Properties of positive real systems in time domain (양실 시스템의 시간영역에서의 특성)

  • This paper provides some properties of positive real systems in time domain. It is well-known that a positive real system and a bounded real system are closely related by bilinear transform in a frequency domain. By using supply rate and storage function, we show that a positive real system can be transformed into a bounded real system, and that a positive real system can be transformed into another positive real system with in a time domain. Also, we show that an ESPR(extended strictly positive real) system can be decomposed into a feedback system of lossless positive real system and another ESPR system. These results may be used to design an output feedback controller for mixed H$H_2$ESPR problem.

  • The SoC and digital technology development recently enabled the emergence of information devices and control devices because the SoC present many advantages such as lower power consumption, greater reliability, and lower cost. It is required to use an embedded operating system for building control systems. So far, the Real-Time operating system is widely used to implement a Real-Time system since it meets developer's requirements. However, Real-Time operating systems reveal a lack of standards, expensive development, and license costs. Embedded Linux is able to overcome these disadvantages. In this paper, the implementation of control system platform using Real-Time Embedded Linux is described. As a control system platform, we use XScale of a Soc and build Real-Time control platform using RTAI and Real-Time device driver. Finally, we address the feasibility study of the Real-Time Embedded Linux as a Real-Time operating system for mobile robots.

  • Hydraulic servo system is difficult to be made up and each component is very expensive, it takes long for actual system to make and test and it costs a high price. Because of these characteristics of hydraulic servo system, a real time simulator that could describe behavior of real system is highly demanded, without composing real hydraulic system. So, many studies have been (lone on these subjects and many simulators are developed with superiority. Since the nonlinearity of a hydraulic system common simulator have composed of many calculative times byusing DSP(Digital Signal processing) and have made it possible to find the situations of the system in real time, calculating hydraulic simulation and controller separately. In this study, we suggest real-time simulator that could describe real system without ordinary DSP card. This simulator is composed of 80196kc and personal computer. DSP card that has calculated complex numerical equation is supplanted by personal computer and 80196kc generates control signals independently out of the personal computer. In all process, personal computer is synchronized with one-board microprocessor within sampling time in the closed loop system. This makes it possible to be described in hydraulic servo system in real time. And to make a comparison between the result of the real-time simulator and a hydraulic servo system.

  • Multi Progress Planning System problem in a multi-stage manufacturing system have a complexity and peculiarity different from other kinds of production system. World leading company has invested much cost and effort into a Real-Time Planning System and intelligent manufacturing field to obtain their own competitiveness. Especially Real-Time Planning System for ship production process as a part of intelligence for a shipyard. Real-Time Planning System, simulation based system, or virtual manufacturing system is an approach to achieve a such goal. It is expected that the Real-Time Planning System will contribute to the improvement of the productivity in working process at a shipyard. Also, This Real-Time Planning System will optimize the entire shipbuilding process in a multi progress planning environment for the delivery.

  • Recently, most of the embedded system have the function of multimedia information processing and network connecting. This make the overall system more complicated and need a new approach. Moreover the embedded system must be real-time system, which are different with Linux is constructed and the kernel is redesigned on the strong-arm board in order to make the real-time embedded web-server system.

  • As the complexity of the power system becomes higher, tests of the new devices, such as exciter and PCS(Power Conversion System) of the distributed generation sources, in the real operating condition are more important. However tests of the unverified devices in the real power system may cause hazardous malfunction of the system. In order to avoid this problem, power devices may be tested with the real-time simulators instead of the real power system. This paper presents an real-time multi machine power system simulator using PCs(Personal Computer) and Fast Ethernet. Developed real-time simulator performs the electro-mechanical dynamic simulation of multi-machine power system by the network distributed computing technique. Because the simulator consists of usual PCs and Fast Ethernet, it is possible to make up a simulation system very cheaper than the conventional real-time simulator which consists of dedicated expensive hardware devices. The performance of the developed simulator is tested and verified with the scaled model excitation system. The test which adjust the control parameters of the exciter is performed with the well-known New England 10 generator 39 bus sample power system.

However, it is nearly impossible to use the SoC without operating systems because the SoC is included with many peripherals and complex architecture. It is required to use embedded operating systems and real-time operating systems may be used as an embedded operating system. So far, real-time operating systems are widely used to implement a Real-Time system since it meets developer's requirements. However, real-time operating systems have disadvantages including a lack of standards, expensive development, and license. Embedded Linux is able to overcome their disadvantages. In this paper, the implementation of control system platform for a mobile robot using real-time Embedded Linux is described. As a control hardware system platform, XScale board is used. As the real-time Embedded Linux, RTAI is adopted which is open source and royalty free, and supports various architectures and real-time devices, such like real-time CAN and real-time COM. This paper shows the implementation of RTAI on XScale board that means the porting procedure. We also applied the control system platform to the mobile robot and compared the Real-Time serial driver with non real-time serial driver. Experimental results show that that using RTAI is useful to build real-time control system with powerful functionalities of Linux.

  • This paper deals with the real-time message network system by a CAN (controller area network) based on the real-time distributed control scheme to integrate actuators and sensors in a humanoid robot. In order to apply the real-time distributed processing for a humanoid robot, each control unit should have the real-time efficient control method, fast sensing method, fast calculation and real-time valid data exchange method. Moreover, the data from sensors and encoders must be transmitted to the higher level of control units in maximum time limit. This paper describes the real-time message network system design and the performance of the system.

  • Currently, information technologies such as blockchain and metaverse are being innovatively developed in Korea and around the world. The government has defined the innovation of these cyber-related technologies as the fourth industrial revolution and presented the Digital New Deal as an important policy of the Korean version of the New Deal, and is implementing various policies and systems related to it. This situation is expected to affect the development of the real estate registration system in Korea. Moreover, as the Supreme Court is currently promoting the transition to a future registration system, it is necessary to examine whether blockchain technology, which allows parties to exchange value without a third party guaranteeing the transaction, can be used in the real estate registration system. In order to secure the credibility of the real estate registration as electronic information under the registration system that introduces electronic registration and blockchain system, the transparency of transaction identification and real estate registration details should also be recorded using the blockchain system as a way to prevent such crimes and legal disputes. As a solution, it is worth considering how to improve the reliability of transaction identification, recognize the actual examination rights of the registrar in the foundation system of the real estate register, and increase public trust by going through the notarization stage when recording rights such as real rights, and consider how to introduce a blockchain system at this stage to ensure integrity and reliability. In the stage before the current real estate registration and study system is converted to a blockchain system, the clarity, transparency, and consistency of the real estate registration entries with the actual real estate must be established so that the real estate study can finally be recognized as authoritative, thereby ensuring the trust of the transaction parties to the real estate study system that has adopted the blockchain system in the future, and bringing us closer to the goal of real estate transactions in the form of smart contracts between the parties who have trusted it based on transparency and integrity of real estate study in the real estate transaction market.
