The purpose of this study was to explore new fisheries-related jobs in the future. The study is based on a thorough literature review and in-depth interviews with experts in the fisheries industry. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, new fisheries-related jobs that surpass the fitness rating of 90% and earn more than 3 on the prospect scale are expected to be found mostly in professional fishery sectors. In the production and processing sectors, fishery quality control manager, marine product cooks, and raw fish cooks looked most promising. In the fishery marketing and distribution section, on the other hand, marine tour consultants, marine product distribution consultants, underwater guides, online marine product traders, marine sports consultants, and marine safety specialists ranked high on the list.

Objectives : This study was conducted in order to investigate the influence of sexual trauma on the psychopathology and quality of life of children and adolescents in Korea. Methods : Twenty-seven children and adolescents and their caretakers who visited the Kangwon Sunflower Center participated in a cross-sectional study. Participants completed the Korean version of Kiddie-Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia-Present and Lifetime Version, Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), and Child Health Questionnaire-Parent Form-50 (CHQ-PF-50). Their scores were compared with those of a age and sex-matched control group of 27 healthy children and adolescents. Results : Victims of sexual violence showed higher t score in Withdrawn, Social problems, Delinquent behavior, Externalizing problems, and Total problems in CBCL, compared with control group. In CHQ-PF-50, there were lower scores on Bodily pain/discomfort, Behavior, Mental health, Time impact in parents, and Family activities subscales in victims of sexual violence. While Behavior and Family activities subscale showed negative correlations with Delinquent behavior, Externalizing problems, and Total problems in CBCL. Mental health subscale showed negative correlations with Social problems, Delinquent behavior, Externalizing problems, and Total problems. In addition, Time impact on parent subscale showed a negative association with Delinquent behavior in CBCL. Conclusion : The current study provided evidence suggesting that victims of sexual violence had a higher level of psychopathology and lower level of quality of life.
The purpose of the study is to promote the expansion of educational environment and students' competence through the application of smart learning. In G University in 2017, 118 freshmen in the department of Chemical-bio engineering who were taking Calculus I class were divided into 2 groups of experimental and control group. The study analyzed the effect of the various learning experience using educational technology and the interaction in the class through SNS on students' visual understanding and academic achievement. The result shows that the students' academic achievement and satisfaction in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. This verifies the potential of smart learning in the field of mathematics in the tertiary level and suggests strategies for high quality smart learning.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the work environment and job satisfaction of hospital workers and to assess their effects on quality of services under the national long-term care hospital evaluation (hereafter, national evaluation), which has implemented since 2008. Methods: A self-administered survey was conducted on 178 hospital workers' at 18 hospitals in Chungcheong province, Korea. Survey questionnaires include questions about respondent' awareness of the national evaluation and any change in work environment and job satisfaction under the national evaluation. We used a path analysis to assess the effects of work environment and job satisfaction on quality of services. Results: Results showed that the effects of the national evaluation on work environment and job satisfaction were positive, which, in turn, leads to better quality of services. Improvements in the work environment under the national evaluation have resulted in increased job satisfaction. High scores for job satisfaction showed a significant association with the quality of services provided in long-term care hospitals. In addition, the national evaluation itself had a positive effect on improving quality of services. Conclusions: In order to facilitate quality improvement activities under the national evaluation, it is suggested that workers be provided with education and training. Continuous efforts to improve work environment and to enhance job satisfaction would lead to provision of better quality of services in long-term care hospitals.
Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and evaluate a dementia prevention intervention program for the elderly with mild cognitive disorder. Methods: The study was nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were a total of 68 elderly who ranged from 21 to 24 of total scores of K-MMSE, aged over 65, in home. The program consisted of music therapy, humor therapy, art therapy, dancing therapy, recreation, and health education to enhance brain function. The program was applied to the experimental group twice a week, ninety minutes per session for eight weeks. The data were analysed by using chi-square test and t-test. Results: The variables measured in the experimental group and the control group before the intervention were not significantly different in the homogeneity test. The dementia prevention program improved the cognition(t=9.243, p<.001), self-esteem(t=.4.336, p<.001), quality of life(t=8.375, p<.001) and reduced depression(t=-3.913, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings confirmed that the dementia prevention program made a contribution to improving cognitive function, self-esteem, and quality of life and also to reduce depression in the elderly with mild cognition disorder. Therefore, it is recommended that this program could be used in clinical practice as an effective nursing intervention for the elderly with mild cognitive disorder.
Purpose: This study proposes the application of Six Sigma management innovation method for more systematically enhanced execution of Quality by Design (QbD) activities. QbD requires a deeper understanding of the product and process at the design and development stage of the drug, and it is very important to ensure that no fault is fundamentally generated through thorough process control. Methods: Analyzing the background and specific procedures of quality improvement based on the drug design basis, and analyzing the key contents of each step, we have differentated and common points from the 6 Sigma methodology. We propose a new model of Six Sigma management innovation method suitable for pharmaceutical industry. Results: Regulatory agencies are demanding results from statistical analysis as a scientific basis in developing medicines to treat human life through quality improvement activities based on drug design. By utilizing the education system to improve the statistical analysis capacity in the Six Sigma activities and operating the 6 Sigma Belt system in conjunction, it helped systematically strengthen the execution power of quality improvement activities based on pharmaceutical design based on the members of the pharmaceutical industry. Conclusion: By using QbD Six Sigma, which combines quality enhancement based on pharmaceutical design basis and Six Sigma methodology suitable for pharmaceutical industry, it is possible to obtain satisfactory results both by pharmaceutical companies and regulators by using appropriate statistical analysis methods for preparing scientific evidence data required by regulatory.

Korean hospitals implement external quality assessment (EQA) schemes to improve the quality of clinical tests. However, smaller hospital do not implement EQA due to lack of appreciation and cost burdens. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of EQA from the perspective of clinical chemistry carried out at a small-to-medium sized hospital (SMH) and to investigate factors influencing quality control. The medical institution concerned had performed EQA on 21 items annually for three years and had analyzed measurement methods, variation coefficients, and anomalous results as defined by the SMH. No significant change in test methods or variation coefficients, which exhibited a high level of variation, were observed for any test item over the 3-year period. The results obtained showed that anomalous test results were significantly more frequent when EQA was not conducted (p<0.05), internal quality control was not conducted daily (p<0.01), and when tests were less frequently performed (p<0.01). Small-to-medium sized hospitals need to be more aware of the benefits of EQA and provide tailored education to staff.

The essence of the definition of "tolerance" is analyzed. Motivational, knowledge and behavioral criteria for tolerance of future teachers are highlighted. Indicators of the motivational criterion are the formation of value orientations, motivational orientation, and the development of empathy. Originality and productivity of thoughts and judgments, tact of dialogue, pedagogical ethics and tact are confirmed as indicators of the knowledge criterion. The behavioral criterion includes social activity as a life position, emotional and volitional endurance, and self-control of one's own position. The formation of tolerance is influenced by a number of factors: the social environment, the information society, existing stereotypes and ideas in society, the system of education and relationships between people, and the system of values. The main factors that contribute to the education of tolerance in future teachers are highlighted. Analyzing the structure of tolerance, it is necessary to distinguish the following functions of tolerance: - motivational (determines the composition and strength of motivation for social activity and behavior, promotes the development of life experience, because it allows the individual to accept other points of view and vision of the solution; - informational (understanding the situation, the personality of another person); - regulatory (tolerance has a close connection with the strong - willed qualities of a person: endurance, selfcontrol, self-regulation, which were formed in the process of Education); - adaptive (allows the individual to develop in the process of joint activity a positive, emotional, stable attitude to the activity itself, which the individual carries out, to the object and subject of joint relations). The implementation of pedagogical functions in the information society: educational, organizational, predictive, informational, communicative, controlling, etc. provides grounds to consider pedagogical tolerance as an integrative personal quality of a representative of any profession in the field of "person-person". The positions that should become conditions for the formation of tolerance of the future teacher in the information society are listed.

This research was conducted for the purpose of developing a high-fidelity simulation education program, applying it to clinical field and analyzing this program's effect on nursing college students in order to solve problems being caused from the gap between the adult nursing theoretical class and practical education. As the analysis method, this study developed a scenario including an algorithm for caring hyperkalemia patients, the evaluation check list, and debriefing according to the adult nursing theoretical class's learning goal and measured the high-fidelity simulation program's effect in using the non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. As the results from the analysis, there secured the simulation education program's general properties and dependent variable's homogeneity in the experimental group and the control group. The nursing simulation practice program for hyperkalemia patients showed slight effect on the experimental group compared to the control group in fields such as nursing practice ability, problem solving ability, critical thinking skills, self-confidence of nursing, and knowledge. (t=-83.313, p<.001, t=-3.169, p=.003, t=-2.473, p=.017, t=-4.036, p<.001, t=-5.044, p<.001). High-Fidelity simulation programs in conjunction with an adult nursing theory classes of nursing students nursing practice ability, problem solving ability, critical thinking skills, self-confidence of nursing, and knowledge. This simulation program may be an effective educational method for nursing practice and also support improved quality of nursing education.
Background: Diabetes education is an important factor in blood glucose control. Reinforced education is necessary for effective diabetes education. However, it is difficult to provide reinforced diabetes education within Korea's medical environment. Therefore, we want to analyze the effect of continuous diabetes education using mobile health care that can effectively provide repeated education without having to face the patient. Methods: This study is a multicenter, randomized, controlled, pre-post design study conducted to analyze the effect of a continuous diabetes education method. A total of 109 people were registered at five hospitals in south Korea, and they were randomly assigned to the app group (34 people) who received real-time coaching and repetitive training, the logbook group (37 people) who received face-to-face training after writing a blood glucose logbook, and the general group (38 people) who received a one-time diabetes education. The study was conducted for a total of 24 weeks. Twenty-one patients withdrew their consent and failed to perform an HbA1c. A final 88 patients were analyzed. The difference in HbA1c, Self-management behavior, and Quality of life before and after education was analyzed. Results: The study involved 51 (58%) male subjects, mean age was 55.8 years and mean duration of diabetes was 7.6 years. After 24 weeks of intervention, there was no significant difference in self-care behavior and quality of life between the three groups, but the HbA1c of the app group significantly decreased after education compared to the logbook group and the general group (F=4.62, p=.013). Conclusion: It can be seen through the app group that receiving real-time education is more effective in improving blood glucose management and continuous diabetes education is important.
