  • Statement analysis is a technique that examines the credibility of a statement by scientifically analyzing problems and psychological characteristics that appear in the content of the statement. The statement analysis report is prepared, submitted, and used for legal judgments when there is a suspicion of sexual abuse for children(under 13 years of age) and persons with disabilities since it is usually difficult to secure physical evidence nor eyewitnesses. However, the criteria for evaluating the quality of a statement analysis report or testimony are not available in Korea. Although forensic experts and professional organizations in North America and Europe are providing recommendations and guidelines for preparing forensic assessment reports, qualitative analysis research studies for forensic reports revealed a number of problems such as missing or poorly described essential information and lack of logical connection between evaluation results and forensic opinions. Therefore, forensic evaluation guidelines and forensic reports submitted to the courts in the United States, as well as the Structured Quality assessment of eXpert testimony (SQX-12) developed in Sweden were examined to suggest the Korean version of quality evaluation criteria for statement analysis report and testimony. This criteria can be used to improve effectiveness of forensic reports within criminal justice system and used as a guideline to assess the quality forensic reports or expert testimony prepared by experts. However, this criteria do not guarantee the reliability of the statement itself.

  • The purposes of this study were to Identify the .level of measurement on quality Indicators and evaluate the existing indicators in order to determine the priority of quality indicators' application in Korean general hospitals. A survey was conducted using a questionnaire. The subjects were quality managers working at general hospital having over 300 beds. The criteria were relevance, reliability, precision, impact, application, and preference to evaluate quality indicators. According to these six criteria, each indicator was evaluated on a five point scale(5: excellent, 1: poor). The response rate was $40.4\%$. The hospitals have monitored the average of 3.8 indicators(median 4). The indicators such as return to operating room, unplanned readmission, cancellation of booked operations, death, hospital infection, cesarean section rate, volume per disease or procedure, readmission, re-operation, blood transfusion, and post-procedural complications were frequently measured. The top ten quality indicators in the evaluation by its relevance, validity, reliability, impact, preference and application were decubitus ulcer, clean wound infection, fall, unplanned return to operation room, transfusion reactions, foreign body left In during procedure, unplanned readmission, wound infection after contaminated surgery, postoperative hemorrhage/hematoma, and cesarean section rate in order. The high priority quality indicators frequently measured could be used as primary national indicators. Standardized guidelines about monitoring indicators and the utilization will preliminarily be needed to compare and reuse the data for various purposes and improve the quality of care continuously.

  • General criteria for the quality of porous concrete have not been established yet in Korea. And yet, pavement and construction have been performed. In this paper, guidelines on the construction site quality control of porous concrete were developed in order to establish criteria for resolving the issues and problems of porous concrete, to establish methods for improving poor performance, and to manage porous concrete more systematically. In addition, a guide for the construction site quality control of porous concrete, which was appropriate for reality, was developed by researching several quality control guides and maintenance at construction sites. The guide consists of a total of nine chapters such as Application Range, Overview, the Structure of Porous Concrete, the Design of Package Thickness, Package Materials for Porous Concrete, Construction Methods, Quality Assurance and Inspections, Construction Site Quality Control, and Maintenance. It describes quality control guidelines in all steps such as methods for transporting porous concrete from the factory to the construction site, cautions for construction work at construction sites, maintenance, and management. The Guide for the Construction Site Quality Control of Porous Concrete is expected to ensure the quality of porous concrete, to reduce national costs for quality assurance, and to help ensure the health and safety of Korean people.

  • To meet standards for high quality of care and satisfied customers, an evaluation tool about nursing care is necessary. And, We need to evaluate our practice continuously for the improvement in quality and outcomes. This study was intended to develop an evaluation tool about nursing care in NSICU, and was progressed of 3 steps; development, content validity verification and reliability verification. Data were obtained and analysed from Feb. To April, 2000. Development process of the study was as follows A preliminary list was made item by item on the basis of clinical Experience, literature review and patients' record review. Then the standards, criteria and indicators of preliminary evaluation tool were set by 5 clinical nursing panel, and their content validity was reviewed by 27 ICU nurses. Finally, an evaluation tool was developed and verified the reliability at c-university hospital located in Kwang-Ju. The results of this was as follows 1) The evaluation tool of this study developed 8 standards, 39 criterias and 106 indicators. The standards were divided into two dimensions. One was process dimension which contained 4 standards(26 criteria), The other was outcome dimension which contained 4 standards(13 criteria). 2) the Average content validity of the tool was 3.39 at standards, 3.55 at criteria and 3.51 at indicators. 3) Interrater reliability of the tool is r=.7993(p<.001) & internal consistency reliability ${\alpha}$ is .6031 4) Scores of NSICU Patients who participated in this study were 57 at total mean score, 58 at process mean score and 56 at outcome mean score The evaluation tool developed in this study seems to be useful in evaluation nursing practice appropriately for the improvement of nursing care in NSICU. • Performance of software development is measured by two major criteria - roductivity and quality. Although the criteria is empirically tested in software engineering research, they often present with a limited way under consideration of a few factors or contexts for developers to focus on the either productivity facets or quality facets. Analyzing data on software development performance collected over a 13-year period from 20 countries, we investigated how major software development factors - development type, development platform, development technique, language type, DBMS, methodology, methodology acquisition, CASE,, summary of work effort, resource level, max team size, affect the performance of software development. The results suggest that productivity and quality of software development are affected by different factors and context: function points, line of code, extreme defects, major defects, or minor defects. This research provides the empirical evidence that the two performance criteria require for software developer to have careful attention to find the optimal balance between the two performance criteria.

  • Service Providers need to monitor the level of consumer's satisfaction on service they provide continuously and they use appropriate method to measure their operating status. They have to make a plan on their resource and infrastructure to provide their service in the right place at the right time whenever they need. Most previous studies on IT service quality are mainly focused on criteria or levels of quality measurement even though those criteria and levels should be set by considering consumer's needs. And considering for consumer's needs with managerial factors was not found on those studies. So, we suggest deducing quality factors for continuous improvement of IT service management system in this paper as identify the relative priority using QFD method which consider consumers' voices and managerial factors when decide quality factors of IT service management system introduced SLA. We also confirm that our suggestion is practicable and applicable for current operation by case study.

  • As indoor air quality directly affects health and comforts of the residents, researchers from different countries have continued to explore criteria by which indoor air quality can be indicated in a scientific and quantitative manner over the past several decades. However, there are many possibilities that can deteriorate indoor air quality. Due to the uncertainty of influence factors, it is quite difficult to develop a correct evaluation model and quantitative method. Furthermore, the effects from the indoor air pollutants have different levels, leading to the difficulties to apply the regular standard. This study aims to propose evaluation criteria by using the FD-AHP analysis. Obtained findings will be beneficial to construct apartment buildings, commercial buildings and others health performance evaluation framework.
