  • As the railway transportation is getting faster and its operation speed has increased rapidly, its signal control has been complicated. For real time signal processing it is very important to prohibit any critical error from causing the system to malfunction. Therefore, handling complicated signals effectively while maintaining fault-tolerance capability is highly expected in modern railway transportation industry. In this paper, we suggest an SoC (Sytem-on-Chip) design method to integrate these complicated signal controlling mechanism with fault tolerant capability in a single chip. We propose an SoC solution which contains a high performance 32-bit embedded processor, digital filters and a PWM unit inside a single chip to implement ATO's, ATC's, ATP's and ATS's digital signal-processing units. We achieve an enhanced reliability against the calculation error by adding fault tolerance features to ensure the stability of each module.

  • 최근 방대한 양의 스트림 데이터가 생산되면서 이를 실시간으로 처리하기 위한 프레임워크가 등장하였으며, 오픈 소스 영역에서 Spark Streaming이 주목받고 있다. Spark Streaming은 분산 환경에서 성능 향상을 위해 지연 스케줄링을 기반으로 응용을 수행하지만, 장애 발생 시 사용 가능한 태스크 슬롯을 빠르게 할당받지 못할 경우 장애 복구 시간이 지연될 수 있다는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 실행자의 태스크 슬롯 보장을 통해 대기 시간 없이 즉시 할당할 수 있도록 하는 개선 메커니즘을 제안하였고, 실험 결과 장애 복구 응답성이 39.14% 개선됨을 확인하였다.

  • 이메일 서비스 사용자들은 스패머가 무차별적으로 발송하는 스팸메일에 의한 정신적 경제적 피해를 입고 있다. 이러한 피해를 막기 위해 필터링, RBL (Real-time Blackhole List)과 같은 스팸차단 기법이 등장하였고 많은 메일서버에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이는 스팸메일의 근본적인 원인은 해결하지 못하며, 높은 차단율을 유지하기 위해서는 지속적인 관리 및 업데이트가 필요하다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위한 기법으로 송신자 자가인증 기법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 송신자 자가인증 기법을 적용하여, 스팸메일을 근본적으로 차단하고 지속적인 업데이트가 필요 없는 스팸차단 서버 및 애플리케이션을 구현하였다.

Expression of the mexA Gene Requires the DNA Helicase RecG in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1

  • This study provides evidence that RecG regulates the expression of the OxyR-independent gene mexA in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1. A reduction in mexA expression was observed in the absence of RecG, but not OxyR, by northern blot and quantitative real-time PCR analyses. The canonical palindromic RecG binding sequence was present upstream of the mexA promoter, and bound purified RecG and single strand-binding protein. These data reveal a novel mechanism of OxyR-independent gene transcription by RecG.

  • 현재 네트워크 시스템 구조는 고정된 호스트에게 실시간 서비스를 제공할 수 있지만, MH(Mobile Host)가 빈번하게 이동하는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에는 높은 수준의 QoS(Quality of Service)를 제공하지 못한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 Mobile IP와 Cellular IP 통할 환경에서 MH의 핸도오프를 내부영역 핸드오프(intra­domain handoff)와 외부영역 핸드오프(inter­domain handoff)로 나누어 실시간 서비스를 제공하기 위한 자원 예약 기법을 제안한다. 이 예약 기법은 MH의 이동에 관계없이 높은 수준의 QoS를 제공할 수 있고, Mobile IP 네트워크 영역의 부하를 줄일 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • Field robot represented by excavator can be applied for various working in manufacturing, construction, agriculture etc. Because of the flexibility of its multi-joint mechanism and the high power of hydraulic actuators. Since the excavator operates in the hazardous working circumstance, operators exposed in harmful environment. Therefore, automation system has been investigated to protect from the harmful environment. In this paper, the method to construct the remote control system is proposed. The remote control system is consisted of a manual and auto mode. Manual mode controls a hydraulic cylinder as open loop control. and auto mode controls the end effecter of excavator using tracking control system. The efficiency of remote control system was evaluated through the field test.

  • This paper describes the method of position error reduction in Linear Pulse Motor (LPM). Though the micro step exiting method is applied, the vibration and position error caused by trust distortion from mechanism still remains. This paper presents the method for reduction of position error on moving the mover at whole cycle, by compensating a scale factor through real-time control of the PWM pulse width corresponding to exiting current command and absolute position error from linear encoder.

  • This paper is proposed a fuzzy neural network controller based on the vector controlled induction motor drive system. The hybrid combination of fuzzy control and neural network will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper is proposed estimation and control of speed of induction motor using ANN Controller. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The error between the desired state variable and the actual one is back-propagated to adjust the rotor speed, so that the actual state variable will coincide with the desired one. The back propagation mechanism is easy to derive and the estimated speed tracks precisely the actual motor speed. This paper is proposed the theoretical analysis as well as the simulation results to verify the effectiveness of the new method.
