  • Recently So far Many low-cost mobile machinery have been produced. Those are being used for study and business. But those are some weak Points which are small-capacity storage and quite low-speed system. If we use general database programs or key-searching algorithm, It could decrease in performance of system. To solve those Problems, we applied CBDS(Compact Binary Digital Search) trie to mobile environment. As a result we could accomplish our goal which are quick searching and low-capacity indexing. We compared with some Java classes such as TreeSet to evaluation. As a result, the velocity of searching was a little slow than B-tree based TreeSet. But the storage space have been decreased by 29 percent. So I think that it would be practical use.

  • This study identifies consumer needs and a pattern sensory evaluation of jacquard fabrics for raincoats using quick-drying-absorbing polyester. We investigate the consumer's consciousness and raincoat improvements. Twelve kinds of jacquard fabrics were developed for use in this study. Developed jacquard fabrics were assessed subjectively by 152 university students using a 7-point scale of 26 consumer needs and 31 pattern image sensory descriptors. Data were analyzed by SPSS. The major results were: There was a need for consumers to improve the front fastener type, cuff fastener, mesh patch position, and raincoat pocket position. The most important parameter to choose raincoat fabric was waterproof and the other parameters were vapor-porous/water repellent, design, color, fashionability, air-permeability and easy-put on/off. The pattern image sensibility of jacquard fabrics was explained by seven factors: gorgeous, simple, cute, futuristic, ethnic, feminine, and cool. A higher pattern preference was found in the jacquard fabrics of unique, sporty, natural, luxurious, and trendy images. The pattern preference was predicted at 45.3% with gorgeous, simple, pure, cute, futuristic factors. The correlation coefficient between the pattern image sensibility factor 1 (gorgeous) and pattern preference was 0.674 and with factor 3 (cute) was 0.416, and with factor 6 (cool) was 0.209. The 4 factors (gorgeous, simple, cute, futuristic) were selected as a significant pattern image sensibility that influenced preference.

  • The design of a fuel cells stack is important to get optimal output power. This study focuses on the evaluation of fuel cell system for unmaned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Low temperature proton exchange membrane (LTPEM) fuel cells are the most promising energy source for the robot applications because of their unique advantages such as high energy density, cold startup, and quick response during operation. In this paper, a 600 W open cathode LTPEM fuel cell was tested to evaluate the performance and to determine optimal operating conditions. The open cathode design reduces the overall size of the system to meet the requirement for robotic application. The cruise power requirement of 600 W was supported entirely by the fuel cell while the additional power requirements during takeoff was extended using a battery. A peak of power of 900 W is possible for 10 mins with a lithium polymer (LiPo) battery. The system was evaluated under various load cycles as well as start-stop cycles. The system response from no load to full load meets the robot platform requirement. The total weigh of the stack was 2 kg, while the overall system, including the fuel processing system and battery, was 4 kg.

  • A real-time PCR assay using hybridization probe (HybProbe) has been developed to detect Brucella (B.) melitensis strains. The primer and HybProbe sets were designed based on the gap gene of chromosome I with a specific single nucleotide polymorphism of B. melitensis. Specificity of the assay was confirmed by comparison to reference Brucella species and other related strains. In the melting curve analysis, B. melitensis generated a peak at $67^{\circ}C$ unlike those for other Brucella species observed at $61^{\circ}C$. Sensitivity of the assay for B. melitensis ranged from 20 ng to 200 fg of genomic DNA. The ability to identify 94 Mongolian B. melitensis isolates using the real-time PCR assay was identical to that of classical biotyping methods and differential multiplex PCR. These data showed that this new molecular technique is a simple and quick method for detecting B. melitensis, which will be important for the control and prevention of brucellosis.

  • This paper has proposed a new-type groundwater auto-monitoring system based on Multi-Sensor Device. The system adopted Multi-Sensor Device as host computer of data acquisition, used Windows Mobile which was prevalent operation system of Multi-Sensor Device. It adopted serial port CAN and RS485 as the communication interface between goundwater sensor Device and monitor host machine and utilized serial-linked multi-sensor design to measure effectively according to the depth of groundwater. We present a design for a groundwater monitoring system based on a network of wirelessly linked sensors. The proposed solution will enable groundwater researchers and decision makers to have quick access to the groundwater data with less effort and cost. Though our design is initially meant for groundwater monitoring, it can be easily adapted to other fields of environmental monitoring.

  • In this study, a training program was conducted to improve the performance of the basic movement of the basket-to-handstand mount. After completion of the training program, the kinematic comparison of the before and after effects were investigated to provide scientific data about this technique. It is recommended that during P1, the center of body mass at the back should push the hip joint to flex quickly, and the shoulder joint should be maintained at a maximum angle. During P2, the body's center of mass must be accelerated so as to create enough momentum to rise efficiently for this, quick extension of both the hip and the shoulder is required. For safety during P3, it is advised that the speed upwards must be increased and that the hands, shoulders, and hip joint must be extended, as in the posture of a handstand. These results stress to coaches the importance of the bodies speed during the ascent in the motion.
