This thesis focuses on developing the appropriate model for teaching Internet ethics based on problem-based learning. In the new learning model, participation of students such as discussion and writing methods is considered important. The research applied the new method at class and analyzed the change in Internet ethics. The result of research shows that internet ethics of learner improved in the voluntariness, respect, participation, responsibility area. Especially, the voluntariness and responsibility areas showed statistically meaningful improvement.

This study is the quasi-experimental research of nonequivalent groups and is designed to measure and compare the awareness and knowledge of 2 groups of undergraduate nursing students - one group who received the education of biomedical ethics and brain-death organ donation and the other group who did not receive the education - regarding biomedical ethics and brain-death organ donation. We conducted this research for the 76 undergraduate nursing students of a certain university located in "C" city. Collected data were analyzed by Fischer's exact test and t-test, ANCOVA using SPSS 23.0 program. As result of the research, it was found that there was significant difference in the knowledge of brain-death organ donation between the above 2 groups (t=35.21, p=.000). In this regard, the education of biomedical ethics should be included in the curriculum of undergraduate nursing students in consideration of factors influencing the awareness of biomedical ethics.

The aim of this paper is to explore various ways to utilize critical thinking in engineering education. To this end, this paper, in the light of the relationship between critical thinking and the program learning performance of ABEEK, reviews engineering design education, engineering ethics education, and engineering communication education, which are major areas where critical thinking can be utilized in engineering education. As a result, it was confirmed that critical thinking skills, especially the elements and criteria of critical thinking, can contribute to the creative problem-solving process in engineering design education, the rational decision-making process in engineering ethics education, and the effective communication process in engineering communication education.

The purpose of this study was to survey the actual state of engineering ethics curriculum in engineering college. This study was carried out through literature review and survey to accomplish the purpose. The subjects for the survey were 31 lecturer from 14 colleges that accrediated by ABEEK and prepare accrediatation. The results of this study were as follows. EAC(Ethics Across the Curriclum) was introduced in Engineering Ethics Education. There were a lot of students in a lecture and the plural lecturers were not appoined. In objectives of education, it was surveyed that focused in engineering situation above all theory of ethics and theoritical contents are entering into large part of engineering ethics education. The lecture method and paper-pencil assessment were used mainly in the lecture.

Korea is striving to establish a research ethics system, but there is still a disagreement as to the level of government involvement in research ethics. Therefore, this study analyzed the formation process of research ethics system in the United States and sought to derive implications for Korea's research ethics policy. The analysis of the present status of the research ethics policy and laws of the United States showed that i) the establishment of regulatory system is done only after the principles of the research ethics or the guideline are presented first in the academic fields; ii) the responsibility for research ethics is to be shared by the federal government and the research institute, and the primary responsibility for research is given to the research institute and the secondary responsibility to the government; iii) the government has imposed a minimum extent of strong regulation on unethical research; and iv) it is necessary to extend the responsibility of unethical research from the individual level to the structural level.

This paper suggests teaching philosophy of technology in engineering ethics class, as a realistic solution for convergence education of engineering and humanities. First, the need for convergence between engineering and humanities are presented, which is followed by the analysis of the current convergence education in Korea, especially since the introduction of the ABEEK. Third, the proposal for teaching philosophy of technology in engineering ethics will be presented, together with the expected effect of such a trial. Finally, the actual implementation of this curricula will be introduced. In 2008 and 2009, the engineering ethics course in Handong Global University adopted this proposal. The evaluation of students will be examined, which indicates the direction that the convergence of engineering and humanities should take.

Due to the fourth industrial revolution, people are excessively exposed to smart devices regardless of age, and the dependence is increasing rapidly. In the same context, various problems on information ethics have emerged to infant teachers and children. Therefore, there is a need to present guidelines for infants on the correct use of smart devices. This study proposes means to promote information ethics education in infant education based on a survey on future teachers attending Department of Early Childhood Education. Also, it suggests development of various teaching materials. The main significance of the research is to provide a balanced information ethics education and to develop interactive teaching materials. It also calls for infant teachers, as wells as infants, to understand the need for information ethics education and to provide desirable media education for infants.

In recent years, the need of the education for the Internet ethics is emphasized as the number of offenses committed by juveniles is increasing. So many researches on the methodologies about educating the Internet ethics have been being performed But, those are not competent to make young people inspire the sense of ethics in the cyber-space because they get trained by the cramming system of education with a textbook in their schools. In this paper, we developed a web-based learning model and an learning system including various multimedia materials that induce the learners for ethics to study actively. And then we applied our system to school education for the Internet ethics, and verified the effectiveness of our learning model and system.

Purpose As modern science and medicine develop, the concept of life is changing, and the importance of patients' rights is emphasized, making it essential for medical professionals to think ethically. However, there is currently a lack of medical ethics research in the field of Oriental medicine, especially for pediatric and adolescent patients, we would like to take a look at this. Methods Through a literature review, we aim to discuss various ethical issues and human rights of children and adolescents that arise when Oriental medical doctors treat children and adolescents as medical professionals and use these as basic data for future research and education on Oriental medical ethics for children and adolescents. Results Medical ethics include the principles of autonomy, prohibition of evildoing, beneficence, and justice, and medical staff must make ethical judgments based on these principles. Ethical issues regarding children and adolescents arise in various clinical situations, and education on medical ethics is essential. Conclusions Discussions on the rights of children and adolescents are becoming active, and their importance is increasing. Therefore, sufficient explanation and consent must be provided to guardians, children, and adolescents with legal rightsand the opinions of the participants must be respected as far as possible.

This study was attempted to suggest future directions for nursing ethics education by analyzing research trends related to ethical conflicts among nurses and the current status of nursing ethics education. In four domestic databases, it was searched as a combination of words 'nurse', 'ethics', 'moral', 'bioethics', 'conflict', 'sensitivity', 'dilemma', 'issue', and 'value'. As a result, 591 papers were confirmed from 2000 to December 2021, of which 111 papers were finally analyzed. The status of nursing ethics education was analyzed for 184 out of 203 schools that operated a four-year bachelor's degree program registered with the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education. As a result of the study, the number of studies related to ethical conflicts among nurses steadily increasing, and quantitative studies on nurses in general hospitals were the most common. The main keywords were identified as moral sensitivity, moral agony, ethical dilemma, and biomedical ethics awareness. Nursing ethics education was operated by 68% of universities as a major subject, and more than half of universities opened it in the first and second grades with one or two credits. As a result of this study, ethical conflicts experienced by nurses are increasing according to social change. Therefore, it is necessary for universities to further expand the proportion of nursing ethics education and to establish an educational model for each grade level for the continuity of the educational effect.
