In an effort to obtain preventive, diagnostic and therpeutic medical and exercise training information of rheumatoid arthritis as well as to provide pertinent data to be used in development of exercise program for the management of rheumatoid arthritis, this study was conducted by using literature review. Because RA is a disease that involves both joints and muscles, its activity in the different functional classes influences the patient's ability to exercise. A patient in Functional Class 1 may perform any type of exercise because the disease involvement has not yet reached major importance. Exceptions may include hard physical exercise, running, and individual racket sports. In almost all cases, bicycle exercise is possible. Patients in Functional Class 2 and a few in Class 3 can perform most types of exercise (especially cycling, walking, heated pool exercise and even jogging) in low activity phases of RA. Although a few patients in Functional Class 3 can walk, jog, and perform similar types of exercise, most persons in this class can swim or exercise on a bicycle if the type of exercise, its intensity, and its range of motion are modified according to the patient's anatomic and pathologic conditions. Most patients in Functional Class 4 are not able to carry out complicated movements. We conclude that physical training for persons with RA has physical, psychological, and social consequences that are clearly beneficial. We recommend training be one part of the many involved in the complicated treatment of RA.
Land price can be affected by convenience or psychological repulsion like PIMFY (Please In My Front Yard) or NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) for various facilities. Services related to public establishment, welfare, medical attention, and amenities in rural areas are comparatively poorer than those in urban areas. The purpose of this study is to estimate the implications of the accessibility to community facilities in rural areas for land prices using a hedonic price model. The accessibility to facilities is estimated by real road distances and the land prices are applied for four types of land usages: field, rice paddy, building lots, and village halls. Community facilities are classified from public and community services view: education, safety, culture, transport, environment, health care, and finance. The results show that the accessibility to health care and transport can positively affect land prices and the accessibility to environment (waste facilities and junkyard) and unpleasant services (funeral hall and charnel house) can negatively affect land prices. Especially, the accessibility to hospital is the most positive influential factor for all types of land usages.
This study derives the characteristics of physical environmental designs and formats which can serve as guidelines in spatial design for the social regeneration of residential areas. For this purpose, this study redefined factors of social regeneration in living areas and their design strategies through a theoretical review. This study also selected practical examples and investigated the characteristics of environmental design in terms of shapes, finishing, and devices used stated in the strategies for social regeneration in the given examples through field investigation. As a result, designs for communities should Maximize characteristics of daily use and formated types reused as well as use complicated and small facilities. Second, access types should make it easy to induce artificial movement, themes using finishing materials should be given, and perception media should be used to encourage physical activity. Third, psychological stability can be achieved by improving the colors used in the finishing materials, and should ensuring safe environmental facilities by design. Finally, for metaphoric contact to the properties of nature, using themes of nature in the finishing materials and in diverse devices.

Among the 38 studies, 34 studies used Quasi-experimental design and 13 studies (33%) were conducted for the breast cancer patients. Mind-body therapy (53%), manual healing therapy (42%), and pharmacologic and biological therapy (5%) were the often used CAT types. Nausea, vomiting, vital signs, immune cell, pain, and fatigue were measured as physiologic outcome variables; anxiety, depression, and hope as psychological outcome variables; and quality of life as social outcome variables. This study was conducted to examine the comfortability of wearing pantyhose in summer. To satisfy this purpose. 4 types of pantyhose were chosen from the market: a Mono type(M), a Wooly type(W), and two Support types(Sl, S2), were chosen. After the performances of samples were measured, these were worn by 8 healthy adult women. Under the summer field environment, psychological comfort ability was examined through the 5 steps of SD method. Physiological comfort ability was examined by measuring the body reactions(clothing pressure, skin temperature, total body weight loss, rectal temperature, pulse rates, and blood pressure), under the artificial environment($28.5{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$, $82{\pm}3%$). The results of this examination were as follows : The order of comfortability which people felt in the field was W>M>S1>S2. The number of items which showed the highest correlation with comfort ability decreased and the correlation was lowered on the whole as time went by. There was positive high correlation between the performances of samples and comfort ability in compressibility, air permeability, water vapor permeability, while a negative high correlation in thickness, weight, compressional resiliency, strain (course) and moisture regain. The mean skin temperature was in the comfort zone, and rectal temperature, pulse rates, blood pressure were mostly in the normal range. Also it was showed that the correlation between the performance of samples and body reactions, except total body weight loss, was low.
The purpose of this study is to develop the scale to measure family health and to analyze the data collected by the survey in order to develop the educational program for healthy family. The sample of this study is taken by 522 housewives who are living in Seoul and are over the age of 40. The data are analyzed according to frequency, percentages, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and Multinomial logistic Regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the scale measuring family health is developed through interviews with the respondents, preliminary survey, and comments reviewed from specialists. The responses to the scale are significantly different depending on whether they answered their family is healthy or not. Second, minimum family performances for family health are related to the category of social involvement of the family. Third, the types of healthy family are grouped by the responses related to the current state and the status of family health. The number of the type of the worst state-the worst status of family health is the largest, followed by the number of the type of the best state-the best status of family health. Fourth, the important and significant variables that affected the types of family health are psychological variables rather than personal and household-related variables of the respondents.
