  • A fast and practical method is proposed to resolve the half cycle ambiguity by comparing data sequences from multiple antennas. The method uses the fact that demodulated data sequences from multiple antennas are identical for the same SV (Satellite Vehicle). The performance of the proposed method is evaluated using an attitude determination system. the test results show that the half cycle ambiguity can be resolved within a few bit periods after carrier lock and a seamless attitude is obtained.

  • The current reconstrution project has caused many conflicts due to the problems contretely expressed by the following matters. The results of the analytic hierarchy process showed that the stage of promotion the project shoud most be taken into consideration to resolve the cinflict, the prior task of the successful reconstrution project. In this sense as the stage of project planning. it was analyzed as the most important item of coarse classification.

  • Recently Byeong-Uk Yi has attempted to provide a novel solution to the paradox of before-effect by arguing that, upon drawing our attention to the notion of collective causation, we realize that there is a straightforward solution to the paradox. My aim in this paper is to show that Yi's solution fails. To this end, after making explicit two sources of the puzzlement in the paradox of before-effect, I set two requirements one must meet to resolve the paradox. And I argue that Yi's solution cannot meet both requirements at the same time.

  • The CISG has been effective since January 1,1988. Even if both parties of international sales contract are located in ratifying countries, the CISG does not apply to certain excluded transactions. The CISG does not apply if the parties have opted out of the CISG. When the parties opt out, they usually agree on the law that is to replace the CISG. In the context of international sales, the frequent and difficult choice of law problems will arise when the CISG applies to a transaction but does not resolve all the legal issues before the tribunal. So this article deals with the question. What should we select the applicable law in such situations? (1) For products liability issues excluded from the CISG by article 4 and 5, the court should apply the substantive law of the market state and the statute of limitations law of the forum, (2) For validity issues excluded from the CISG by article 4(a). the court should apply the UNIDROIT Principles when its rules resolve the issue.

  • Soldiers can petition. You can file an action within the military to take action, but you are not satisfied and file a petition outside. However, if you try to resolve the petition with public opinion in mind, there are also side effects of defrauding and losing trust in the military. Military petitions must be organized and operated on legal grounds and experts, and results must be transparent and fair. Institutional efforts are needed to resolve petitions so that external petitions are not easily used as a pathway for smartphones to use in the territory.

  • The Continuing Professional Development(CPD) program of Korean dentists had probroms that did not resolve for many years. The primary concern of this study is to examine the problems of the CPD program of Korean dentists and to suggest practical guidelines to resolve such barriers. The findings show that the major barrier for improving CPD program is the lack of total quality management. In order to enhance the CPD program, Special plans and resolutions, such as functional organization, recertification system, pool of verified instructor, and evaluation of CPD program, have been suggested.

  • Dispute plays a key role in maintaining the desirable trading performance. There are many problems such as problems of enforcement of arbitral award and the uncertainty of legal system in PRC. Therefore, the Korean trading companies with Chinese companies should be more concerned with mediation. It's because mediation are more likely to be effective than arbitration and litigation to resolve disputes with chinese companies. This article investigates some differences of mediation between ROK and PRC, and suggests the following ways to resolve dispute. First, the Korean companies should utilize the mediation in small claim but arbitration in big claim. Second, Write a contract and insert mediation clause in BCC or the standard arbitration clause in KCAB. Third, the companies should be more concerned with prevention of dispute than dispute resolution. In conclusion, to expand mediation system into an effective dispute resolution system, The Korean Dispute Resolution Center should be established.

  • Inselecting scars for treatment, attention be paid not only to the features of the defect as seen objectively but also to the element of the defect most disturbing to the patient. We revised the scar tissues with simple elliptical excision, Z-plasty, modified Z-plasty, W-plasty and hand dermabrasion in varialbe pattern of scars and got the favorable results. The success rate of scar revision usually depends on the patient's subjective judgement. We must inform our patient the limitation of scar revision and importance of postoperative care. The oral and maxillofacial surgeons must resolve the variable scars which re involved in variable operations and traumas.

  • Ribbon-type antisense oligonucleotide to TGF-${\beta}1$ (TGF-${\beta}1$ RiAS) was designed and tested to prevent or resolve the fibrotic changes induced by $CCl_4$ injection. When Hepa1c1c7 cells were transfected with TGF-${\beta}1$ RiAS, the level of TGF-${\beta}1$ mRNA was effectively reduced. TGF-${\beta}1$ RiAS, mismatched RiAS, and normal saline were each injected to mice via tail veins. When examined for the biochemical effects on the liver, TGF-${\beta}1$ mRNA levels were significantly reduced only in the TGF-${\beta}1$ RiAS-treated group. The results of immunohistochemical studies showed that TGF-${\beta}1$ RiAS prevented the accumulation of collagen and ${\alpha}$-smooth muscle actin, but could not resolve established fibrosis. These results indicate that ribbon antisense to TGF-${\beta}1$ with efficient uptake can effectively prevent fibrosis of the liver.

  • Many people think that Electric Vehicles(EVs) is the best method to resolve the problems of running out of fossil fuels. But EVs take long time for charging. So, EVs with battery swapping systems(EVBS) are developed to resolve this problem. Nonetheless, EVBS is not spreaded widely because the method of durability test in couplers is not defined. In this study, the evaluation method of durability test in couplers is defined by some standards and the measurement uncertainty is used to increase the reliability of EV couplers.
