Purpose: This study aimed to implement a child abuse prevention program and evaluate its effectiveness based on the Nursing Model of Resilience and Coping Skills Training Model for unmarried mothers during pregnancy and puerperium. Methods: This study had a prospective single-case, AB design with four repeated self-questionnaire measures and three observational measures. Seven unmarried mothers were provided with 10 sessions child abuse prevention program through individual visits from 32 to 34 weeks of pregnancy to six weeks after childbirth. The questionnaire was composed related to resilience, maternal stress, maternal attitude, parent-child interaction, child abuse potential. The observation was measured by video recording (total 16 times) the interaction of parent-child during feeding and analyzing it by three experts. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Friedman's test. Results: Maternal attitude and parent-child interaction were statistically significantly improved after intervention compared to before intervention. However, maternal stress decreased after intervention compared to before intervention, but it was not statistically significant. Additionally, resilience and child abuse potential were not statistically significant. This program is partially effective in preventing child abuse by promoting parenting attitudes and parent-child interactions. Conclusion: This study focused on individual resilience and applied systematic intervention as coping skills training to prevent child abuse. This study is meaningful in that interventions were conducted through individual visits to unmarried mothers at high risk of child abuse, and the program was applied, including pregnancy and postpartum periods, to prevent child abuse early.
Objectives: The major purpose of the study is to examine structural relation among teenager's perception of parenting attitudes, peer attachment, resilience and meaning in life. In order to achieve purpose of the study, we will develop reliable criterion which can measure variable. Method: We will set up structural relational model from relationship between internal and external variables that can influence teenager's meaning in life and we will examine the relationship between variables through structural equation analysis. we will find structural relationship among parenting attitudes, peer attachment, resilience and meaning in life. Results: We analyzed structural relationship among variables targeting 744 middle school and high school students. Teenager's perception of parenting attitudes have positive influence on peer attachment. This shows that teenager perception of fostering attitude have a positive influence even though teenager percepts parent's foster attitude as overprotective or compassionate. However, if teenager percept fostering attitude as overprotective, teenager perception of parenting attitudes doesn't have influence on resilience. Parent's compassionate attitude not only directly influence resilience but also influence resilience through peer attachment. This validates that individual psychological factor, such as how teenager accept and interpret surrounding environment can influence resilience. Peer attachment relationship not only directly influence resilience but also influence meaning of life through resilience. The resilience has direct effect on meaning in life. Conclusions: When one of education goal is to help teenager to find meaning in life and to reach self-realization, We need to have interest in resilience which is known factor for contributing meaning in life. As previous teenager studies has approached this problem, such as maladjustment, delinquency, and depression, it is significant that this study is examined in positive a psychological perspective which focus on healthy adjustment, such as meaning in life based on teenager's resilience and happiness.
Information System is influenced by the innovation of new IT. Therefore, IS should response to external environment's changes quickly. Particularly, resilience should be considered in barriers of IS. This study suggests a new information system evaluation model in which resilience is added to the existing factors of Delone and Mclean. Then the effect of resilience is evaluated through the DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) based on a survey targeting 115 users of a mid-sized manufacturing company. The results show that the effect of resilience is stronger than any other factors in the previous researches. We, thus, suggest that the resilience should be included as an evaluation factor of the ISO27001 information security standard in order to enhance the absorptive capacity of the information system.

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting a hypothetical model of testing for general hospital nurses' job embeddedness. Methods: Data were collected from August 20 to September 19, 2021, by a self-administered questionnaire answered by 428 general hospital nurses. The data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS. Results: Nine of the hypothetical model's 12 hypotheses were supported by the data collected from all participants. The test results indicate that ego resilience, subjective career success, and recovery experience from job stress directly affect participants' job embeddedness. Nurses' work environments were reported to affect ego resilience and subjective career success, while at the same time ego resilience and subjective career success affected the participants' job embeddedness. Work-life balance was found to affect ego resilience and ego resilience affected subjective career success, and at the same time subjective career success directly affected participants' recovery experiences from job stress and job embeddedness. Of these variables, subjective career success had the strongest direct effect on participants' job embeddedness. Work-life balance affected the participants' recovery experiences from job stress, and their recovery experiences from job stress were found to directly affect job embeddedness. Conclusion: These results suggest that different management strategies to enhance hospital nurses' job embeddedness should address nurses' ego resilience, subjective career success, and recovery experiences from job stress.
Purpose: To identify factors influencing health-related quality of life for young single-person households, this study investigated physical and mental health status, health behavior, depression, resilience, and health-related quality of life. Methods: An online survey was administered to members of young single-person households from March 22 to 30, 2022. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficients, multiple regression, and a simple mediation model applying the PROCESS macro model 4 with 95% bias-corrected bootstrapped confidence intervals. Results: The participants were 229 members of young single-person households. Health-related quality of life showed significant relationships with residence (t = 2.80, p = .006), month (F = 3.70, p = .026), mental health status (F = 20.33, p < . 001), and high-intensity exercise (F = 7.35, p = .001) among general and health-related characteristics. Health-related quality of life had significant correlations with depression (r = -.72, p < .001) and resilience (r = .58, p < .001). Multiple regression analysis showed that depression (β = -.57, p < .001) and resilience (β = .21, p < .001) influenced health-related quality of life. Moreover, resilience had a mediating effect between depression and health-related quality of life (indirect effect = -0.002, 95% bias-corrected bootstrapped confidence interval = -0.003 to -0.001). Conclusion: Members of young single-person households tended to be more vulnerable to emergency situations, such as during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, when lockdowns and quarantines were frequent. To improve health-related quality of life in young single-person households, people with high levels of depression or low levels of resilience need special attention and support to promote mental health.

This study attempts to analyze the mechanism of the academic engagement of middle schoolers participating in family education in Technology and Home Economics Education (T&HEE), their resilience, and their parent-child relationships. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of resilience on the association between academic engagement and the parent-child relationship. The participants of the study were 194 middle schoolers in Sejong-si. The data were analyzed using PROCESS macro (Model 4), a method for verifying the mediating effect using bootstrapping. As a result of the study, first, there are significant positive correlations among academic engagement, resilience, and the parent-child relationship. Second, the result shows resilience as a complete mediating effect on the association between academic engagement and the parent-child relationship. These findings suggest the way to improve the relationship of adolescents with their parents is to enhance the middle school learners' resilience by actively participating in family education classes in T&HEE.

Purpose: This study aimedto develop a structural equation model on the relationship among ego-resilience, and teaching effectiveness on clinical education, stress coping style, perceived family support, and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students in order to increase the satisfaction of clinical practice. Methods: The subjects were 399 undergraduate nursing students enrolled in 7 universities and participating in 10 clinical practice setting areas in 5 cities in South Korea. The research was conducted from December 5th, 2009 to February 20th, 2010. The structural equation model was used to perform the analysis with the statistics program of SPSS win 17.0 and AMOS 5.0. Results: Teaching effectiveness and family support showed a direct effect on satisfaction of clinical practice, while ego-resilience and stress coping styles showed an indirect effect. The biggest total effect on satisfaction of clinical practice was teaching effectiveness followed by family support, ego-resilience, and stress coping styles respectively, which accounted for 50.9%. Conclusion: Based on outcomes of this study, the proposed model allows better understanding of the satisfaction of clinical practice. This result implies that strategies or intervention programs enhancing extrinsic protection factors, motivation factors, and intrinsic protection factors should be considered. In addition, a structural support system for increasing the satisfaction level of clinical practice in nursing students should also be considered.

Recently, threats of hacking have been increasing on the national intelligence service network and key infrastructure, including the defense field. The defense information system responds to threats from the outside through the network separation, but if the defense information system is hacked, it has a serious impact on the operations of wartime or peacetime military forces. Today, cyberattacks and threats are rising to unpredictable levels and making it practically impossible to completely block and prevent hacking threats completly. So, in this study proposed a maturity model to assess the level of cyber-resilience, which is the ability to ensure the system's viability and maintain continuity through rapid response and recovery if signs of cyberattacks by the defense information system are expected or occurred. The proposed maturity model is expected to contribute to improving the cyber security level of the defense information system by assessing the level of cyber resilience of the defense information system and identifying and supplementing fields that are lacking.

Purpose: This study observes the degrees of perfectionism (both self-oriented and socially-prescribed perfectionism), academic resilience, and satisfaction with major in nursing students and identifies the influence of perfectionism and academic resilience on satisfaction with major. Methods: Data from 115 second or third-year students in a nursing were collected for two months at different three universities. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Satisfaction with major was higher for second year students compared to third year students. And the satisfaction was higher for those with a higher Grade point average (${\geq}_-3.5$) compared to those with a lower. Self-oriented perfectionism had a higher score than socially-prescribed perfectionism and academic resilience based on self-control was rated the highest score of the subcategories. The degree of satisfaction was positively correlated with Self-oriented perfectionism and academic resilience. The final regression model showed that grade and academic resilience accounted for 34.2% of the variance in predicting the level of satisfaction with major. Conclusion: The results suggest that it is crucial to find a strategy that could enhance academic resilience, especially designed for upper-year university students, to improve the level of satisfaction with major.
This study was conducted in order to find out protective factors on adolescent's social withdrawal. The purpose of this study was to test the mediator effects of adolescent's ego-resilience in the relation between affectionate parenting attitudes and adolescent's social withdrawal. The data were collected from 586 students of high schools located in 'D' city, Korea. Adolescents completed questionnaires on 'My Memories of Upbringing(EMBU-short)', ego-resilience, and 'Korean Youth Self Report(K-YSR)' scales. The correlation and structural equation model were conducted to examine the relations between the variables by using the SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results are as follow: First, while the affectionate parenting attitudes did not directly affect the adolescent's social withdrawal, the ego-resilience had a direct effect on the adolescent's social withdrawal. Second, there was a significant mediator effect of the adolescent's ego-resilience between the affectionate parenting attitude and adolescent's social withdrawal. In conclusion, these results can be used as basic data to prevent social withdrawal of adolescents and increase their ego-resilience.
