Robust System Identification Algorithm Using Cross Correlation Function

  • This paper proposes a new algorithm for estimating ARMA model parameters. In estimating ARMA model parameters, several methods such as generalized least square method, instrumental variable method have been developed. Among these methods, the utilization of a bootstrap type algorithm is known as one of the effective approach for the estimation, but there are cases that it does not converge. Hence, in this paper, making use of a cross correlation function and utilizing the relation of structural a priori knowledge, a new bootstrap algorithm is developed. By introducing theoretical relations, it became possible to remove terms, which is liable to include much noise. Therefore, this leads to robust parameter estimation. It is shown by numerical examples that using this algorithm, all simulation cases converge while only half cases succeeded with the previous one. As for the calculation time, judging from the fact that we got converged solutions, our proposed method is said to be superior as a whole.

기도내 이물의 외과적 처치에 관한 연구 (The Surgical Management of Aspirated Foreign Bodies in Airways)

  • The inhalation of a foreign body into the tracheobronchial tree is a child is a life-threatening accident. Forgotten foreign bodies In the airways cause chronic pulmonary infections, allergic asthma, bronchiectatic changes, and lung abscess Foreign bodies that cannot be grasped by bronchoscopic forceps should be removed by thoracotomy and bronchotomy. This report describes our experience In 16 patients who were treated to remove inhaled foreign bodies from the airways after repeated bronchoscopies had been unsuccessful from 1963 to 1981 at the department thoracic surgery of Seoul National University Hospital. The surgical procedures are as follows: 12 patients bronchotomy, 2 patient pneumonectomy, 2 patients lobectomy. In these cases, the foreign bodies are 8 metallic material, 3 plastic material, 1 bean, 1 black snail, and 3 cases of no records. Bronchotomy must be performed as soon as possible in order to avoid more advanced pathologic changes In the Involved lung, such as bronchiectasis, fibrosis or abscess.

New Battery Balancing Circuit using Magnetic Flux Sharing

  • To increase the capacity of secondary cells, an appropriate serial composition of the battery modules is essential. The unbalance that may occur due to the series connection in such a serial composition is the main cause for declines in the efficiency and performance of batteries. Various studies have been conducted on the use of a passive or active topology to eliminate the unbalance from the series circuit of battery modules. Most topologies consist of a complex structure in which the Battery Management System (BMS) detects the voltage of each module and establishes the voltage balancing in the independent electrical power converters installed on each module by comparing the module voltage. This study proposes a new magnetic flux sharing type DC/DC converter topology in order to remove voltage unbalances from batteries. The proposed topology is characterized by a design in which all of the DC/DC convertor outputs connected to the modules converge into a single transformer. In this structure, by taking a form in which all of the battery balancing type converters share magnetic flux through a single harmonic wave transformer, all of the converter voltages automatically converge to the same voltage. This paper attempts to analyze the dynamic properties of the proposed circuit by using a Programmable Synthesizer Interface Module (PSIM), which is useful for power electronics analysis, while also attempting to demonstrate the validity of the proposed circuit through experimental results.

  • Landsat 위성은 지구표면을 장기간 관측한 대표적인 광학위성으로 재난 대비/복구 모니터링, 토지 이용 변화, 변화 탐지, 시계열 모니터링 등의 장기적인 변화에 활용하기 적합한 위성이다. 본 연구에서는 간단하고 효율적으로 구름을 탐지 및 제거하기 위해 QA밴드를 이용하여 구름 및 구름 그림자를 탐지하였다. 그 다음, 참조영상의 화소값을 직접 참조하는 것이 아닌 복원을 수행할 영상 내 화소값으로 복원을 수행하는 SSG 알고리즘을 통해 영상의 결측영역을 복원하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 지표를 관측하는 기존의 가시광선 영역뿐만 아니라 열 파장대역의 다양한 토지피복 상태의 정보를 복원하여 정량·정성적으로 평가함으로써 변형된 SSG 알고리즘의 활용 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다.

RFID를 활용하여 물류정보 처리를 위한 웹 서비스 기반의 연동 미들웨어 시스템 (The Cooperate Middleware System based on Web-Service for Logistics Information Process with Applies RFID)

  • Recently, RFID has emerged as the main technology in the logistic services. When the existing recognition technology based on bar codes brings about lots of problem due to its own limits. RFID becomes the center of attention to solve them. However, RFID is not without any obstacles: companies have their own operating systems, while RFID is developed regardless of each company's special features. RFID middleware system based on web service is expected to remove these obstacles. This paper shows how to operate the middleware based on web service and to lay in the DB the tag informations taken from reader system. Middle assures that companies adopting RFID system for their logistic service are given adaptability to any systems whatsoever, available by way of defining logistic information, tag information and reader information. For this purpose, we implement as the basic web service a middleware system that turns all data into XML(eXtensible Markup Language) of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), the standard data.

  • 어느 정도의 고통은 말기 환자들에게 불가피한 것이지만, 환자의 가족과 친구들은 다른 원인으로 아픔을 겪는다. 고통의 원인을 파악하라. 가능하면 고통이 되는 원인을 해결하고, 불가능하다면 최대한 효율적으로 관리해야 한다. 원인을 줄 일수는 없지만, 때로는 문제의 인식으로도 충분할 수 있다. 모든 것을 잘 요약하는 중국의 한 속담이 있다. " 슬픔의 새가 머리 위를 나는 것을 막을 수는 없지만 머리 위에 둥지를 트는 것은 막을 수 있다"

  • 탈중앙형 SSI(Self Sovereign Identity)가 새로운 디지털 신원 식별 기술의 대안으로 등장하였으나 이는 데이터 거래의 고유 알고리즘 특성으로 인해 효율적인 비식별화 기법이 제안되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 SSI의 탈중앙형 동작을 보장하기 위해 ZKP(Zero Knowledge Proof)의 검증 결과를 검증인 측에서 외부에 제공 가능한 형태로 재구성함으로써 식별자를 제거하지 않는 비식별 기술을 제안한다. 또한, 이는 검증 참여 각 개체에 대한 차등 주권 관리 개념을 제안하는 것으로 재구성된 비식별 데이터를 정보주체의 동의 없이 제공할 수 있다. 결과적으로 제안 모델은 탈중앙형 SSI 환경에서 국내 개인정보보호법을 만족하고, 안전하며 효율적인 비식별 처리 및 주권 관리를 제공한다.

  • 새집증후군과 같이 실내공기의 오염은 최근에 많은 관심을 갖는 영역중 하나이다. 이 오염을 제거하는 효과적인 방법중의 하나가 친환경적인 식물의 공기정화 기능을 활용하는 것이다. 이러한 식물들은 잎사귀를 통하여 오염물질을 흡수하며 동시에 음이온을 발생시켜 실내환경을 개선시킨다. 여기서는 건물의 공기오염원에 따른 적절한 식물의 선택, 배치, 및 관리정보를 제공하는 실내공기정화용 정보시스템에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

  • Recently, structural system of apartment building is changing from wall type to column type to accommodate various life styles of residents in Korea. Reinforced-concrete bearing wall structures have been mainly used in apartment construction since 1980's. It is impossible to remove the bearing wall in case of remodeling a house, so that the lightweight wall is needed to apply to the column type structure of the Long Life Housing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the construction performance of the wall. Constructibility reviews are performed throughout interview survey from builders who charge with managing the construction of the lightweight wall in field. This paper present that constructor prefer the bearing wall rather than the lightweight wall because of the schedule delay, difficulty of management, and lack of skilled labor. The results indicate what we should improve on the lightweight wall from now on.
