further research. In particular, validation studies of measuring caring instruments are needed.

The literature review is purposed to survey a variety of reliability issues for several categories Methods: We divide all of reliability issues into 9 categories: acceleration test, reliability estimation, system reliability, software reliability, reliability data collection and analysis method, lifetime distribution, maintenance and warranty strategy, reliability applications, and reliability applications to military area Results: Dividing all of papers on reliability published in KSQM for 50 years into 9 categories, we provide a chronological roadmap for individual categories, and summarize the contents and contributions of surveyed papers Conclusion: The review paper is expected to provide future direction to improve reliaiblity theories and applications in manufacturing and service industries
