After the introduction of fuzzy sets by Zadeh, there have been a number of generalizations of this fundamental concept. The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy sets introduced by Aranassov is one among them. In this paper, we apply the concept of an intuitionistic fuzzy set to commutative ideals in BCK-algebras. The notion of an intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideal of a BCK-algebra is introduced, and some related properties are investigated. Characterizations of an intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideal are given. Conditions for an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal to be an intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideal are given. Using a collection of commutative ideals, intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideals are established.

In this paper we investigate the Artinianness of certain local cohomology modules $H^i_I(N)$ where N is a minimax module over a commutative Noetherian ring R and I is an ideal of R. Also, we characterize the set of attached prime ideals of $H^n_I(N)$, where n is the dimension of N.

In this note, we show that a strongly 𝜙-ring R is a 𝜙-PvMR if and only if any 𝜙-torsion-free R-module is 𝜙-w-flat, if and only if any GV-torsion-free divisible R-module is nonnil-absolutely w-pure, if and only if any GV-torsion-free h-divisible R-module is nonnil-absolutely w-pure, if and only if any finitely generated nonnil ideal of R is w-projective.

Let R be a commutative ring with identity, X be an indeterminate over R, and R[X] be the polynomial ring over R. In this paper, we study when R[X] is a radically principal ideal ring. We also study the t-operation analog of a radically principal ideal domain, which is said to be t-compactly packed. Among them, we show that if R is an integrally closed domain, then R[X] is t-compactly packed if and only if R is t-compactly packed and every prime ideal Q of R[X] with Q ∩ R = (0) is radically principal.

The purpose of this research is to contemplate chronological changes of Korean actress facial image and fashion from 1960s to 1990s and to identify Korean women's ideal beauty reflected through the times. Adjectives describing representative actresses of each studied decade were collected from major newspapers and magazines. Korean women's ideal beauty was divided into 4 sub-types such as youthful, pure, sophisticate, and sexy images. As a result of analyzing actress facial image and fashion, youthful and pure beauties were found consistently over the studied periods. Representative characteristics of sophisticate and sexy beauties have been changed over the studied periods which were influenced by socio-cultural environment factors. The result of this research can provide meaningful sources for historical drama, celebrity marketing strategy planning, and personal image consulting.

Let $R={\bigoplus}_{{\alpha}{\in}{\Gamma}}\;R_{\alpha}$ be a graded integral domain, H be the set of nonzero homogeneous elements of R, and ${\star}$ be a semistar operation on R. The purpose of this paper is to study the properties of $quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ and UMt-domains of graded integral domains. For this reason we study the graded analogue of ${\star}-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains called $gr-{\star}-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains. We study several ring-theoretic properties of $gr-{\star}-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains. As an application we give new characterizations of UMt-domains. In particular it is shown that R is a $gr-t-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain if and only if R is a UMt-domain if and only if RP is a $quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain for each homogeneous maximal t-ideal P of R. We also show that R is a UMt-domain if and only if H is a t-splitting set in R[X] if and only if each prime t-ideal Q in R[X] such that $Q{\cap}H ={\emptyset}$ is a maximal t-ideal.

Let ${\mathcal{G}}$ be an ultragraph and let $C^*({\mathcal{G}})$ be the associated $C^*$-algebra introduced by Tomforde. For any gauge invariant ideal $I_{(H,B)}$ of $C^*({\mathcal{G}})$, we approach the quotient $C^*$-algebra $C^*({\mathcal{G}})/I_{(H,B)}$ by the $C^*$-algebra of finite graphs and prove versions of gauge invariant and Cuntz-Krieger uniqueness theorems for it. We then describe primitive gauge invariant ideals and determine purely infinite ultragraph $C^*$-algebras (in the sense of Kirchberg-Rørdam) via Fell bundles.

We prove some characterization of rings with chain conditions in terms of fuzzy quotient rings and fuzzy ideals. We also show that a ring R is left Artinian if and only of the set of values of every fuzzy ideal on R is upper well-ordered.

For a complete open Riemannian manifold, the ideal boundary consists of points at infinity. The so-called Busemann-functions play the role of distance functions for points at infinity. We study the similarity and difference between Busemann-functions and ordinary distance functions.

We introduce the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy semiprimality of a semigroup which is an extension of semiprimality in it. And we obtain a characterization of a semigroup that is a semilattice of simple semigroups in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy semiprime interior ideals.
