공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도에 대한 부모의 인식 연구 (The Study of Parents' Perception on Accreditation System of Public Type Child Care Centers)

  • 본 연구는 공공형 어린이집 이용자인 부모의 공공형 어린이집에 대한 내용 인식이 어느 정도인지 파악하여 그 결과를 바탕으로 추후 공공형 어린이집 이용 활성화와 공공형 어린이집의 제도 개선 및 역할증대를 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도에 대한 부모의 의견과 인식에 대해 조사하였다. 연구대상은 K도에 위치한 민간 어린이집 유형의 공공형 어린이집 7개소 부모 202명이다. 조사방법은 공공형 어린이집 인증제도에 대한 내용을 설문지로 구성하여 배부하였다. 결과는 첫째, 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도의 필요성에 대한 인식은 높게 나타났다. 또한 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도가 필요한 측면에 대해서는 어린이집 수준의 상향화, 수준 높은 보육내용의 제공부분에 대해 다수가 인식한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집 공인 인증시설이라는 것이 어린이집 선택 시 영향을 주는 것으로 나타냈다. 셋째, 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도에 대한 인식부분에서는 '보통이다'라는 답변이 높게 나타났고, 그 다음으로 '알고 있다'라는 답변의 순서로 나타났다. 본 연구는 향후 부모들의 공공형 어린이집에 대한 이해를 높이고 이용활성화 및 제도 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다.

보육시설 급식소의 공동조리 요구도 조사 (Need Assessment for Central Food Production in Child Care Center Foodservices)

  • Nutrition during childhood is essential for growth and maintenance of health. Good food habits developed during the childhood will contribute both to the healthy growth and the prevention of the degenerative disease of later life. Both parents and the providers in child care centers play an important role for children's good eating behavior. Therefore all child care programs should achieve recommended standards for meeting children's nutritional and educational needs in a safe, sanitary, and supportive environment to promote the healthy growth and development of children. The purposes of this study were to evaluate the foodservice management practices and assess the needs for a Central Production Unit by contacting the child care center' providers. This approach was achieved using a variety of qualitative and quantitative information including the general foodservice management practices and the needs for a Central Production Unit. An indepth face-to-face interview with structured-questionnaires was undertaken at 32 representative child-care centers in Seoul. Statistical data analysis was done using the SAS program for descriptive analysis and ANOVA. The number of national/public and private sectors were 11 respectively, followed by 10 licensed home day-care centers. Total average number of children in child-care centers was 54.3 $\pm$48.5. The foodservice productivity index in child-care centers was 4.8 minutes per meal for public child care centers, 6.0 for private child-care centers, and 9.8 for home child care centers. Home child care centers were found to have the lowest productivity index which indicated inefficient foodservice practice. The important factors in group purchasing were menus(39.6%) or close distance(39.6%) > type of foodservice operation(32.8%) > total number of meals(19.9%) > food costs(16.2%) in order. Average score of the efficiency for central food production in child-care centers was 3.80 $\pm$0.84 out of 5.

안산시 보육 시설의 급식 관리 실태 조사 (The Survey on the Foodservice Management System of the Child Care Centers in Ansan)

  • This study was carried out to investigate foodservice management of child care centers in Ansan and to suggest the basic data for foodservice management improvement. A questionnaire survey of 48 child care centers in Ansan was undertaken. Child care centers were categorized large (children eve. 100) and small(children less than 100) by size and public and private by type. Survey questionnaires consisted of general background, employee, food inspection and storage, kitchen, cooking facilities, food distribution and hygiene utensils. The results of this study are summarized as follows: because 46.9% to 56.3% of the centers took a dietitian in employment, foodservices in most of centers were not managed by professionals. The average of employee were 0.77 persons in smalll centers and 1.65 persons in large centers. The average space of kitchen were 3.86 pyung in smalll center, 6.06 pyung (1 pyung=$3.3058m^2$) in large centers. According to the data analyzed from Food inspection and storage, kitchen, cooking facilities, food distribution and hygiene utensils, the results indicate that the foodservice management of child care centers were in a relatively poor state. The director in child care centers should recognize the importance of the sanitation management and pay more attention to food service facilities. To improve foodservice performance at child care centers, it is required fur the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family to develop both the kitchen facility model based on the general sanitation standards and guidelines for child care centers.

  • Purpose: Grafting new hanok-style application technology on child daycare facility among public buildings can be an alternative that provides infant facility, which is placed at the center of social attention and interest, with pleasant nursing environment. Besides, it is expected to have a great impact on infants' and young children's emotion by helping them recognize traditional culture at early stage and furthermore can be used for villagers to experience differentiated traditional culture. Method: To investigate the recent construction of HeungCheon/SuRak/GeumGwa's Hanok child daycare facility recognizing for architectural planning characteristics in common tendency Hanok that presents a physical improvement plan for preparing the continued competitiveness. Also attention to the creative expression of the traditional spaces about the natural environment are implemented in Nurseries and we propose the possibilities that can be realized in the future Hanok child daycare facility. Result: The combination of modern materials and modern construction technology of New-hanok method with improved ability has improved the shortcomings of traditional architecture and increase the ease and safety of traditional architecture succeed the suggest direction of improvement modern society. Therefore, Hanok child daycare facility is preparing adequate capability to solve regional polarization and social care issues.

일부 보육교사의 영양지식과 식생활태도 및 영양교육 요구 조사 (A Study on Nutrition Knowledge, Dietary Attitudes and Nutrition Education Needs among Child-Care Teachers)

  • This study was conducted on 175 child-care teachers, who participated in in-service education, to research the methods to improve child-care teacher's nutrition management capability for infants and children. Investigated results of child-care teachers' nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude status, and needs on nutrition education in child-care centers are as follows: The score of child-care teachers' nutrition knowledge was 10.83 points out of 15, which is about 72%. Total score increased as teachers' age but not significantly different from their career duration, since teachers who have a child-care career less than 5 years acquired 10.91 points, which is higher than 10.64 points of teachers having more than 5 years of child-care career. Teachers' average recognition to the nutrition knowledge was 90.6%, increased significantly by the older they are, and decreased according to the accumulation of their career. The average accuracy of the nutrition knowledge was 79.7%, increased in proportion to the teachers' age. The marks of child-care teachers' dietary attitude were 41.3 points (possible score range 5-50) and 83%, older teachers tended to have more desirable dietary attitude. As indicated by the increment of child-care career, the score of emotional attitude tended to be increased but which of cognitive and behavioral attitude showed a declining tendency. Nutrition information which child-care teachers were mainly interested in were correct selection of food (58.1%), obesity and weight management (52.7%), and nutrient content of food (44.9%). Nutrition education contents which child-care teachers needed were 'nutritious food and menu for child' (72.2%), 'health management of child' (69.2%) and meal management of child (40.2%). Nutrition education methods, which child-care teachers considered as of desirable ones, were cooking class of small scale (31.8%), visiting class at child-care center (26.5%). In consequence, the nutrition knowledge and dietary attitude of child-care teachers were not good and showed different issues by age and career duration. Therefore, it is requisite to intensify nutrition management courses in child-care teachers' qualification and in-service education courses which has actual necessity and suitability based on teachers' age, career, and the type of child-care center, and to disseminate these through public health centers and child-care & education information centers to pursue the efficient balance of nutrition education programs.

영아를 둔 어머니의 어린이집 선택에 영향을 미치는 변인에 관한 연구 (Effects of Variables on Mothers' Choices of Types of Infant Care)

  • 본 연구는 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 어린이집 선택과 관련된 다양한 변인의 영향을 체계적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 어린이집의 대기신청을 통해 최근 6개월 이내 입소한 0~40개월의 영아를 둔 어머니 185명과 현재 대기신청 중이며 자녀가 어린이집을 이용하지 않고 있는 어머니 53명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 어머니들은 어린이집 대기신청 시 국공립어린이집을 선호하는 경향이 있으며, 주된 이유는 보육환경 및 시설의 질적인 우수성 때문인 것으로 나타났다. 자녀를 어린이집에 보내지 않는 어머니는 주변에 자녀를 보낼 만한 어린이집이 충분하지 않으며 질적 수준도 낮은 것으로 평가하였으며, 어린이집을 이용하는 어머니에 비해 지적 성취와 성숙주의를 강조하는 신념을 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 어린이집을 이용하는 어머니들의 경우 자녀의 연령이 어릴수록, 취업모인 경우, 대기신청기간이 길수록, 어린이집의 구조적 요인을 중요하게 여길수록 민간 또는 가정어린이집을 선택하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니가 어린이집을 선택하는 의사결정 과정에 어떠한 변인들이 우선순위로 작용하는지를 살펴봄으로써 이들의 다양한 보육 욕구를 이해하고, 어린이집의 확충 및 질적 제고를 위한 실효성 있는 정책을 수립하는 데 유용한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있다는 데 의의가 있다.

일개 시 보건소의 영유아 성장발달 스크리닝 결과 분석 (Analysis on the Results of Developmental Screening Test in One Public Health Center)

  • This descriptive exploratory study was conducted to analyze the results of developmental screening test using DDST and the follow-up diagnostic evaluation in one public health center, and to evaluate the feasibility of developmental screening in nursing. Samples were 373 children under 6 years who visited the public health center. Mothers' satisfaction on the developmental clinic was also determined. Summaries of the results were as follows:v 1. 0.5% of children in height and 1.9% of children in weight were included in below 3 percentile of Korean children's growth chart, but none of them showed developmental delay. 2. The results of DDST showed 92.1% of subjects were classified as normal, 3.7% as abnormal, and 4.2% as questionable among 354 children. 3. Most of children who showed the abnormal development at the first DDST were confirmed having the developmental delay at the follow-up diagnostic evaluation. On the other hand, most of children who showed the questionable development at the first DDST revealed having the normal development in follow-up screening test. 4. The result of the DDST was influenced by the birth order of the subject and delivery type. 5.The mean satisfaction score by mothers on developmental clinic was 4.35 in 5 Likert scale. In conclusion, we could certain the feasibility and usefulness of developmental screening in community and child care nursing. To fulfil the increasing needs of mothers with infants on the child development, nurses have to provide anticipatory guidance and parent education in addition to the developmental screening test. We hope to expand the developmental screening in nursing field not only of clinical setting but also of community.

영.유아 보육시설의 급식 위생실태 - 충남 아산 지역 중심으로 - (The Foodservice Sanitation Status of the Child Care Centers at Asan City in Chungnam)

  • We investigated the foodservice sanitation status of the childcare centers in Chungnam Asan area to provide the information for sanitation guidelines and checklist in various operation types of childcare centers. Self-completed questionnaires were collected from the directors of 95 centers: national-public 9 (9.5%), corporation 10 (10.5%), private 52 (54.7%), and home care 24 (25.3%) types. The analyzed results are shown in foundation type; the investigated items are about critical hygienic problems and safety recognition level, presence of sanitation guideline, demand of dietian's employment and the role, hygienic management and education level, and the present and future of sanitary facility and equipment. From this study we found that home care center, which had low capacity, was comparatively poor at sanitation status, the use of hygienic standard and guideline, and safety recognition level. In our opinion, the use and application of same sanitation standard to any type and size of center is not appropriate and rational. The reestablishment of the sanitation guideline and checklist considering the conditions of various operation types would be necessary. Also periodic hygienic education by hygenic professionals, continuous parents' attention and cooperation of related government organizations are needed for improvement of foodservice sanitation status of childcare centers.

어린이 급식소의 위생관리 실태 조사 및 방문지도에 따른 위생관리 개선 효과 분석 (The Assessment of Food Safety Practices and the Effect of Visiting Education on Food Safety Improvement in Children's Foodservice Facilities)

  • 본 연구는 어린이 급식소의 위생 안전관리 실태를 조사하고, 경기 남부지역 소재 총 102개소의 어린이 급식소를 대상으로 1년 동안 순회방문지도를 실시한 결과 위생 안전관리 수준이 어느 정도 개선되었는지를 평가하고자 수행하였다. 평가 대상 급식소는 어린이집이 84.3%, 유치원과 지역아동센터가 각각 7.8%였다. 그리고 운영주체는 민간이 70.6%, 국공립이 19.6%, 법인이 9.8%였다. 급식 원아수는 50명 미만이 46.1%, 50명 이상 100명 미만인 곳이 53.9%였다. 위생 안전관리 실태 평가 결과 총점은 평균 84.09점이었고, 위생 안전관리 평가 총점은 급식소 구분에 따라서는 어린이집과 유치원에 비해 지역아동센터의 평가 점수가 유의적으로 낮았다(p<0.01). 또한 급식소 운영주체에 따라서는 국공립으로 운영하는 곳이 민간에서 운영하는 곳에 비해 위생 안전관리 점수가 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.001). 그리고, 급식 원아수가 50명 이상인 경우가 50명 미만인 경우에 비해 위생 안전관리 총점이 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.01). 한편, 위생 안전관리 수행도가 90% 이상 되는 항목은 전체의 41.0%, 수행도가 60%미만인 항목은 전체의 15.4%였다. 이 중 수행도가 가장 낮은 항목은 '채소와 과일의 세척 소독 실시'(26.5%)였다. 또한 순회방문지도 평가 회차에 따른 위생 안전관리 평가 총점의 차이 분석을 실시한 결과 1, 2회차 때에는 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않다가 3회차에서는 1, 2회차에 비해 평가 점수가 유의적으로 상승하였다. 그리고 이원분산분석을 실시한 결과, 전체 위생 안전관리 총점은 급식소 구 분(F=21.730, p<0.001)과 순회방문지도 회차(F=7.968, p<0.001)에 따라서 유의적인 차이가 있었고, 급식소 운영주체(F=31.387, p<0.001)와 순회방문지도 회차(F=7.507, p<0.001)에 따라서 유의적인 차이가 있었다. 또한 급식 원아수(F=17.133, p<0.001)와 순회방문지도 회차(F=17.065, p<0.001)에 따라서도 유의적인 차이가 있었다. 이 결과를 종합해볼 때 어린이 급식관리지원센터의 순회방문지도는 어린이 급식소의 위생 안전관리 수행도를 효과적으로 향상시키는데 기여했다고 판단된다.

어린이집 유형에 따른 보육교사의 이직의도에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Turnover Intention of Teacher by Child Care Center's Types)

  • 본 연구는 대전, 세종, 충 남북 지역의 어린이집에서 근무하는 보육교사 375명을 조사대상자로 하여 그들의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 어린이집은 가정, 민간, 공공형, 법인 등의 4개 유형으로 나누어 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 이직의도 수준은 4개의 모든 집단에서 보통수준보다 높았으며, 집단별로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 각 집단별로 다른 것으로 나타났다. 가정과 민간어린이집 보육교사는 직무스트레스의 영유아관리, 조직건강의 원장 리더십 영역으로 나타났다. 공공형 어린이집 보육교사는 직무스트레스의 행정업무, 조직건강의 원장 리더십 영역으로 나타났으며, 법인형태 어린이집 보육교사는 직무스트레스의 동료 및 학부모와의 관계, 조직건강의 교사능력 영역으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 어린이집 유형에 따른 보육교사의 이직의도를 감소할 수 있는 집단별 맞춤형 방안을 처음으로 제시했다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
