습분분리재열기 배수관 진동저감방안 (Vibration Reduction Method for Discharge Line of Moisture Separator Reheater)

  • The 84m discharge line of moisture separator reheater(MSR) in Kori-2 had been suffered by excessive vibration from the beginning of power generation. In 1993, a complementary measure was taken to reduce the vibration level by adding several supports in the MSR pipeline. However, the piping vibration was beyond the allowable limit and an appropriate countermeasure was required to prevent the fatigue failure of the pipeline from the abnormal vibration. In this study, the vibrational characteristics of MSR pipeline and the countermeasure for abnormal vibration was investigated. Among the several vibration reduction methods, piping layout change by smoothing the pipeline was applied to the MSR pipeline in Kori-2. Applying the countermeasure, the vibration level was found to dramatically reduce from 17cm/sec to l.0cm/sec at the full-power operation condition.

  • Risk that breed large size disaster is happening variously for cause at social. natural a management. Incidence and damage scale are trend that increase rapidly than past. In these circumstance, to keep operational continuity of organization, area, society, risk management action that establish systematic counter measure estimating and analyze occurrence possibility and expectation damage of risk is essential indispensable issue and the best countermeasure. Risk management action does by main purpose establish optimum disaster reduction countermeasure. To deduce various countermeasure, process that estimate and analyze occurrence possibility and expectation damage of risk is essential indispensable issue. Therefore, this paper studies process design that can presume risk occurrence frequency and damage scale through distribution of probability.

Parameter Estimation of Linear-FM with Modified sMLE for Radar Signal Active Cancelation Application

  • This study examined a radar signal active cancelation technique, which is a theoretical way of achieving stealth by employing a baseband process that involves sampling the incoming hostile radar signal, analyzing its characteristics, and generating countermeasure signals to cancel out the linear-FM signal of the hostile radar signal reflected from the airborne target. To successfully perform an active cancelation, the effects of errors in the countermeasure signal were first analyzed. To generate the countermeasure signal that requires very fast and accurate processing, the down-sampling technique with the suboptimal maximum likelihood estimation (sMLE) scheme was proposed to improve the speed of the estimation process while preserving the estimation accuracy. The simulation results showed that the proposed down-sampling technique using a 2048 FFT size yields substantial power reduction despite its small FFT size and exhibits similar performance to the sMLE scheme using the 32768 FFT size.

  • In this study, the effects of oxygen component in fuel and exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) method on the exhaust emissions has been investigated for a D.I. diesel engine. It was tested to estimate change of exhaust emission characteristics for the commercial diesel fuel and oxygenate blended fuel which has five kinds of blending ratio. Dimethoxy methane(DMM) contains oxygen component 42.5% in itself. and it is a kind of effective oxygenated fuel for reduction of smoke emission. It was affirmed that smoke emission was decreased with increasing of DMM blending ratio. But, NOx emission was increased compared with commercial diesel fuel. It was needed a NOx reduction countermeasure that EGR method was used as a countermeasure for NOx reduction. It was found that simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx emission was achieved with DMM blended fuel and cooled EGR method($10{\sim}15%$).

광해로 인한 지반침하의 효율적인 보강방안에 관한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis on Effective Countermeasure for Ground Subsidence due to Mining Hazard)

  • 폐탄광 지역에 도로, 철도 등의 시설물이 건설되는 경우, 침하를 억지하기 위한 지반보강이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 보강공법을 적용한 경우에 대한 수치해석을 실시하여 적용공법별 지반보강효과를 평가하였다. 해석결과 채굴적 상부지반만을 보강하는 경우에는 보강효과가 작았으며, 채굴적을 충전하는 공법이 지반침하를 억지하는 효과가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 채굴적을 충전하여 지반을 보강하는 경우, 지반침하는 채굴적의 충전율에 따라 쌍곡선형태로 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 채굴적 충전율과 침하저감율 사이의 상관관계를 제시하였다.

  • As the waterpower generation plant, the subject of this Study, is a facility that produces plenty of electricity corresponds to $196{\sim}240GWh$ annually, and in its generation process it creates a loud noise when the turbine related to the hydraulic turbine dynamo revolves, and since such loud noise must be transmitted to the dynamo room and amplified, it is effecting a lot of influences to the adjacent office and space. In such viewpoint, this Research, based on the soundproof measure presented at the preceding research, has attempted to evaluate about the effect of noise-reduction countermeasure against the hydraulic turbine dynamo using Auralizational Technique through Psycho-Acoustics Experiment. It deems that such result could be applied hereafter as the useful material when setting up a soundproof countermeasure for the hydraulic turbine dynamo room in dam.

  • This paper deals with an analysis and countermeasure for improving the shock performance of laptop computers. The shock analysis is carried out by using the commercial program of LS-DYNA3D. Also the analysis is verified by the measurements from modal tests and shock tests. The available countermeasures are investigated theoretically and experimentally to find the effective methods of reducing the shock acceleration on hard disk driver during one side fall test. The hard disk drive is the most sensitive part in a laptop computer. This research shows the effects of the spring constant of rubber pad, the reinforcement of mechanical parts and the location of a hard disk driver, on the shock reduction.

  • Recently data centers are being established or expanded according to IT industry development. A data center must be to install emergency generator. In case of the data center located the densely populated urban area, the operating noise of an emergency generator can be the cause of complains. In this case, in order to establish an effective and economical measure and quantitative and thorough review is needed by noise & vibration specialists. To achieve this, in this study, it is suggested noise reduction measure using noise measurement data and 3D noise analysis method.

역사의 방진대책에 따른 진동 저감 예측 (The Prediction of Vibration Reduction due to Vibration Isolating Countermeasure at Railway Station)

  • When the trains are passed the station, a serious force is applied to ground and the caused vibration is propagated to the area of the station by the ground and rocks. The caused vibration brings about the operation interruption of the equipment which is sensitive to the vibration, or will bring about the structural damage of the station. In this study, to investigate the vibrational evaluation of railway station by the train service, the vibration simulation was performed and analyzed the effect of the vibration isolating countermeasure. From the vibration measurement, all trains that passed through the station exceeded the vibration criteria. Therefore, the vibration isolating countermeasure was established and the vibration simulation was performed.
