Purpose: While prior research has identified ethical issues in marketing research, more research needs to identify specific ethical behaviors that marketing researchers should adopt. This research addresses this gap by identifying a few ethical behaviors that marketing researchers should consider. Research design, data and methodology: The present study has a justification to collect adequate textual data in the current literature using screening process based on the marketing ethics topics and themes, and ethical behaviors of marketing researchers. Results: Based on the literature analysis, a marketing ethics model, which included the principles of fairness, honesty, responsibility, and respect for stakeholders. Since the rise of e-commerce and technology, a growing demand for a method to analyze website user behavior has been growing. Researchers in the field of marketing are responding to this demand by creating innovative interactive platforms. Conclusions: The term "ethical practices in market research" refers to a collection of best practices that, when followed, increase the likelihood that the research carries out is ethical, fair, and accurate. Because there needs to be more theoretical work done on the topic, there should be more empirical studies on ethical behaviors in marketing research.

This study suggested a plan to facilitate the use of research sources in Musicology based on examining information needs of researchers in the field and the status of using the sources. Through in-depth interviews of domestic researchers in Musicology, this study collected and analyzed the researchers' information needs, the status of utilizing the sources, perceived values of the sources and opinions about problems and solutions related to using the sources. Predicated on the analysis, the study noted the plan to facilitate the use of research sources in Musicology in three aspects. First, it is necessary to collect comprehensively and systematize the research sources. Second, education and promotion of the sources to users should be provided. Third, training music librarians and collaborating among the librarians and associated institutions are needed. The study can be used as a basis to effectively provide information and services developed by research institutions relating to Musicology and institutions of art and culture that effectively provide information.

This study aimed to develop Research Data Management (RDM) Services in a domestic university library of Korea. In this study, elements and levels of RDM services are examined and in-depth interview was conducted with university researchers affiliated in Seoul National University, which has the largest amount of research fund among universities in Korea. Interview was conducted to analyze their data management practices and needs of RDM services. Interview results show researchers' lack of awareness toward Data Management Policy and data sharing obligations of funding agencies and academic journal publishers. Also, they had trouble managing research data systematically. However, many of the researchers understand the necessary of research data management and education of data management. Based on the interview result, service elements and contents are suggested for RDM services which is consisted of education services, professional consulting services, curation technical services. This study result will help to guide for the planning the future RDM service in university library of Korea.

As topics of researchers become diverse horizontally or vertically, academic libraries have difficulties to identify the dynamic change of researchers' needs for academic publications. This research aims to illustrate the topic areas of researchers in a department of university by analyzing bibliographies of their publications. First, researchers' publications were used to discover the topic areas where the researchers had published. Second, the cited publications in those papers were analysed to identify the expanded topic areas of these researchers. Finally, highly cited journals were analyzed by network analysis method. The major finding is that the importance of topic areas by the number of journals was not necessarily proportional to that by the number of papers. Researchers have a tendency to use many papers in a small number of journals in a certain topic area. Furthermore, the importance of topic areas discovered by researchers' publications was not the same as that discovered by researchers' citations.

In this study, we investigated the information users' needs and information seeking behavior in the field of science and technology. We found that the science and technology researchers most frequently needed information while conducting the research & development related tasks and drafting research papers. The researchers attributed the main sources of research ideas to be the communication among colleagues and the literature review. The researchers's most preferred information sources were digital libraries, web search engines, and academic information portal. In conclusion, the science and technology researchers regarded the online use of electronic materials as the primary source of information. We hope that this investigation reported herein to be the foundation for developing user-centered information services for the science and technology discipline.

The study is to make a development initiative for humanities and social assets one-stop portal services intended for researchers, thereby establishing long-term road map for Korean Research Memory(KRM) in National Research Foundation of Korea(NRF). The empirical studies conducted for this purpose are as follows: SWOT analysis of KRM's internal and external environment; Usability test for 90 graduate students; Focus group interview for 8 experts. The results of the studies are as follows. First, KRM needs to focus on the sustainability of information provision as well as the integration of research provision. Second, KRM needs to establish the strategy of acquisition for R&D products in quality. Third, KRM needs to be the hub of humanities and social assets and social network platform for researchers. Forth, KRM needs to develop education service for lay users as well as research services for professional researchers.

As many researchers want to predict or assess more about wind condition and wind power generation, CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis method is very good way to do predict or assess wind condition and power generation. But CFD analysis is needed much knowledge of aerodynamics and physical fluid theory. In this paper, Auto-Wind CFD analysis program will be introduced. User does not need specific knowledge of CFD or fluid theory. This program just needs topographical data and wind data for initial condition. Then all of process is running automatically without any order of user. And this program gives for user to select and set initial condition for advanced solving CFD. At the last procedure of solving, Auto-Wind program shows analysis of topography and wind condition of target area. Moreover, Auto-Wind can predict wind power generation with calculation in the program. This Auto-Wind analysis program will be good tool for many wind power researchers in real field.

Today's information services in most archival institutions implement the same administrative procedures for general users and academic researchers, leading to issues hindering the latter's research activities. As such, this study presents a direction for the effective provision of information services by investigating and analyzing information sources mainly used by academic researchers, who are one of the major user groups; researchers' use behaviors in archival institutions; and experiences and perceptions on the such institutions' information services. In particular, surveys and interviews were conducted, and 75 questionnaire responses and 8 interview results were analyzed. The results of the analysis were summarized into the researcher's background information, information sources used, behaviors in using archival institutions' services, information service utilization, improvement requirements, and desired services. Through the results' implications, plans for the provision of information services by archival institutions were proposed based on the researchers' needs and preferences.

Objectives : This study examined the health policy researchers' needs and their accessibility towards health insurance claim datasets according to their academic capacity. Methods : An online questionnaire to capture relevant proxy variables for academic needs, accessibility, and research capacity was constructed based on previous studies. The survey was delivered to active health policy researchers through three major scholarly associations in South Korea. Seven-hundred and one scholars responded while the survey as open for 12 days (starting on December 20th, 2010). Descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis were carried out. Results : Regardless of the definition for operational needs, the prevalent needs of survey respondents were not met with the current provision of claim data. Greater research capacity was shown to be correlated with increased demand for claim data along with a positive correlation between attempts to obtain claim datasets and research capacity. A greater research capacity, however, was not necessarily correlated with better accessibility to the claim data. Conclusions : The substantial unmet need for claim data among the healthcare policy research community calls for establishing proactive institutions which could systematically prepare and make available public datasets and provide call-in services to facilitate proper handling of data.

This study is to explore how the stakeholder views the community needs in a different way in the local district of Korea. The researchers delivered the 3 independent questionnaires to the three types of the community people who are residents, social service providers, governmental officials in charge of local social services. An in-depth analysis was performed to identify the different perspectives of the stakeholder toward the community needs on the basis of the combined approach with the order ranking method and two independent sample T and Z tests. As the result, the three noticeable findings were discovered as follows: First, while the social service providers reported the community needs at the most serious level, the residents expressed the community needs at the least serious level. Second, the stakeholder showed more diverse opinions for the needs of the service activities than the community problem. Third, there was a difference among the stakeholder in the degree of consensus according to the two different analysis methods. The researchers discussed the implication of the major findings in relation to the community needs assessment, and suggested the practical recommendations to improve the activities of the community needs assessment for the community welfare planning in Korea.
