반도체 공정 기술의 발달은 기하 급수적인 집적도의 증가를 가져오고, 이는 한 칩에 시스템을 모두 집적시키는 시스템 온 칩(SoC : System on Chip) 설계가 가능해지고, 이에 따른 설계 방법의 변화를 요구하고 있다. Soc 설계는 시스템에서 설계 사양(Specification)의 정의가 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG 오디오 복호기에서 사용되는 IMDCT를 시스템 수준의 실행 가능한 설계 사양(Executable Specification)에 의해 설계하였다.

가돌리니아 첨가 우라니아에 대한 점결함 모델이 순수 우라니아의 점결함구조를 바탕으로 하여 개발되었다. Gd 도펀트는 금속이온자리에 -1 유효전하를 지니고, 주위의 산소침입형을 밀어내어 산소침입형의 자리를 감소시킨다. 산소 공공 농도가 증가하면 Gd 도펀트는 산소공공과 집합체를 형성하게 된다. 이 점결함 모델은 Gd 도펀트의 양의 증가에 따른 산소포텐샬의 증가와 산소 대금추비율이 2일때 급속한 산소포텐샬 변화를 설명하여, 현존하는 실험값과 좋은 일치를 보였다.

Storage cloud scheme, pushing data to the storage cloud poses much attention regarding data confidentiality. With encryption concept, data accessibility is limited because of encrypted data. To secure storage system with high access power is complicated due to dispersed storage environment. In this paper, we propose a hardware-based security scheme such that a secure dispersed storage system using erasure code is articulated. We designed a hardware-based security scheme with data encoding operations and migration capabilities. Using TPM (Trusted Platform Module), the data integrity and security is evaluated and achieved.

The Purpose of this study is to develop indicators for low carbon planning in rural village. We made two indicators for inland area and waterside area to consider regional disparities. To develop indicators, a draft of the indicators was estimated with collected research materials and 52 experts reviewed this draft three times with Modified Delphi Technique to check the validity and revise the draft. As a result, the inland indicators were settled with 4 domains 8 items 20 indicators and the waterside indicators were 4 domains 8 items 22 indicators. The final indicators will be used to realize low carbon rural village planning in future which the government is pushing forward with construction of six-hundred low carbon green village.

The bearing capacity of drilled shafts that take excavation by Percussion Rrotary Drilling(PRD) into consideration was evaluated using static and dynamic pile load tests. The emphasis was on quantifying the allowable bearing capacity and point load-transfer at the pile tip on seven instrumented steel piles. Of the seven instrumented piles, five piles are placed to the bottom of the excavation by rotary and pushing into the final depth of the excavation, as opposed to the two driven piles. Based on the results obtained, it is shown that the skin friction mobilized by PRD is much greater than point resistance, whereas in driven piles, the point resistance is greater than skin friction. It is also found that much greater pile capacity was proved in the case of drilled shafts, compared to the driven piles and thus, the excavation by rotary drilling gives reliable pile capacity required to design axially loaded piles.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of functional ability on relocation among the elderly. Longitudinal data from the Asset and Health Dynamics among the Oldest Old (1993, 1995) were analyzed for 6,225 respondents aged 70 or older. Among functional ability measures, difficulties in advanced activities of daily living (i. e., making telephone calls, taking medications, and managing money), lower body activities (i. e., walking several blocks, climbing one flight of stairs, pulling or pushing large objects, and carrying over 10 pounds), and household activities of daily living (i. e., preparing hot meals and shopping for groceries) were the predictors of increased residential move. Difficulties in basic activities of daily living (i. e., bathing, dressing, getting in and out, and using the toilet) were strongly related to increased entrance into an institutional care facility. Efforts to enhance the independent living of the elderly in the community setting should target the compensation of these functional difficulties.

Underground pipe is an instrument to transport rapidly and safely a lot of fluid like gas, oil, water supply and drain system. It acts like blood vessels of human body in a modern industry. As in this country, the pipe facilities have been constructing since 1970's. The pipes constructed for a long time ago are already starting to reveal the problem like corrosion and most of them are built underground. So for companies, the managing of the underground pipes is very hard because it needs high technology and a lot of money. So we made a new robot system to repair and maintain the pipes at a low price. This new robot is devised using pressing wall type to work inside 700${\sim}$900(mm) size pipe. And it has good carrying and working power.

This paper describes the locomotion of a water jumping robot which attempts to emulate the fishing spider’s ability to jump on the water surface. While previous studies of the robots mimicking arthropods living on water were focused on recreating their horizontal skating motions, here we aim to achieve a vertical jumping motion. The robot jumps by pushing the water surface with rapidly released legs which were initially bent. The motion is triggered with a latch driven by the shape memory alloy actuator. The robot is capable of jumping to the maximum height of 26mm. Jumping efficiency, defined the maximum jumping height on water over the maximum jumping height on rigid ground, is 0.26 This work represents a first step toward robots that can locomote on water with superior versatility including skating and jumping.

ERP system is a very popular tool for pushing management innovation and implementing an integrated information system. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship among the structure of production systems, types of implementation strategy, relative importance of competitive goals, information technology and culture level, and the efficiency from using the system. The data for this study were collected from 45 Korean manufacturing firms that have implemented ERP system. Research results confirm that the success factors include the top managements' strategic views and culture level related to new information technology. But the linkage between the structure of production systems and types of implementation strategy is proved to be very weak. Also control effect of types of implementation strategy on the efficiency of the organization is not strongly recognized. A summarized report of other findings is provided as well.

Korea's HEMS are mainly operated during the week, but they are pushing for 24-hour operations. This study has made an overall comparison and review of helicopter safety management that should be accompanied to this end. For research purposes, helicopter regulations and helicopter accident statistics were analyzed, with a high accident rate associated with pilot error and night flight. It was proposed that future preparations would require reinforcement of laws and regulations, reinforcement of pilots' night training, and introduction of training and preflight risk assessments. This study will provide a direction for future helicopter safety. This study will provide for future direction of helicopter safety research.
