A Study on Display Data of Radiation Point at 3 Dimensions (3차원 공간상 방사선원 위치 정보 표현에 관한 연구)

  • In this research, 3D position exploring system was developed to detect direction and position of radiation source by using two general CCD camera. This system consists of a radiation detection device, a controlling device, and a monitoring device. A radiation detection device is composed of a collimator, a scintillator, CCD sensor, and radiation shielding part. Incident radiation is firstly collimated with direction and converted into visual lights in a scintillator. The CCD sensor detect the converted visual light and send a signal as an image. This can explore a radiation source with direction and distance from geometrical structure of two sensors. From these information, the developed 3D position exploring system can provide 3D radiation source information. This research will be useful for managing and processing radioactive materials in remote.

  • Recently one level higher intelligent switching board than established one by the application of intelligent building and digital system are being constructed. Therefore facility's high efficiency, high degree satisfaction, miniaturaization, standardization through application of communication technology and monitoring and controlling by computer system utilized by web-basis power control system and electric IT are practiced. Especially network must be constructed through unified IBS server that monitors every educational institute's switching boards in real time control system. And I intend to create methods to save energy and raise electricity quality by power demand prediction and remote-controled management and operation. In this thesis I intend to suggest measures of forming unified system through researching educational institute's ways of constructing switching board and status analysis and overcoming technical difficulties in user's side and saving and maintenance expense.

  • The automatic determination of vehicle operation status as well as continuous tracking of vehicle location with intelligent management is one of major elements to achieve the goals. Especially, vehicle operation status can only be analyzed in terms of expert experiences with real-time location data with scheduling information. However the scheduling information of individual vehicle is very difficult to be interpreted immediately because there are hundreds of thousand vehicles are run at the same time in the national wide range workplace. In this paper, we propose the location-based knowledge management system(LKMs) using the active trajectory analysis method with routing and scheduling information to cope with the problems. This system uses an inference technology with dispatching and geographic information to generate the logistics knowledge that can be furnished to the manager in the central vehicle monitoring and controlling center.

  • Despite the government's various safety measures, the number of safety accidents continues to rise and the interior is more likely to occur indoors than outdoors. Safety accidents involving young children account for more than 70 % of the safety accidents in the safety accidents, and the ratio of safety accidents in the classroom or classroom is more than 50 %. In this thesis the author proposes the system managing the accidents notification service using LED lighting and access entry control. Utilizing IoT technology, remote control or access can be controlled remotely by controlling multiple lights and entrances from each room and by means of a number of lighting and entrances. By monitoring and analyzing real-time status via server PC and mobile interface, it can control the maximum control and incident prevention, automatic control, and automatic control.

  • In a high speed train, OBCS(On-Board Computer System) is a up-to-date computer control system that provide controlling, monitoring, maintaining and reparing of the important device, supporting a driver, status of a train, service maintenance, managing the remote control mode, driving order & control, control of a electrical or pneumatic circuit and a passenger service. In general, OBCS is located in each car but in a power car, both main and auxiliary computers are used. These avoid a network collision and maintain the independence of condition and failure records with the information of line number, train number and car number. This paper is intended to provide the information about the identification coding method of domestic and foreign OBCS, for the new high speed train (KTX-II).

  • The conventional SCADA being used in the electric railway has the basic functions of remote controlling and system monitoring. Since the SCADA lacks the functions essential to the fault prevention and the system recovery, operators must depend on their intuition and experience to considerable extent. Visually integrated information offered by PIS contributes to the fast system recovery and the state judgment of the power system, and makes a novice be adapted for the operation easily. In this paper, we have studied the various functions and its feasibility that can be offered by PIS.

  • We have designed embedded web sewer system and ported Linux operating system version 2.4.5 at our system. And then We implemented to control and monitor widely separated hardware and implemented to monitor widely separated image using CMOS image sensor HV7131B. Web server is the Boa web server with General Public License. We designed for this system using of Intel's SA1110 ARM core base processor and connecting input and output device at GPIO port of SA1110. Device driver of General purpose I/O for Embedded Linux OS is designed. And then the application program controlling driver is implemented to use of common gate interface C language. User is available to control and monitor at client PC. This method have benefit to reduce the Expenditure of hardware design and development time against PC base system and have various and capacious application against firmware base system.

  • The recent trend in home network system includes intelligent home environments that remote monitoring and control service is achieved without restrictions by device types, time, and place. Also the use of a vacuum robot in homes is gradually generalized on account of the convenience of the use. In this paper, we proposed and realized new home-monitoring system with the employment of an self-movement robot as one trial for realizing an intelligent home under home network environment. The proposed system can freely monitor every where in home, because the system effectively overcame the surveillance limitations of the existing monitoring system by attaching a Wireless Router and WebCam to a commercial vacuum robot. The outdoor users of this system can readily monitor any place which they want to supervise by controlling a vacuum robot with mobile telecommunication devices such as PDA. The wireless router installed with Linux operation system "OpenWrt" made it possible for the system users to transmit images and to control a vacuum robot with RS-232 communication.

Real-Time Soil Humidity Monitoring Based on Sensor Network Using IoT (IoT를 사용한 센서 네트워크 기반의 실시간 토양 습도 모니터링)

  • This paper reports a method to use a wireless sensor network deployed in the field to real-time monitor soil moisture, warning when the moisture level reaches a specific value, and wirelessly controlling an additional device (LED or water supply system, etc.). In addition, we report all processes related to wireless irrigation system, including field deployment of sensors, real-time monitoring using a smartphone, data calibration, and control of additional devices deployed in the field by smartphone. A commercially available open-source Internet of Things (IoT) platform, NodeMCU, was used, which was combined with a 9V battery, LED and soil humidity sensor to be integrated into a portable prototype. The IoT-based soil humidity sensor prototype deployed in the field was installed next to a tree for on-site demonstration for the measurement of soil humidity in real-time for about 30 hours, and the measured data was successfully transmitted to a smartphone via Wifi. The measurement data were automatically transmitted via e-mail in the form of a text file, stored on the web, followed by analyses and calibrations. The user can check the humidity of the soil real-time through a personal smartphone. When the humidity of a soil reached a specific value, an additional device, an LED device, placed in the field was successfully controlled through the smartphone. This LED can be easily replaced by other electronic devices such as water supplies, which can also be controlled by smartphones. These results show that farmers can not only monitor the condition of the field real-time through a sensor monitoring system manufactured simply at a low cost but also control additional devices such as irrigation facilities from a distance, thereby reducing unnecessary energy consumption and helping improve agricultural productivity.

  • This paper aims at developing remote control system to control and monitor distributed various devices such as UPS through internet. TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and UPS operated in a row are adopted for the network management protocol and the application device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in realtime, java-environment software is constructed. Also, HelloDevice, general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, serial communication such as RS-232C is used between controller and applied device.
