정보탐색에 있어서 이용자/사서의 최적화 접속에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal User/Librarian Interface in Information Searching)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the optimal user/librarian interface in information searching. In order to achive the purpose, the 150 unskilled students as subjects have participated in the study. According to the change of the subjects' psychological information states by the access points within the library system, the subjects have been classified into the five types of model: the initial information state, the accepted identification information state, the bibliographic information state, the stack information state, and the location information state. Librarian's searching support is done for 10 minutes at the each access points. To develop the optimal user/librarian interface, the expected values of the models are calculated. The resultants are as follows: 1) The expected value of the initial information states model is 18.94: 2) The expected value of the accepted identification information model is 27.06: 3) The expected value of the bibliographic information state model is 27.06: 4) The expected value of the stack information state model is 22.38: 5) The expected value of the location information state model is 22.38. Those expected values are compared with each other. The model with the lowest expected value is chosen as the optimal user/librarian interface model. In the result, the user's initial information state model of the optimal user/librarian interface in information searching is developed. In order to search the information with the most effect, user must be interfaced with the librarian at his/her own initial information state.

  • It is important to measuring and monitoring about state vectors of power system for precise operation control. All state vectors cannot be measured because it is economically disadvantageous, so that some state vectors are determined using state estimator. Determination of observability is a important precondition of power system state estimation because state estimation can be performed when given power system is observable. Recently as time-synchronization technique progress, using the PMU(Phasor Measurement Unit), state vector can be measured directly so that voltage phasor and current phasor measurements can be used for power system estimation. In this paper, observability algorithm is proposed to determinate the observability with real/reactive injection power measurements and real/reactive lineflow power measurements of existing measurement system and with phasor measurements of PMU. The jacobian matrix is newly composed for state estimation with measurements of added PMU, and state estimation is performed with least square estimatior. Comparison between state estimation result of existing measurement system and that of measurement system added PMU is presented.

어업실습선의 SPS Code 적용과 항만국통제 현황 분석 (Application of SPS Code and analysis on status of Port State Control in Korea fishery training ship)

  • This study identified application range of SPS Code(Special Purpose Ship Code) applied to fishery training ship in Korea, and proposed counterplan for port state control. The latest contents of relevant convention was verified, used APCIS of Tokyo MOU and EQASIS provided by EU to analyze the current condition and deficiencies of port state control of fishery training ship. As the result, the SPS code equal to passenger ship and cargo ship of SOLAS convention should be satisfied with fishery training ship, and must follow ISPS Code. As for the result of record of port state control, it was confirmed that 8 fishery training ships were inspected 76 times and pointed out with 411 deficiencies in Tokyo MOU nation. 75% of deficiencies were related to SOLAS convention, and 71 times of inspections were conducted in Japan. Because it is not free from the fishery training ship, there is a need for active corresponding and preparation by enhancing local cooperative system and sharing the Internet inspection background, and need to develop and implement in-depth internship program to improve port state control counter plan for the trainees.

  • This paper is intended to provide the background information and justification for Korean highway bridge design code(limit state design)(2012). Limit state design method calculates reliability index and probability of failure through the analysis of the reliability of the experimental database. It has become possible to perform the economical and consistent design by evaluating the safety of a structure quantitatively. In this paper, we used the design specifications of RC slab bridge of superstructure form of Road Design Manual in Part 5 bridge built in highway bridge. This study conducted structural analysis using the method of frame structure theory, design and analysis of bridge by limit state design method, the design code including various standards and Load model applied Korean highway bridge design code limit state design(KHBDC;2012). As a result, it analyzed the effect of safety through comparison. Showing effect of improvement the safety factor and comparing the value of the result, it is determined to be capable of economical design and safety. Furthermore, limit state design method was able to determine many redundant force of cross-section compared with existing design method. It is determined that it can reduce the overall amount because of the reduction of the cross-section and girder depth.

Yeast Surface Display of Capsid Protein VP7 of Grass Carp Reovirus: Fundamental Investigation for the Development of Vaccine Against Hemorrhagic Disease

  • VP7, an outer capsid protein of grass carp reovirus (GCRV), was expressed and displayed on the surface of Saccharomyces cerevisiae for developing an efficient vaccine against hemorrhagic disease of grass carp. The result of flow cytometry analysis indicated that protein VP7 could be displayed on the surface of yeast cells after inducing with galactose. The expression of VP7 was confirmed by western blot analysis and further visualized with confocal microscopy. The specific antibodies against VP7 generated from mice were detectable from all immune groups except the control group, which was immunized with untransformed yeast cells. The displaying VP7 on glycosylation-deficient strain EBYΔMnn9 was detected to induce a relatively low level of specific antibody amongst the three strains. However, the antiserum of EBYΔM9-VP7 showed relative high capacity to neutralize GCRV. Further neutralization testing assays indicated that the neutralizing ability of antiserum of the EBYΔM9-VP7 group appeared concentration dependent, and could be up to 66.7% when the antiserum was diluted to 1:50. This result indicates that appropriate gene modification of glycosylation in a yeast strain has essential effect on the immunogenicity of a yeast-based vaccine.

MCMA알고리즘에서 weighting factor에 의한 적응 등화 성능 비교 (The Comparison of the Adaptive Equalization Performance in MCMA Algorithm by the Weighting Factor)

  • 본 논문은 채널에서 발생되는 진폭과 위상 찌그러짐을 보상하기위한 MCMA (Modified Constant Modulus Algorithm)의 비용 함수에서 weighting factor에 의한 자기 적응 등화의 성능을 비교한 것이다. MCMA 는 기존 방식인 CMA 의 비용 함수를 개선하여 등화기의 출력에서 진폭과 위상에 대한 오차 함수를 최소화할 수 있으며, 이때 weighting factor 의 값이 이용된다. 등화기의 성능을 비교할 때 initial state와 steady state로 분류하고 미리 정해진 레벨까지의 수렴 시간과 수렴 속도 및 안정된 등화 상태를 나타내며, 이들은 weighting factor에 의해 결정된다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 weighting factor에 따라 이들 2 가지 state 에 대한 각각 상이한 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 본 결과를 이용하여 사용되는 통신 채널의 환경에 따라 weighting factor 값을 적절히 선택한다면 고품질의 디지털 정보 전송이 가능하게 될 것으로 기대된다.

트렌치 콜렉터를 가지는 새로운 TIGBT 에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Novel TIGBT with Trench Collector)

  • Various power semiconductor devices have been developed and evolved since 1950s. Among them, IGBT is the most developed power semiconductor device which has high breakdown voltage, high current conduction and suitable switching speed which perform trade-offs between each other. In other words, there are trade-offs between a breakdown voltage and on-state voltage drop, and between on-state voltage drop and turn-off time. In this paper, the new structure is proposed to improve a trade-off between a breakdown voltage and on-state voltage drop. The proposed structure has a trench collector and this trench collector induces an accumulation layer at the bottom of an n-drift region during off-state. And this accumulation layer prevents expansion of depletion layer so that trapezoidal electric field distribution is performed in the n-drift region. As a result of this, breakdown voltage is increased without increasing on-state voltage drop. The electrical characteristics of the proposed IGBT is analyzed and optimized by using representative device simulator, TSUPREM4 and MEDICI. After optimization, the electrical characteristics of the proposed IGBT is compared with NPT IGBT which have the same device thickness. As a result of this, it can be confirmed that the proposed structure increases the breakdown voltage of 800 V than that of the conventional NPT IGBT without increasing the on-state voltage drop.

반용융 압연을 이용한 박판제조공정에 관한 연구( I ) (A Study on Strip Fabrication Processes Using Mushy State Rolling(I))

  • In the direct rolling processes for the mushy state alloy, a mushy state material which simultaneously contains liquid-solid phase is obtained from the exit port of stirring apparatus with a given solid fraction. This solid fraction is dependent on the temperature of within the solid-liquid range which shows to be controlled accurately by the experimental conditions for a given stirring apparatus. Rolling conditions for fabrication the fine surface strip were obtained from direct rolling experiment with mushy state alloys of Sn-75%Pb and aluminum alloy. Influence of solid fraction, rolling speed and initial roller gap on the state of strip surface and solidified structure was observed. We proposed theoretical model for prediction of rolling force, and we compared calculation result and experimental value measured with load cell.

  • The dynamics of unobservable short rate are frequently estimated directly by using a proxy. We estimate the biases resulting from this practice ("proxy problem"). To solve this problem, State-Space models have been proposed by many researchers. State-Space models have been used to estimate the unobservable variables from the observable variables in econometrics. However, applications of State-Space models often result in a misleading interpretation of the underlying processes especially when the absorbability of the State-Space model and the assumption of noise processes in the state vector are not properly considered. In this study, we propose the exact State-Space model that properly considers the faults of previous researchers to solve the proxy problem.

  • This paper is concerned with the design of a robust tracking controller using a state observer on a robotic manipulator under the disturbance. The controller is designed to follow a step or ramp reference input without steady state error in the presence of a disturbance and a system parameter variation. In most cases, since all the state vectors are not measured, unmeasurable state vectors must be estimated or reconstructed. A reduced order observer is proposed to estimate unmeasurable state vectors of the non-linear system. Some problems are caused by the Coulomb friction, the disturbance, and the spring effect of a link between the drive motor and the manipulator arm. The state variables, directly measured and estimated by the reduced order observer, are fed back to the controller. When the robot system exhibits the 'limit cycle, the feedback gains initially obtained by optimal control theory are changed. As a result, the limit cycle is eliminated by the new controller gains,
