다자유도 비선형계의 불규칙 진동 해석 (Random Vibration of Non-linear System with Multiple Degrees of Freedom)

  • Vibration of a non-linear system with multiple degrees of freedom under random parametric excitations was evaluated by probabilistic method. The non-linear characteristic terms of system structure were quasi-linearized and excitation terms were remained as they were. An analytical method where the expectation values of square mean of error was minimized was used. The numerical results were compared with those obtained by Monte Carlo simulation. A linear congruential generator and Box-Muller method were used in Monte Carlo simulation. The comparison showed the results by probabilistic method agreed well with those by Monte Carlo simulation.

  • In this study, the process parameters in powder compaction are optimized for getting high relative densities. To find optimized parameters, the analytic models of powder compaction are firstly prepared by 2-dimensional rod arrays with random green densities using a quasi-random multi-particle array. Then, using finite element method, the changes in relative densities are analyzed by varying the size of the particle, the amplitude of cyclic compaction, and the coefficient of friction, which influence the relative density in cyclic compactions. After the analytic function of relative density associated process parameters are formulated by aid of the response surface method, the optimal conditions in powder compaction process are found by the grid search method.

  • The proper design of man-machine systems requires as much understanding of the human element as of the machine. Although the modern systems engineer can obtain a very high degree of repeatability and accuracy for the characteristics of a machine, these of the human elements are much less well known. Due to the complexity and importance of modern man-machine systems, this difficult problem has recently received increasing attention. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of the human operator have been newly determined by impulse estimation using Pseuo-random binnary signals as a test signal and the quasi-linear human operator models used as an element of a closed-loop control system adopted from McRuer & Krendel and Bekey. Also the techniques and instruments are presented for correlating the actual characteristics of the constructed system with anticipated theoretical values. Consequently, in spite of many problems remain yet, experimental results were very satisfactory.

  • In the theory of retrial queues it is usually assumed that the flow of primary customers is Poisson. This means that the number of independent sources, or potential customers, is infinite and each of them generates primary arrivals very seldom. We consider now retrial queueing systems with a homogeneous population, that is, we assume that a finite number K of identical sources generates the so called quasi-random input. We present a survey of the main results and mathematical tools for finite source retrial queues, concentrating on M/G/1//K and M/M/c//K systems with repeated attempts.

  • 확율적 진동 이론을 도입하여 의사 정상파 모델을 세우고 이를 자동차부품들로부터 측정된 미국자동차공학자 협회의 표준 이력 하중의 씨뮬레이숀에 적용하였고 모델의 타당성을 수치적으로 검토하였다. 이 이론 결과는 실험실의 피로 수명의 예측에 응용될 수 있다.

  • It is generally known that many cases of pathological rough voice are characterized not by simple random perturbations but by quasi-periodic perturbations in the speech wave. However, there are few studies on the characteristics of perturbations in vocal fold vibrations associated with this type of voice. We have been conducting studies of pathological vocal fold vibration using a high-speed digital image recording system developed by our institute, Compared to the ordinary high-speed-motion picture system, the present system is compact and simple to operate and thus, it suited for pathological data collection.   • Understanding the realistic behavior of concrete up to failure under different loading conditions within the framework of damage mechanics and plasticity would lead to an enhanced design of concrete structures. In the present investigation, QR (Quick Response) code based random speckle pattern is used as a non-contact sensor, which is an innovative approach in the field of digital image correlation (DIC). A four-point bending test was performed on RC beams of size 1800 mm × 150 mm × 200 mm. Image processing was done using an open source Ncorr algorithm for the results obtained using random speckle pattern and QR code based random speckle pattern. Load-deflection curves of RC beams were plotted for the results obtained using both contact and non-contact (DIC) sensors, and further, Moment (M)-Curvature (κ) relationship of RC beams was developed. The loading curves obtained were used as input data for material model parameters in finite element analysis. In finite element method (FEM) based software, concrete damage plasticity (CDP) constitutive model is used to predict the realistic nonlinear quasi-static flexural behavior of RC beams for monotonic loading condition. The results obtained using QR code based DIC are observed to be on par with conventional results and FEM results.

  • A robust nonlinear $H_2$/$H_{\infty}$ control method for a parallel inverted pendulum with structured perturbation and dry friction is proposed. By the random input describing function techniques, the nonlinear dry friction is approximated into the quasi-linear system. Introducing the quadratic robustness theorem, the robust $H_2$/$H_{\infty}$ control system is constructed for the quasi-linear perturbed system. But it is difficult to design a controller due to the nonlinear correction term in Riccati equation. With some transformations on the Riccati equation containing nonlinear correction term, the design of the robust nonlinear controller can be done easily. Hence when the stiffness and mass of the parallel inverted pendulum vary in certain ranges, the proposed control scheme has the robustness for both the structured perturbation and dry friction. The results of computer simulation show the effectiveness of our proposed control method.
