  • We give definitions of hyperholomorphic functions of quaternionic functions of two quaternionic variables. We investigate properties of hyperholomorphic functions on quaternion analysis, and obtain equivalence relations for domains of hyperholomorphy and hyper Stein domains in a domain of $C^2{\times}C^2$.

  • This paper indicates that the use of Euler angles lacks in its consistency and exactness of analysis when it was applied to incorporate the rotational equation of motion for rotor systems by previous researcher. Kinetic energy and angular velocity are different from case to case depending on the way of choosing Euler angles and thus only the linear system has been investigated even though the rotor system has a very nonlinear behavior. A new methodology is applied by using both spherical coordinate and quaternion in the rotor rotation to overcome weaknesses of Euler angles and shows its superiority It is found through numerical examples that the use of quaternion will be a more useful and valid tool to derive the numerical model of the rotor system.

  • A sliding mode control of spacecraft attitude tracking with actuator, especially reaction wheel, is presented. The sliding mode controller is derived based on quaternion parameterization for the kinematic equations of motion. The reaction wheel dynamic equations represented by wheel input voltage are presented. The input voltage to wheel is calculated from the sliding mode controller and reaction wheel dynamics. The global asymptotic stability is shown using a Lyapunov analysis. In addition the robustness analysis is performed for nonlinear system with parameter variations and disturbances. It is shown that the controller ensures control objectives for the spacecraft with reaction wheels.

  • The flight performance evaluation of navigation system is very significant because the reliability of navigation data directly affect the safety of aircraft. Especially, the high-level navigation system such as DGPS/INS, need more precise flight performance evaluation method. The performance analysis is evaluated by comparing between the navigation system in aircraft and reference trajectory which is more precise than navigation system in aircraft. In order to verify DGPS/INS performance of m-level, the GPS receiver, which is capable post-processed Carrier-phase Differential GPS(CDGPS) method of cm-level, have to be used as reference system. The DGPS/INS is estimated the Center of Gravity (CG) point of aircraft to offer precise performance while the reference system is output the position of GPS antenna which is mounted on the outside of aircraft. Therefore, in order to more precise performance evaluation, it needs to compensate the lever arm and coordinates transformation. This paper use quaternion and Direct Cosine Matrix(DCM) methods as coordinate transformation matrix in lever arm compensation of CDGPS reference trajectory. And it compares NED errors of DCM and quaternion transformation in lever arm of reference trajectory via DGPS/INS result.
